His whole story is amazing. He just worked the streets of NY and perfected his work with George. He was on O and A quite a bit and I love the stories about when they would go to break and Ottos would sit there and read the paper and George would be following along like it was no be deal. Sad deal.

Otto was awesome. Funny, funny dude that deserved to be more famous.

I crushed the dreams of "I hate RichRod and everything he did guy" at the Nebraska game. He was screaming about how bad DG is and that he is so glad he is gone after this season. I politely informed him that DG had one more year and he basically said I was crazy/wrong. After finally getting a decent signal in the stadium (how about some wifi DB?), I hate RichRod guy had a big sad.

Lol at the people that think DB is going to fire his buddy clap hands unless there is a complete disaster. While many fans would consider 4 losses pretty bad, that ain't getting anyone fired.

Are you craz........oh

Thank god google is coming to my neighborhood. They are our only hope against these dicks. Wish Apple would find a way into this market. At least my dvr would work.

I still can't believe they gave me this job.

Would still take in a second.

Plus a lot of imaginary iPhone app points to you sir. This made me laugh.

I live in KC, went to KSU. Great school, had a great time, and worked my way to a decent job. My kids will most likely go to KSU as well, again no problem. However, if my son has an opportunity to go to Michigan on a full ride, he is getting paid in my opinion. I most likely won't be able to afford out of state to Michigan. I would love for my kid to get a UM education, but without a scholarship, it isn't happening.
|11 weeks 22 hours ago||/S||
There was some sarcasm in my post but my question still is how would the kids pay dues. Also, I get that NCAA makes money off kids and opinions go both ways on this, but that doesn't mean a union should come in and take dues and make money off of them as well.
|11 weeks 23 hours ago||Dues||
How will the players pay union dues? We all know unions will want dues and someone will be at the front of the line to be the president so he/she can "earn" a nice salary for their "work".
|13 weeks 15 hours ago||News||
That and pretty much any news station, but point taken.
|13 weeks 3 days ago||True||
Seems bizarre. I live in KC and the various stations have hosts that show a bit of bias, but they report pretty much equally on KU, MU, and KSU. I see these Sharp articles and always wonder why they would want half the state to not read them.
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Bizarre||
I just don't understand why Alabama being at the top of the mountain would bring this mess in waiting into the program. I'm glad they did, but I just don't get it.
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Sure||
I get that and it may not have been the best analogy, but my point stands. If you think a change needs to be made and in my opinion had Hoke not made a big change (fire Borges) they should have at least put out feelers for a replacement. This is big boy football. Is it ideal to cut bait after 3 years? No, but is it better to wait 1 or 2 more years?
|13 weeks 4 days ago||Well||
Not saying he should be fired now that he made or was forced to make a significant change to the staff, but the comments about making a change after 3 years being bad is dumb. If a change needs to be made you make it.
|13 weeks 6 days ago||So||
This is good right? I mean, I'm still in shock Hoke made the move and I know nothing about him other than Alabama is pretty good at football. How much did this guy have to do with it? I'm pretty excited based on the stuff I have read so far.
|14 weeks 16 hours ago||Don't think so||
Elite coaches get elite results. Not every year, but most years. Mediocre coaches blame execution and have mediocre records.
|14 weeks 16 hours ago||Great hire||
Guy is a good coach. Took an abysmal program and won a BCS bowl. Living in KC, there aren't too many people that don't wish he was still around. As a KSU grad, I'm pretty glad he isn't at KU anymore.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||Yes||
I completely agree. Need some new blood. It would be nice to hear a UM coach or 2 being rumored for jobs elsewhere.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||Crazy||
Just crazy that he has been with them his entire playing and coaching career. Scroll said he was drafted in1982. That is pretty amazing.
|14 weeks 3 days ago||So||
This "dramatically improved coaching" you speak of. Please explain.
|14 weeks 4 days ago||Lol||
Lol at that Bucks sign.
|14 weeks 5 days ago||Glad you are optimistic||
Someone needs to be. I however am not. My issue is with run blocking. I know there is more to it, but to run block, you get off the ball and push the guy in front of you backwards. UM couldn't get positive yards rushing in several games. Not 1 yard! That is just nuts to me. I know Gardner took some big losses, but some games UM didn't even try that hard to run because they couldn't gain positive yards. I don't know what the answer is, I hope the staff does, but based on the last 2 years I just don't see it.
|14 weeks 5 days ago||Doubt it||
I'm going to go out on a limb and say TX isn't going to hire a .500 MAC/WAC coach.
|14 weeks 5 days ago||Good Points||
I hope you are right, I really do. The main difference I see in Hoke's job at UM so far is that he has trended down instead of up like the last 2 jobs he has had. I know 3 years isn't much of a trend for anything, but in coaching it is. My other issue is that some of the position coaches have been a disaster and if he holds on to everyone out of loyalty or whatever, he deserves what he gets either way (obviously). I appreciate loyalty as much as anyone, but I like wins more.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||I appreciate your optimism||
I wish I could share in it, but I just can't. When you hire a .500 coach, you get what you pay for. I hope he is somehow able to turn the corner, but after seeing little to know improvement throughout the year on both sides of the ball and a blog post today about the staff all being kept (I know it isn't a given yet, but I predict it will be), I think we have a "Michigan Man" as head coach and that's about it.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Over estimate||
I think a lot of people especially around here, over estimate youth too. I was watching a game this week and Palmer and dude from Georgia (name is not coming to me) both said "freshmen playing in a bowl game aren't freshmen anymore. They have had a full season, then an extra few weeks of practice". Now I know it depends, but again, people around here like you have to have a team full of Jr and Sr players to be able to win. I would like to see only a few role playing SR's. When was the last time someone left early for the draft? I know a couple could have (Lewan), but seriously, when was the last time? It's about talent, and having coaches that know have to get the most out of players. UM is getting talent.
|14 weeks 6 days ago||Curious||
Just out of complete curiosity (and some amazement), how could you watch a team not be able to gain a single yard on the ground unless running a reverse and think the O-line played well?
