Former WBB coach Kevin Borseth - who brought the program from the crater of the Cheryl Burnett years - has retired.  He actually voluntarily left Ann Arbor after five good seasons to return to his roots of UW-Green Bay, which allowed us to hire KBA.

Story here:  https://www.msn.com/en-us/sports/other/green-bay-s-kevin-borseth-retires-after-37-year-coaching-career/ar-BB1loNSE?ocid=wispr&pc=u477&cvid=716d4fd626cb4d3b819d351e17e7073c&ei=22

He retires with 821 wins, 15 Horizon League championships, 13 NCAA berths, and this classic meltdown:

...which i share for the comedic value, but also because he, in some ways, really lit the fire that the WBB program needed, and which continues to burn.

ya did good, kevin.

That video is awesome!   Righteous anger, and a doggone thrown in for good measure.   I just boxed out my coworker from the coffee machine.   After watching that video, I couldn't help it.

Happy retirement, coach. He's on that short list of coaches – along with Mike Gundy ("I'm a man! I'm 40!") – who is far better known for one meltdown than for anything they did on the field or court.

I don't think this is off topic but I don't really care and I think I am posting on the thread only because the alternative is to go back to work.

As I recall, may have also been one who didn’t care for working for Dave Brandon, although the KBA hire seemed to be one of the few DB success stories.
