Burt Reynolds played at one of the Florida schools, think it was Florida St.

Terry Crews played at WMU before his pro career, and (presumably) before he was sexually assaulted by a hollywood exec (who the fuck sexually assaults Terry Crews and doesnt die?).

When we're talking about how many stars one has, what exactly should I be looking at?
I have one star under the "overall" on the left. I also have one star next to karma, one star next to awards, 2 next to turns played, and five next to links explored?
I'm assuming it's the overall I should be looking at, but cant figure out how to move it to two?

I'm sure the 6'7" guy that you cut blocked to death in high school is exactly the same as this other 6'7" guy because all 6'7" guys possess the same athleticism.

05/10/2018 - 11:06pm I know you embrace the sky is falling schtick, but

I know you embrace the sky is falling schtick, but we haven't had many problems handling OSU's line the last several years. Our issues were with QBs making terrible decisions and holding onto the ball entirely too long. Eliminate one, or both of those issues, and Harbaugh is 2-1 against them with the exact same line.

05/10/2018 - 11:00pm Dollars to donuts that any team in the country

Dollars to donuts that any team in the country would take, and start, Black and DPJ with a guarantee of at least two more years of having them on the field. I'd say the same for Higdon, although he may not be a guaranteed starter at 10 to 15 schools. Evan's is a step behind, but hes an extremely serviceable 125 or so carries for the season.
Gentry and/or McKeon both have the ability to change games in a hurry, particularly when they're not the only threat on the field.
My issue is with your usage of the word "problems". I dont see many "problems", with the exception of the tackle spots. Obviously, all of the spots are also codependent. If even one of them gets rolling (please be the line), the rest will synchronously step forward. This team doesnt need a miracle at one spot. With Shea in the fold, I'm much more confident that the pieces can, and will, come together quickly.

Problems? What problems are you speaking of? We have question marks at tackle, maybe the other tackle, and quarterback (until a couple of weeks ago).
I can't think of another position on the field that is any worse than a B-, and those are few and far between.
No team in college football is built to perfection year in and year out. The machine that is bama is replacing their entire secondary, nose guard, kicker, punter, and are probably going to be very thin at QB within the next few weeks.
We have a very, very, good team. It's ok to think that and still appreciate that we might drop a couple of games (or win all of 'em).

05/02/2018 - 2:36pm I'm not sure I watched the

I'm not sure I watched the same OSU game, but our offense wasn't "effective" by any stretch of the imagination. The gameplan, however, was incredibly effective. We just didn't have a quarterback capable of executing that gameplan.
You totally lost me when you suggested that we would have won/lost games based on the predictability of the offense. We lost a bunch of games last year because we didnt have a qb and/or a line to protect him. If we have either one of those last year, its probably a 1-2 loss team (PSU and ?).

This is just dumb. Are we allowed to be hype after we beat Notre Dame? Would that count as a meaningful road game, or do we have to wait until late October when we go to East Lansing?
This is a talented team. As talented, if not more talented, than every team on our schedule. Vegas has us with the fifth best odds to win a national championship, despite playing the most difficult schedule in the country.
I'm not going to wait until we walk out of the horseshoe with a W to get excited about it, because the season will be 90% complete at that point. I'm not going to temper my enthusiasm because you've been disappointed in the past. So pump your brakes all you want, but pardon me if I keep the throttle wide open.

I dont think it's fair to say that he turns the ball over a lot. He has a career 2:1 Td to interception ration. He threw 6 picks all of last year, with 5 of them coming in games that his team was getting clobbered and he was forced to throw the ball against teams that knew he was throwing the ball. He has a career 141 QB rating.
For comparison, our QBs last year combined for

I think you missed the point. They're intentionally undermining the playoff. Furthermore, the best thing that can happen to UCF would be the NCAA mandating that they remove the banner. The publicity that would create would only bring more attention to their cause.

In order to promote the Big 10 and create some better matchups, why can't the home and home matchups include the top 7 teams from the previous year?

04/19/2018 - 10:39am I dont understand your assessment of the offense.

I dont understand your assessment of the offense. If the receiving corps is as improved as you describe, that will have to be a function of improved QB play and pass protection. We cant/won't have one without the other.
