I feel iike I'm taking crazy pills when I see CJ ranked so low. Totally get that a guy without the production isn't going to be a 1st or 2nd round pick but this dude has all the tools. I don't see a perennial Pro Bowler here but I do see a damn good player who can punish defenses whose CB2 isn't dynamic
Also, I do wonder if Braiden should have come back. I know nothing about his or his family's needs or goals and he doesn't owe us anything but just pure draft stock wise, I think another year would have made him a second round guy at worst. But in any case, hope he proces me wrong and gets picked tomorrow!
I got two of my favorite Michigan hooded sweatshirts at Goodwill. They both looked and felt brand new (now I'm wondering if there was a sad story about why there just happened to be two pristine medium Michigan sweatshirts there at the same time)
Those discount stores like Marshalls etc often have Michigan gear (assuming you're instate)
Places like Kohls and Target and Meijer's might be worth checking out as well. And I know Dick's Sporting Goods had a big sale after the National Championship
I think he started prioritizing getting “Harbaugh guys”. He’s also in his element.
And I do think he softened a bit. I had heard he was going through some things a few years ago and the last three years sure seemed like he was looser (winning will help with that of course)
Craig is great and he self deprecates though without weirdo hate posts like this.
His one on one segments with Sam during Covid were wonderful and I wish they had found a way to continue them after they brought the full round table back
I think the fact that his legal team said anything at all probably means he needs a better legal team. @popehat is a California criminal defense attorney, been listening to him for years now. No idea how good an attorney he is but he does do a good job telling people to shut the fuck up in any and all media
I love Barry (obviously) but I do not think he’d be a good recruiter. He seems like a very sweet man and I’ll bet the parents would be very taken with him but he’s not the kind of charismatic that wins over most high school kids
Very funny to me to hear the AD try to sound smart about “analytics” when they just ended up making the most obvious hire since OSU got Urban
In any case, I’m not quite as cynical about Saban as some (though I do understand why many are rolling their eyes at this). I do think it’s much harder to manage college kids who always have short term goals ahead of long term ones
Saved the 2021 Nebraska game. Heck of a player who stuck around after having to take a prep year, switching positions, an MIA position coach and 2020. So glad for guys like him who got payoff for all the shit they had to go through
I've said it before and I'll say it again, he's the reason I fell in love with Michigan football. I came to campus in 06 barely knowing anything about the team (I was an NFL guy back then a probably couldn't name more than 5-10 players in the history of Michigan football). Seeing the little running back wearing #20 was a good fit for me and his passion off the field was magnetic.
I think there’s use for a term the differences what are signing bonuses and what NIL was “supposed” to be, that is, endorsement deals, autograph/gear sales etc
Hate to pick at fresh wounds but the 49ers and the crowd were clearly feeding off each other in the second half of the NFC championship last week. It sounded absolutely electric through the TV
I do remember him, especially since Devin called him the ugliest teammate he ever had on Sam’s show. Seemed kind of harsh but apparently it comes from love haha
I’m really not sure why anyone would want to go into politics right now. No matter if you’re left or right it’s an absolutely miserable field to work in right now
The only concern I have is if Bama meets Iowa in the postseason. The amount of injuries Alabama due to Iowa knowing their signs would sustain is horrifying to contemplate

This year he’ll reach his ceiling for sure
Saban is the last guy I would suspect of giving a shit about graying
For real???
I hoped they found the Febreze
Totally. This is exactly backwards. He WILL add to your culture no matter what. Your job is to decide if he'll mesh with your scheme

Seth, I’ve always wondered, what happened to the little joke in Carl’s intro about “what’s the difference between recorded and prerecorded”?

Michael Jackson was arrested and tried for child sexual abuse. It was a whole big thing. In all the papers
I hear Jeremy Bonderman’s Chang up has been looking good too
Who’s Brutus?
Yeah I think the “Jim Harbaugh is hard to work with” thing is probably but exaggerated
Both Moore and Gattis have teared up talking about him
Poggi and Partridge both came back to work with him. Both have also supported him while at other jobs, CP at Ole Miss and Biff at Charlotte
He brought Jesse, Clink, Elston and Herbert with him to LA. Drevno followed him a few times. Weiss was set to follow him to the Vikings
This isn’t to say he’s a dream boss for everyone but there are a lot of people who do thrive working with him

That’s Tom Loy’s song
“I fucking love you man. This is for you!”
Right? I’m surprised some team hasn’t scooped Alex up. Dude knows ball. Don’t think this site has had a better talent evaluator

Jesus that’s awful. One of my favorite players (not that it matters). Blessings to all those who loved him
So why fire Juwan then?
…
Right? Same with Clink
Clink TELLS THE PLAYERS he’s coming back. Sam reports it
Clink changes his mind. “Omg Sam’s such a fraud”. Give me a break
We’re just so caught up in the minutiae and getting frustrated
Had a legendary set at the Bacon roast too

Wishing you the best Coach
He’s dead, he’s locked in my basement
We have the most insufferable fanbase in college football and it’s not close
He's doing his job. What's sadistic about that?
I wish Sherrone was as smart as you are. Its a wonder he's able to tie his shoes on his own without your expert guidance
I think there’s use for a term the differences what are signing bonuses and what NIL was “supposed” to be, that is, endorsement deals, autograph/gear sales etc
Never suggested that he went on the road the way coaches do. But he absolutely did recruit and he was.a huge loss
How? The NCAA just jammed him up over over above board COL money
I did! He didn't take it easy on Mark
This simply isn't true. Courtney Morgan was not a coach and he was perhaps the most effective recruiter Harbaugh ever had.
Insane

My mom is a huge fan of Kelly Ripa (as am I to be honest) so I know way more about Michigan wrestling than I ever did when I was on campus haha
I do remember him, especially since Devin called him the ugliest teammate he ever had on Sam’s show. Seemed kind of harsh but apparently it comes from love haha
That is indeed a very cool find but a very disturbing story. Who fucking punches someone over a bunk bed at a camp?
Mike Macdonald played zero (0) snaps above high school and was 33 when he was hired here as DC.
If you know ball it doesn’t really matter how much you played
I’m really not sure why anyone would want to go into politics right now. No matter if you’re left or right it’s an absolutely miserable field to work in right now
Grant made the right choice
“With all the bad news lately”?
The only bad news I can think of right now is Herbert leaving. Am I missing something?
(not counting Harbaugh leaving since we knew there was a good chance he’d go back to the league)
This is a perfectly reasonable post. You won’t be Boliviaed, you’re fine. I’m also curious to start seeing some current players’ reactions
If his name wasn’t Harbaugh he already would be a coordinator somewhere
Someday? Bro you earned that title, at the latest, when you won two consecutive Joe Moore Awards
If beating OSU doesn’t make you a Michigan man then nothing does
Best of luck to your son and all the other applicants!
I’m a little confused why this is “early” though. I was accepted in Sept/Oct of my senior year though that was back in 05. What’s changed?
The only concern I have…
No
The only concern I have is if Bama meets Iowa in the postseason. The amount of injuries Alabama due to Iowa knowing their signs would sustain is horrifying to contemplate
Is Aidan’s unjustly overturned td included?
Franz deserves some love here, as well as Darius
But JP should get the one seed for calling that lunatic Draymond “an expensive backpack for Steph Curry”
