Nebraska Roll Call

Who is going to the game tomorrow? I am flying into Omaha from Detroit and renting a car. This is one of the last Big Ten stadiums that I have yet to see in person.

A group of friends and I are coming in from all over the country.  We're all flying into Omaha today and renting a few cars as well.  Looking forward to it!  I know a lot of people aren't thrilled with the night game, but it was best case scenario for us.  Planning on making some breakfast and then bar hopping before head to a friend's tailgate then going to the game.

I'm working my way through seeing Michigan play at every Big Ten school - will just have Maryland and OSU after this weekend.  GO BLUE!

Maryland is such a terrible stadium experience. You'll enjoy that at least 40% of the crowd will be Michigan fans, but overall it's a boring, generic stadium surrounded by parking lots in the middle of a boring, generic campus. If you're taking a shuttle to one of the Metro stops, prepare to wait in line for the remainder of your life.

Live in the Omaha area and will be at the game!

A heads up to people coming into Omaha, traffic from Omaha to Lincoln can get pretty back up on game days. I dont think its as bad for a night game as it is for an 11am local time kick, but just giving you guys a head up so you can plan accordingly.

I can't make it this time around, but I went to the last game we played at Nebraska (2012), which was also a night game. They have the best game day atmosphere in the B1G, hands down, and possibly one of the best in the country. Husker fans are also very friendly and hospitable to fans of the visiting team. They pride themselves on that. We had random people approaching us and thanking us for making the trip, asking us if we needed anything, inviting us to their tailgates, etc. Every college football fanatic ought to visit Lincoln for a game. It's quite an experience.

Have fun!

We live in Omaha, so I will be taking my 7 year old son to his first Michigan football game! He's even more excited than I am (and I haven't been to a game in-person since we moved here).

Mine is 9 and he is pumped. He's also never been to any away game before, so its going to blow his mind seeing all of the red and people not cheering for his team. He's going to get spoiled since the Nebraska folk are pretty nice for the most part. Hopefully at least one person tells him to fuck off so he at least gets a real away game experience.

I'll be driving out from Denver with a good friend today, and will be bringing all the tailgate goodies to set up and enjoy what should be a beautiful day.  This will be my 7th B1G stadium to see Michigan play in.  Can't wait to hopefully high five a few of you before or during the game!

I'm not going to the game  but I've been to Lincoln several times for games and other things.  It is a nice town with really nice folks.  You lucky folks that go to the game should have a very nice game experience.

Nebraska fans are all fired up because Nebraska blew out Northwestern, going on about the "black shirt" defense. They don't know Northwestern lost to Duke or something.

Word of warning for those driving to/from Omaha, watch your speed.

I had to cover a surgery in Lincoln a few years ago when I lived in Chicago. I flew to Omaha and rented a car from there. The surgery didn't go well unfortunately. On my drive back to Omaha I was on the phone getting yelled at by my company's CEO (because he sucked) and didn't notice that the speed limit entering Omaha dropped from like 70 to 55 out of nowhere. I was immediately pulled over and given a ticket. There had to be 5-6 cop cars just waiting to swarm like bees in that specific area.

Needless to say it was not one of my best days. So be careful of these speed traps in that area.

Live in Omaha, but originally from Toledo. Taking my girlfriend to the game (she went to Nerbaska) and I have shaking in my seat all week for this game. First in person game for me since OSU 2019. Gotta watch out for the cops on I-80 both going to the game and coming back. Can't wait for a big win tomorrow. GO BLUE!

Flying out early tomorrow from Chicago and tailgating with my Husker buddy and his crew in the RV lot next to stadium.  HE offered to let me fly my M flag below his Husker flag......any Mgobloggers should come by and say hello!

Go blue!

BursleyHall82 will be there! Flew in yesterday and there were a bunch of other U-M fans on the flight. Hoping to see a ton of maize and blue in the stadium tomorrow night. My youngest daughter is likely going to Nebraska next year (they have the program she wants; U-M doesn't), so my wife and I will probably be making this trip a lot in the next few years. Go Blue!

Flying to Omaha from Atlanta in a couple of hours.  my brother-in-law is a Nebraska grad and ticket holder, and when they joined the B1G way back when we made a deal that when they come to AA, we go together in my seats, and when in Lincoln, he hosts for me.  since then, 3 in my yard, only one in his...until now...

My 2 brothers and I road tripped and got into Lincoln earlier today. Picking our Dad up from the airport later tonight! Section 19 row 87. We're going to try and find a bar with a dart board and play "halves"!!
