Downvoted for than.

No joke. A SMALL order of boneless wings now costs $12(!) at BW3s. I used to go twice a month about 10 years ago, but now it only happens once or twice a year when someone else chooses the restaurant.

06/16/2018 - 7:59am Out of curiosity, what …

Out of curiosity, what "shortcomings" are bothering you? I'm just trying to get used to the new look/navigation, but I don't have many complaints other than that the new site is just...different.

05/22/2018 - 8:37am That's what I enjoyed about

That's what I enjoyed about it. Did he need the money? Of course! But he was so determined, to a fault, to prove that he could hit that shot when everyone doubted him. It was vindication for him. Besides, I think he actually came to accept/find some pleasure in his lifestyle.

05/14/2018 - 7:56am What the hell do you even

What the hell do you even talk about during those four phone calls? I'm guessing topics of conversation must be limited to what he learned in chemistry today, how good the bosco sticks were, how many fortnite kills he has, or if he thought the new girl was cute. I just don't get that approach, but I'm also not a big time D-I college football recruit.

05/09/2018 - 11:59am Correct. I found it

Correct. I found it interesting that the recruits mentioning age actually thought Jim was younger, which can't be a bad thing.

05/07/2018 - 8:03am Men at Work by George Will,

Men at Work by George Will, Three Nights in August by Buzz Bissinger, and Is This A Great Game or What? by Tim Kurkjian are all very good reads.

04/17/2018 - 8:47am It's not even necessarily the

It's not even necessarily the "Toledo area" competition that is weak...his school is D-IV, I believe, and it is in a BAD conference. I'm assuming you saw him playing AAU or something similar though? That should alleviate some of those competition concerns, I would imagine.

I'll definitely be listening for his name in the future. Thanks for the update.

03/16/2018 - 11:08am The slang term for it is

The slang term for it is "Texas Freshman." Many parents are electing to hold their children back a year in hopes of capitalizing on athletic opportunities down the road. It's pretty silly.

03/12/2018 - 1:10pm I hope you're right

I hope you're right because that is identical to mine.

03/09/2018 - 8:03am I'm an assistant baseball

I'm an assistant baseball coach at a school of about 650 kids that plays in a conference in which at least 3 other schools have 1200+ students. We're small and have not had much/any athletic success in the past 10 years aside from a conference wrestling title.

I went into the season thinking we'd have a good year if we went .500. The guys ended up setting a school record for wins, defeating the No. 1 ranked team in D2, and made it to the state semi-finals in Columbus. The school sent the team down in a charter bus, we had a police escort out of town, and our practices that last week were filled with media interviews.

Those boys worked so hard, believed in one another, and just found ways to win games. It was freaking incredible. Hope your community gets to celebrate soon!

02/26/2018 - 8:26am I have just recently started

I have just recently started drinking scotch and was at an airport bar when I saw a Macallan. I'd heard good things, so I ordered one, which turned out to be the 18. It was a little too big for me, and I was shocked when I saw the $23 it ran me. It's not a scotch I would recommend starting with, but what do I know?

I have about 4 different scotches in my cabinet at the moment, and am enjoying the Glenmorangie 10 and the Balvenie DoubleWood. Sampling a few different ones in a night can be really helpful in determining which one you like the most. It is always very clear to me which one I prefer after trying 2-3.

I was exclusively a beer drinker, and am having fun with getting into scotch. Good luck, and enjoy!

02/05/2018 - 1:08pm Because they'll be less

Because they'll be less likely to leave for a job at another school in a week.

/s...kind of.

01/17/2018 - 8:35am Just bought a 30" J. Tyler

Just bought a 30" J. Tyler and Co. clock for above my fireplace. Just had a break-up, so I'm having to replace a bunch of decor and have no clue what I'm doing, but it's a pretty slick looking clock.

01/17/2018 - 8:31am Play catch

Lots and lots of catch. It's time spent that you'll never regret. Also, keep a ball wrapped in it when it's not being used.

01/17/2018 - 8:04am Question for you about the

Question for you about the Sig. I have a P250 and the trigger pull is way too long for my liking. How is it on the P320? I'm in the market for an upgrade.

01/02/2018 - 4:33pm Agreed. I love what Mike

Agreed. I love what Mike Gundy did when he hired his OC. Have somebody run numbers on offenses around the country across various levels, match that up with preferred style/tempo, and start setting up meetings. If a dude at a JC in Oklahoma fits the mold and passes the Harbaugh eye-test, then bring him on board.

01/01/2018 - 8:44pm The RR team that played Miss

The RR team that played Miss St. gave up. That was the first time I've ever turned a game off. But this was bad.

01/01/2018 - 8:13pm And he was the best at it.

And he was the best at it. That is a terrible argument. Go kick rocks with that crap.

12/27/2017 - 7:47am So out of curiousity, what

So out of curiousity, what should someone who likes Oberon sample to branch out to find something better, but similar in the "summer beer" sense?

12/24/2017 - 11:47am Where are you seeing that

Where are you seeing that Howard is out? Her wasn't on the injury report this week and no one is reporting that.

