While I understand this opinion, I completely disagree. If not for branding, it would say 'Regional Championship'. All other NCAA sports aside from football have regional championships. They are a big accomplishment.

Final Four is big branding, so that's what's listed, but Michigan has 2 Regional Championships (with trophies) from Beilein's time

Both parts of that were momentarily real, now just the still very odd MB to NC is left...

I see what you did there

You've been here long enough to see that he is just a new name of Maizen and diagonal. whatever name he chooses he's just an ass, and needs to go. No need to wait around for him to have a better "bannable offense"

12/21/2018 - 12:33pm That's why he became…

That's why he became ineligible? Where'd you get that?

I put in a request for tickets from a vendor who is a major arena sponsor which did not happen...and I'm not terribly upset. This will likely be a bit of a slog game with a likely unfavorable outcome.

11/12/2018 - 9:07am This was our 3rd trip, gone…

This was our 3rd trip, gone each time U-M played. Got tickets through the U-M alumni club of Philly. In addition to NYC & north Jersey there are plenty of us in/around Philly. Only about an hour from home for me. This was the toughest, it really was quite cold. The atmosphere is VERY different from Ann Arbor as has been mentioned (hip hop between almost every down, the STUPID its thiirrrrrdddddd dowwwwwnnnn!!) is terribly annoying. Not a particularly impressive stadium. We sat near their "banners" for all of their "accomplishments" (really bad bowl game appearances and the one Big East title)

Worth a trip if you've never been (and yes you can make a weekend of it in NYC), but for me it is just the ease of a day trip

This was announced yesterday but thanks for posting as typically gametimes are indeed given on Mondays

I live just outside Philly (about an hour away from whatever the stadium is named) and have tickets. Very frustrating to not be able to make plans, arrange child care etc.

I do understand many people like it, but after almost an hour listening I couldn't stand it. I found it terribly boring.

Late to the party here, but I hated the NEW Blade Runner

So even if they that that weird mascot thing become official it wouldn't be half as creepy as the new Flyers mascot, so we're good.

Your description is spot on. This may or may not cause him a lot of symptoms, but repeat trauma to the head/neck area put him at risk for serious complications, including permanent neurological damage.

Yeah I read that the same way as well. Although we'll have a tough October, it isn't due to the start of it.

First, awful news.

I clicked on this thread curious why there were so many comments. Whoa...que the Grandpa Simpson gif...

08/20/2018 - 3:33pm "no evidence his approach…

"no evidence his approach lead to death"?!?

There's a whole report detailing the inadequate nonactions taken by his staff led to his death and multiple reports he created this toxic environment.

Yes it is true we don't have his side of the story, but what would exonerate him? "everybody does it" is BS, and not true. I work with many ATs, many of them who've worked for D1 programs, and they'd never let this occur.

08/06/2018 - 4:33pm The alphanumeric way you've…

The alphanumeric way you've laid out the choices is interesting. If I were a teacher I'd set up my multiple choice exams like that just to mess with the students.

Thank you for bringing our attention back where it belongs, our football coaches nutritional standards. We need more of these and not to focus on the minor issue down in Columbus

Obviously I (nor we) do not have the ability to verify that "source", but wow if true.

Would be refreshing for someone in power to be held responsible for extremely poor decision making and subsequently lying about it.

Couldn't agree more. They also have the basis for a larger car based on the Continental that, to my knowledge, they'll still produce.

Also, does this mean they're out of fleet (police) entirely except for the Explorer?!? They sell thousands of cars for this

03/26/2018 - 9:24am absolutely. This is the 1st

absolutely. This is the 1st time the team has been objectively good since elevation to varsity status

03/20/2018 - 11:57am So (and I suspect this

So (and I suspect this documentary may touch on this) he has another family who is close to him in addition to his mother. She obviously is very involved thinking back to the questionaire she gave to prospective schools.

But (unless the dude I ran into at grocery store wearing Michigan gear is completely lying and had photoshopped pics of his family with RG) there's another family who has been quite involved in his life too. So that may help IRT positive male and family role models

03/19/2018 - 4:52pm YOU doing? YOU doing?

03/05/2018 - 3:40pm I don't believe that is

I don't believe that is accurate. Going from memory of news article so I could be wrong, but echo (an ultrasound of the heart) evaluated the hypertrophy and also noted that the amount of blood expelled from the part of the heart that supplies the body (left ventricle) was not as efficient as a normal heart.

ECHOcardiogram measures the plumbing, ELECTROcardiogram (EKG) measures the electricity-the rhythm of the heart.

02/28/2018 - 10:31am I'd further your point. It'd

I'd further your point. It'd be nice if, at least in basketball (football is always going to be a harder fix), if your first group would be out NCAA. If you are good enough to be pro, want to be pro, go play in a proper minor league like you can do in baseball and hockey. If you want to go to college, commit to it. It doesn't proclude you from playing professionally later. This option will appeal mostly to your middle group-possible pros with development.

I don't reasonable see why the model for baseball and hockey couldn't also work for basketball. the NCAA should not be a (or the really) de facto minor league.

Admitedly, this arguement may not work/apply for football, but fixing one of them would be an huge step

That was my freshman year. I expected continued resutls like that. 15 years later....still waiting

At the end of season football bust, he had everyone there hold hands while Josh Groban "you raise me up" played (& he teared up)

Any little remaining hold he had on the program was lost

02/14/2018 - 2:23pm Looks like my 3 year old will

Looks like my 3 year old will be sharing his name with many younger boys. We chose an "unusual" one as my wife was always one of 3 or so with her name in school. Not unusual much longer...

01/23/2018 - 11:36am yeah I'm not sure I want all

yeah I'm not sure I want all electric. Hybrid sounds more interesting. You have traditional hybrid or plug in (PHEV)?

01/23/2018 - 11:19am So on the talk about anything

So on the talk about anything mode: I just got a car a year ago. It is a traditional ICE family sedan. I don't put a lot of miles so will probably/hopefully have for at least 7-8 years. In that time, I suspect a strong move towards further electricfication.

Any hybrid owners? Any plug in owners? I think I'd be interested in plug in hybrid, as my commute is >10 miles one way and would likely be able to run electric only, BUT would like the gas back up to avoid the worry of being stranded from a drained battery.

I think I'll be similar to many customers in the US, reluctant to go full electric at first, so curious where y'all think this will head here. Some car makes (Volvo, Infiniti) are going full electric quickly, but other markets like China and European cities are demanding that. We certainly aren't, but automakers will have these electric cars so will of course be trying to sell.

What say you?

01/18/2018 - 4:56pm eh I remember Brady Hoke did

eh I remember Brady Hoke did a mea culpa for thinking he could build on the DL success from the 1997 season and blaming himself for the start of the '98 season (specifically the loss to Syracuse). He didn't appreciate that he needed to (re)emphasize the fundamentals and learned from that. This could be that, a recognition of what he needs to do better. I have no problem with that.

01/16/2018 - 8:51am Teske will be a Junior next

Teske will be a Junior next year.

Wagner would be a Senior if he stays (admittedly unlikely). But as noted above, his replacement would be a Junior

12/13/2017 - 11:43am This. While I do NOT think it

This. While I do NOT think it is as good as its predecessors, it is a good movie in its own right. GF3 biggest problem is the name. People expected it to be one of the greatest movies of all time, which the first 2 are, and it just couldn't live up to that
