- First half McGary got undercut on a rebound...no foul. Hancock's potential 4th foul was an undercut...no foul (you could include the 'over Burke's back rebound here, also not a foul even though it was kind of the opposite)
- Burke, clean block - foul; on the Hancock undercut, clean block up top - foul (no, this wasn't Dieng. They got the right guy if they ruled the block a foul)
- Pump fakes without a real basketball move to draw contact - foul both times. With a real basketball move ( GR3) - also a foul
- Arm bars for the first 40 feet someone dribbled - never a foul. In the 41st foot - ~3 fouls called. (I'm sure UL was upset at some of these)

Like others, had to move while prices were down Now we have rented it out for 6 years. We have a friend who does a couple of hours of stand-in for us every few years (stopping by the house, meeting a contractor etc). Other than that, we haven't had a need for a leasing company. We have handled repairs over the phone ( ie. call Home Depot home delivery to arrange a water heater installation). Rent paid over PayPal. |

I checked MSU's preseason rank vs. seed vs. tourney run over the past several years. If I remember right, the pre-season rank correlated with their tournament result FAR more than their seed. |

It was a great game of back and forth. UL was one play away from opening a real lead for about 6 minutes from 11:00 remaining to 5:00 remaining, with every time UM made a play to cut it to 2 or 3. With 5:00 to go UL was up 3 going in for the momentum building score when Burke made the block. ...players make plays.... Without that call, the back and forth continues down the stretch. With the call, UL got some momentum, made a number of good plays, and made it a desperate comeback finish instead of what that game deserved. (additional boo, if they called the over the back with 0:50 to go, Burke could have made 2 FTs to cut it to a 2 point game. Woooo, that too could have made for a great finish!) |

Mostly just the 2nd half. And, with the benefit of soberness and a day of perspective, and rewind/slo-mo, the officiating in the 2nd half was just as bad, if not worse, than it seemed at full speed last night. 'For every UL foul that should have been, I think there was one on us that should have been called' - Nope. It's a style thing and a ref thing. Style-wise, they clutch, grab, and challenge everything. I'll agree with you, that the officials chose to let that go, and that is ok. Every game has its own rules, if you will. But the obvious missed calls really were about 10-2 against us. The only one I will 'defend' the refs on, was Hancock's non-4th foul. Yes, they got the wrong guy, but they didn't give it to a player away from the play. They gave it to the guy who made the clean block. The announcers got it wrong; Dieng was up at the foul line contesting the pass. Missed call, but not terrible. They often won't call a foul on a guy laying on the floor. |

But I will be lamenting Trey's block call. Players make plays down the stretch. That was an amazing play. But the call and the subsequent UM miss, led it to being a comeback situation, instead of the heavyweight 12th round spectacular that this game deserved. |
