(positive) Injury Update on Anthony, Henning, etc.
Figured I'd follow-up to the inaccurate thread still hanging on to the first page.
1. Mike Morris is a go, on Tuesday he said he was "95%" and that he is anticipating this game more than any other in his career. He'll be ready. No speculation.
2. There was a comment about 3 WRs being out. Those WRs were Henning, Anthony, and Walker.
It sounded like at least two were sprained ankles, but that is UNCONFIRMED.
However, multiple reports state Henning and Anthony did everything at practice today and they'll be gametime decisions, but both are expected to be available.
Nothing on Walker, who obviously is building every day...but not a key contributor at this point.
3. Oluwatimi, who has been in a boot, has practiced all week. No limitations.
4. Donovan Edwards is a full participant in practice, he has a small cast/splint, but he's carrying the ball in both hands and catching the ball.
5. No update on Ohio St., insiders suggest that they are still butt hurt. We'll see if they can go on Saturday.

I'm not ashamed to say that made me snort laugh out loud.
December 29th, 2022 at 9:36 PM ^
Are they still suffering from ouchies from all the mean things the buckeye faithful are saying to them on Twitter?
December 29th, 2022 at 10:12 PM ^
Podcast said OSU players wanted more NIL money or they would sit the playoff game. Way to go team

And may I have the podcast you are referring to ?

I couldn't bring myself to up nor down vote you, my friend
December 30th, 2022 at 5:39 AM ^
They’re still in mourning over 5 plays. If only they could have those back.
December 29th, 2022 at 8:05 PM ^
Good news. Thanks.
December 29th, 2022 at 8:06 PM ^
there is a video from today's practice of Anthony catching a huge deep ball from JJ and he is running full speed so i don't think his ankle is an issue any longer
December 29th, 2022 at 8:07 PM ^
Thanks for the updates

Olu was in a boot!!!!???????? Wtf
December 29th, 2022 at 8:12 PM ^
They give out boots for everything these days. His heel was probably just sore from stomping on OSU
December 29th, 2022 at 8:19 PM ^
I heard a rumor that all the Ohio State players are running around in their bras and panties 😺 their pussies are aching. Throbbing in fact. They get all hot and bothered thinking about being dominated by Michigan. I would apologize for the gratuitous nature of my comments and the fact that they sound like the comments Ohio State fans would make. I would apologize... To absolutely f****** nobody!!!

I remember being 14.

But do you remember being 3? My twin 3 year old grandsons are funnier with their poop jokes.
December 30th, 2022 at 5:41 AM ^
Never underestimate a good poop or fart joke. My grandkids will laugh till they pass out over a good stinker.

Good god this comment sucks.

Weird shit, man.

I love this update! Especially #5... A subtle dig that is lacking in the 'subtle'. :)
December 29th, 2022 at 8:22 PM ^
Ohio State isn't butt hurt at all. See, if only they wouldn't have allowed those ~5 explosive plays due to how they gambled against us defensively, they would've been right there. Not to mention Jim Knowles doesn't have his guys, the cold, and the flu. Plus, they were tougher than Michigan and UM couldn't run into a 10-man box in the 1st half. Physical. It's also pretty obvious that if their long snapper got the fake punt in, Harbaugh would've been fired on the tarmac (so what if they took a bus, don't let facts get in the way of a good Lane Kiffin comparison) 23-45 minutes after the game. Lastly, Ryan Day's beard looked especially dark, and was in no way, shape, or form enhanced by Just For Men products.
December 29th, 2022 at 8:54 PM ^
Hell, enough with the excuses! We already know Michigan won the game because they stole the signs after the second half! How else do you think Michigan won? Coaching? Players? Strength? Lol, yeah right!
December 30th, 2022 at 5:44 AM ^
Incomplete pass on 1st down
run on 2nd
swing pass on 3rd and 8 for no gain
punt
yep, we stole the signs every time. 11w’s has a thread on how Georgia was secretly recording their practice. Aluminum foil is in short supply in Cbus.
December 29th, 2022 at 9:15 PM ^
Wait, respectfully, I contend you missed a major point.
The sun was out.. it appeared Maize in color. The sky was blue. There was a suspicion of divine intervention in the game. Or, at least that’s something I heard.
December 29th, 2022 at 9:40 PM ^
It’s not fair that football has to be played in snow, I mean skool gets cancelled when it snows and we ain’t even come to play skool! Er I mean the sun, it’s too sunny, ever heard of sun stroke???
December 29th, 2022 at 9:43 PM ^
And if the Game hadn't been cancelled in 2020, everything about 2021 and 2022 would have been different. Apparently, cancelling the rest of the season gave us superpowers that allowed us to start winning Big Ten titles.
Plus we steal signs (although we only learn their meaning at halftime).
December 29th, 2022 at 10:00 PM ^
jm, I’ve mentioned sign stealing before. Santa Ono has a double secret research initiative going across all academic areas supporting the entire Athletic Department.
Rumor has it, the sign stealing will even be applied to Track & Field (the relay races), Swimming & Diving, and possibly - club sports, including Synchronized Swimming.
It’s just the beginning…
December 30th, 2022 at 12:47 AM ^
Ascertain the signs, we will.
Wait until the 2nd half to divine them, we must.
Skeptical of Ryan Day's commitment to toughness, you will be.

I can confirm that OSU are still whiney little babies that need their bottle and a blankie
December 29th, 2022 at 8:29 PM ^
Weather may be a factor in #5, even if it's indoors..
December 29th, 2022 at 8:29 PM ^
There's an interview with Anthony today saying that he's gonna play. I don't think that's gonna be much of a question
December 29th, 2022 at 9:42 PM ^
Anthony related that he had a 'knick-knack'. Must be less severe than an owie.
December 29th, 2022 at 10:22 PM ^
Right in-between a boo-boo and an owie.
December 29th, 2022 at 8:37 PM ^
Any update on exactly how soft Ohio State is?
December 29th, 2022 at 8:49 PM ^
Charmin soft; please refrain from squeezing them.
December 29th, 2022 at 9:20 PM ^
Grendel, I think the reference to Charmin really isn’t fair. There needs to be a bit more specificity. For instance - their play on offense and defense is different.
It’s actually good there are multiple varieties of Charmin. My perspective is that these two varieties apply. Charmin Ultra Soft, and Charmin Ultra Gentle. You can reach your own conclusion about which variety reflects a specific unit.
December 29th, 2022 at 10:37 PM ^
If they were Charmin, they could keep Stroud’s ass clean.
December 30th, 2022 at 6:06 AM ^
Charmin leaves dingleberries - just sayin'
December 29th, 2022 at 10:39 PM ^
To be fair......soft as ten-ply.
December 29th, 2022 at 8:50 PM ^
I regret that I can only give you +1 for the quite unexpected, but brilliant and hilarious, last update
December 29th, 2022 at 8:52 PM ^
SIAP elsewhere. I watched a bit of this practice video from 247 today which has quite a bit of footage in it. A few of the names mentioned above active throughout. Also some early views of the EEs and Davis Warren slinging it if you like watching backup QBs toss like i do.
