I feel like I'm being punked.  Why would you use two-letter abbreviations for names, coaching positions, AND US states?  This is actually comical.

Yes.

There are approximately 110 players on a college football team in the off-season, not counting non-players who are referenced (of which I noted at least one quickly). There are approximately 10 coaches/assistant coaches on a college football team. There are approximately 10 positions in football. There are 50 US states.

You wrote a post referencing all ~180 of these distinct entities with 2 letter combos and extremely little contextual data, which can only imply that you're trolling. So you get my down vote.

Took a minute to figure out MD... that feels like years ago at this point.

PS: Xavier Worthy might actually be the reason we have a new recruiting department, OC, and Director of recruiting operations.  Sounds like the whole thing may have been Matt Dudek's fault, which got him transferred (wink). It really pissed off Josh Gattis, who apparently let everyone in his wake know about it, and pissed off some of the wrong people within the football program and administration.

Appreciate the info! I just have to know why Clink is Cink and not SC?

I like Mike Sainristil, but if a coach told me, in my senior yr I should switch positions, after the yr he just had, I would transfer. He will not play a down as a DB.

That’s all good and well, but I think most of us want to know about JJM and CM… what’s the scuttlebutt? Who’s getting most reps? What about BC and DE and AA? 

I really like what I’ve seen from Morris. Definitely think he’s set to be a starter or getting starter snaps (Jenkins as well).

Hopefully the same goes for Welschof, but it’s tough to see a guy with this much experience make a leap to go from what he was (pass rush DT) to a starter snap EDGE.

Harbaugh had Richard Sherman switch from WR to CB at Stanford maybe he knows Mikey Sainristils  is told path to the league is on D.

Figuring out who the initials are referencing is almost as fun as playing Wordle.

It’s MD’s fault that JG got friendly with XW’s mom and that caused XW to transfer, MD to get canned, JG to leave to join MC’s staff, and MW and SM to be co-OC’s?

Was I the only one that assumed Victor O was going to be an upgrade at center? Nothing against Vastardis. He was a very pleasant surprise. But VO was a Rimington Finalist last year. That is a different level.

The best part about this season, for me anyway, will be watching two stud QB's distribute the ball to the plethora (yes, plethora) of receiving talent.  And it's not just the WRs.  It's RBs and TEs too.  Loaded.

There was heavy doubt Sainristil was actually switching positions but it seems to be true. Mental note on whoever rumored that initially. Also an odd move. I know WR is logjammed but Sainristil was a great blocker and had made some awesome catches last year. I hate to miss out on that talent