12/24/2017 - 11:43am Apparently he did it last

Apparently he did it last year against Diggs, which is the only time it's happened. They'd be smart to have him shadow Shepard, but I'm not sure what the plan is. I also fear Pittsburgh will jump on Houston and abandon the pass game early.

12/24/2017 - 11:40am Trust me, I felt the same

Trust me, I felt the same way. I had Rodgers and Cousins, but all of the rankings had Keenum top 10. Sometimes you just have to stick with what you know.

12/24/2017 - 11:22am I was until I had to start

I was until I had to start Keenum last night and he shit the bed. Howard is so hit or miss, so it's hard for me to trust him.

Peterson could shadow Shepard, and Martavius is probably boom or bust too.

12/24/2017 - 11:18am Rich man problems, huh? I'm

Rich man problems, huh? I'm not even sure what to tell you. I think KC realizes that Hunt is how their offense moves...but I'm not sure how you sit the others either.

12/21/2017 - 11:21am I actually thought the

I actually thought the opposite. Kinda in a "Chase will be excited to tell you that he's coming back to do something special here." Hopefully it's good news, but I suppose it is impossible to decipher based on that quote.

12/20/2017 - 11:15am Magnus also posted a list of

Magnus also posted a list of guys who are at least expected to sign today.

http://touch-the-banner.com/whos-signing-national-letter-intent-today/

12/20/2017 - 10:00am Definitely agree that he

Definitely agree that he wouldn't take that role back at UM, but when should we expect a resolution (or confirmation of) to our offensive coaching staff assignments. Is it still considered likely or possible that either Drevno or Hamilton will not return? I'd assume we would find out shortly after the bowl game, but what are everyone's expectations?

12/16/2017 - 8:28pm Me likey

What gives us the edge, out of curiousity? Past teammates, legacy kid, verbal Michigan lean?

12/13/2017 - 10:00am Oh, you mean Sexual

Oh, you mean Sexual Chocolate!

12/11/2017 - 11:13am Good stat, but I don't think

Good stat, but I don't think Biggio was first-ballot deserving either. That was more a lifetime achievement award. The writers over-romanticized his career.

12/10/2017 - 7:17pm Good thing nobody asked you!

Good thing nobody asked you!

12/09/2017 - 10:18pm I love the fact that him and

I love the fact that him and Vic are going to be on the same team in our conference. It makes me feel awkwardly excited and nervous...kinda like when I touched my first boob.

12/07/2017 - 11:46am Minus at National

Minus at National Championship. I'd agree on your other points, but I don't think he'll be able to win it all, which separates him from Carr by a significant margin based on that alone.

12/06/2017 - 7:47pm It doesn't read as well on

It doesn't read as well on paper as it sounds out loud. Let's try this one...tomato tomato. Any better?

12/04/2017 - 5:16pm Lavar Ball is a douche. The

Lavar Ball is a douche. The end.

12/01/2017 - 7:28am I'm not sure that Leach

I'm not sure that Leach simply moving to TN would cause many 4/5 star recruits to sign with the Vols. I know it's SEC territory, but it catches me more as a Rich Rod at Michigan scenario in regards to the type of players he would continue to pursue.

11/30/2017 - 7:25am Probably jealousy

Tee won a NC and Peyton didn't

11/29/2017 - 11:07am This was my childhood. I woke

This was my childhood. I woke up early every mornining to watch SC and loved the anchors back in the mid to late 90's. Now...not so much.

11/29/2017 - 9:08am What is your initial take,

What is your initial take, Magnus?

11/29/2017 - 8:51am I agree. There is nothing

I agree. There is nothing exciting about this matchup. A co-worker of mine is a big Gamecocks fan, so I got to hear about their games each week. Bentley is a pretty decent young QB, but they don't have many play makers.

11/28/2017 - 11:02am There was also a point after

There was also a point after a punt was downed at midfield that an official picked up the ball and just decided to move the ball back a yard...it was the most blatant of the bunch because it required no objectivity.

11/27/2017 - 3:59pm My bad. Went over my head.

My bad. Went over my head. However, I find it hard to believe how many people exist that honestly believe some of the incredibly stupid things they pass along...counterstrike guy is a good example. Sorry for lumping you into that category.

11/27/2017 - 12:32pm I agree with your last point,

I agree with your last point, but I find it awful hard to believe Pep Hamilton had much influence on when and where to play Notre Dame.

11/27/2017 - 11:14am And I downvoted you again for

And I downvoted you again for bitching about it!

11/27/2017 - 11:06am The draft waters?

He plays hard, but c'mon.

11/26/2017 - 8:04pm Yeah, it doesn't worry me. I

Yeah, it doesn't worry me. I was honestly just hoping to inspire someone to post the video of him on the treadmill.

11/26/2017 - 6:43pm Did anyone else notice the

Did anyone else notice the Vic Viramontes to Minnesota prediction? That'd be...something.

11/26/2017 - 6:41pm Toledo the city, or the

Toledo the city, or the University of Toledo?

11/25/2017 - 6:27pm The way he appeared to give

The way he appeared to give up on a few plays is what really set me off. At least two times I noticed him seemingly give up on a play once he missed a tackle/took a bad angle. Inexcusible.
