No.  We sacrificed basketball for football to the sports gods in the Beilein years, and almost (got robbed against Louisville) won a National Title.

We clearly sacrificed basketball for football for the sports gods these past few years, as our worst ever basketball team coincided with our best modern era CFB team and a National Title.

As a UM alumnus and now fan, I have always cared a lot more about football. Basketball and hockey were always fun distractions, but Michigan football has been my religion.

I'd make this trade every year tbh.

I'm watching on TV.  More of the same.  Kudos to the fans who showed up this morning to support the team.  I assume a lot of the men in yellow will not suit up at Crisler again.

I know it’s been a rough season but they should at least let them wear maize.

In all seriousness I do feel for the players. This is their dream and for whatever reason it has been in the gutter this season. Hope they can learn and grow from the adversity where ever they play next season. Oh and that they are taught how to play defense. That would help.

Go Blue!

Michigan and Nebraska both have the exact same number of conference road wins (1), yet Nebrasketball is playing for a double-bye while Michigan is solidly in 14th by 4 full games.

I remember when I was a kid playing youth basketball, one of the first things I learned was how to box out. I can't comprehend why this team hasn't been taught that....Coaching?

This team is a AAU Organization in disguise. No structure, no leadership, all about talking trash and trying to go 1 on 1 with no concept of fundamentals.

I checked the score on ESPN while the game was underway. I believe this means I care but am unwilling to commit.

Or, to steal from the great Brady Hoke, I care, but I don’t fully care.
