I'm sure she's a nice girl and wonderful person, but she is just bad as a sports blogger. As you said all she does is re-hash headlines from ESPN and the like while often making silly mistakes that just scream "PLEASE EDIT ME KTHX." Did Yahoo really think that a (to that point) part-time writer was going to take over the huge enterprise that had become Dr. Saturday and flourish? I don't follow their logic if so. I guess time will tell, but are we really going to see some of the in-depth, maticulously-researched pieces coming out of DocSat that Hinton would crank out with ease seemingly so often? I don't think so. |

They are a very well-written blog with a lot of good, objective analysis. Then you have complete window-lickers like this SpartanMan82 guy (aka beatchumps.com ZOMFG ROFL) commenting on and linking to TOC with classic HUR HUR SCUM SUCKS LULZ all over the place. If TOC was really not like all the other Spartan blogs they'd ban that guy or at least ask him to stop linking to their site. Makes them look just as bad as all the Derrick Nix jocksniffing dipshits out there in the murky Spartan blogosphere. |

Colorado is a team on the rise in a terrible Pac-12 conference -- I would not say that they suck. I do find it interesting, though, that if he was indeed homesick why he is considering going all the way to Colorado. Wherever he ends up I'll be cheering for him all the same. |

It's easy to bully over opponents on the block in college when you generally outweigh all of them and have a more polished game. It's a little harder when each team has two or three guys just as good as you if not better. He's also going to have a rude awakening when he doesn't get every call and then gets T'd up for bitching. NBA refs won't give a f--k that he was a college star when he's just another stiff. This also goes for Draymond Green, though I think he has a better pro future. I suppose Sully could end up being a Paul Millsap, limited athletically and not all that tall but gets 15 and 10 because of relentless effort. I don't see it, though. |
