Couple of random thoughts

Submitted by ldevon1 on

I don't remember who mentioned the Snapchat recommendation, but that was money. I'm an old guy so I really won't participate in the whole Snapchat thing, but following the football team is gold. I just saw a Snap of Big Mike O, next to Caesar Ruiz, and man Mike looks good, and so does Ruiz. I suggest people use this app, it's pretty cool.

Right. By my count there were four, and they were not random, in the sense that they are all interconnected around the basic topic of this so-called "Snap Chat." But in order to answer this question we need working definitions of "couple" and "thoughts"

I would say that "couple" generally carries the denotation of "two," as in "they make a lovely couple," or "I saw a couple of kids cubing pineapple randomly."

"Thoughts" is a little trickier because it could mean any idea, whether or not it is an opinion about something. However, other definitions include this notion of an opinion.

So with that, I submit that there were four thoughts in the OP because each of them contains an opinion (bolded below):

  • "I don't remember who mentioned the Snapchat recommendation, but that was money."
  • "I'm an old guy so I really won't participate in the whole Snapchat thing, but following the football team is gold."
  • I just saw a Snap of Big Mike O, next to Caesar Ruiz, and man Mike looks good, and so does Ruiz.
  • "I suggest people use this app, it's pretty cool."

Conclusion: four non-random thoughts. Terrible title to your post, OP.

It has a pull tab and the pineapples are already cubed.

Also, as and Old Guy, I totally get the OP and follow his non-random thoughts.  Still don't have SnapChat and will probably get it after the fall camp - only to be disappointed that I missed all the fun.

Not to mention that oatmeal, while good for you takes like wet paper unless you load it up with brown sugar, fruit or something.  And Ricky Leach would've been fun to watch in RichRod's offense.   Never particularly liked Chryler cars but you have to admidt the 426 hemi, especially in a 70 Cuda, was lethal on the street.

Also, while people talk about Godfather 1 & 2 being all time great movies the third one stunk to high heavens - why is that?   Lastly, I dont agree with people like my brother who say Denard should've been moved to RB and wasnt really a QB.  I think he did just fine and would love to have him back there right now.

Youth and inexperience will be a problem for this team, especially early on this season.  I think we'll go 9-3 to be honest.   I hate carrots.

I would probably read an individual OP on each of those topics.  Especially the carrots one.

There was an episode of Gilligan's Island where they had radioactive veggies.  Mary Ann saw a boat miles away because she had some radioactive carrots.  I eat carrots now because of that episode.  True story.

People love to $#!t on the 3rd Godfather...I didn't hate it. Granted, not as good as the first 2 but those are some of the best movies ever made. It was...good (IMO). Certainly not great, but an entertaining movie.

not enough doggie tongues and ears for me.  At  least a few martian sized foreheads with baby chins or something.

Get with it Michigan Football Snap!

Here is how it's done:

Shoutout to the guy with the Snapchat suggestion. Love getting a chance to see our team. Saw Big Mike and Caesar Ruiz on there. They look B1G ready right now! Anyways, there are a couple position battles along the OL. Which OL combination do you think is better for the 2017 season?

Cole-Bredeson-Krugler-Onwenu-Runyan

Cole-Bredeson-Ruiz-Onwenu-Stueber/Filiaga

For me I'd like to go with Krugler/Runyan. Experience helps along the OL, and as we saw with Cole and Bredeson, Freshman have a hard cap on their ability.

Also, which young position group performs better in your mind? WR or the Secondary? I think there are too many bodies available in that WR group to not be great this season.

DISCUSS.
