It stinks as a fan because he was fun as hell to watch but can’t blame him a bit. It’ll be interesting to see what we do with the scholarship Franz leaves open should he actually declare. I know everyone keeps talking about the pg spot but I think we need to look at a 2-3 from the portal. We lost Brown and most likely Franz and Livers from the wing spots.

Well poop. But I can’t blame him. The man wants to go get paid. Can’t ever fault him for that.

Best of luck, Chaundee, and thank you for everything you did for the team. Without you this team doesn’t have a Big Ten title. It doesn’t beat OSU in Columbus. It doesn’t get past LSU in the Round of 32. Chaundee, you more than earned your place. Michigan was damn lucky to have you.

This makes me sad. He might be my favorite player ever and he only played 1 season. You can feel his passion, man!

First, Brown was more valuable to the team than I dared imagine he'd be. I'll always be fan and wish him the best. He was a lot of fun.

Second, I wonder whether the coaching staff will now look for forwards in the portal.

Has a better shot than Livers at getting drafted at this point, but we kind of expected him back and not Livers. A college title is great and everything, but these guys know what the grind is like. It's pretty likely they would get close again next year; but how long can you stay in college?

Shame we didn't get the tourney run at full strength, although I dont think any of us expected to win it all. And I, for one, was not getting excited about another runner-up finish so my heart didn't break after UCLA (or osu in B1G tourney).

There was a small part of me that got butterflies the way we got into the Sweet 16 over LSU with NBA talent, but a lesser team. Then the women also made it and were in San Antonio. The dreamer in me envisioned driving down from Dallas to be among our kin with the women in the finals watching us win it in San Antonio where in 18 I made the same trek. That overtime loss to Baylor was oh so symbolic and resigned me just a tad, even though I hoped they were mutually exclusive. Alas, they were not because we cannot have nice things apparently.

Not super surprised... disappointed, but thought this would be the way things would fall.

Thanks to Chaundee! It was awesome to see him in the Maize and Blue - I knew from how the team reacted to him getting immediate eligibility, this kid was going to fit right into the program.

Best of Luck on the next stage of your career!

Hard to see him go, but absolutely wish the best for him. I can definitely see him showing out for a G-league squad and then making an NBA roster in a few years. Chaundee was probably the most important player for his high effort, excellent shooting, tenacity on the boards and defense, and his positivity!

Good luck Chaundee and hope for great success for you!

We need one of Zeb, Collins, bufkin to be able to handle the other guard spot. All three have top 100 recruiting profile and will benefit a lot from Eli returning (if indeed he does) from a leadership standpoint. We will probably add someone to the portal but people are under selling the young guys we will have on the roster especially given team will run through hunter (assuming he is back as well).

Dammit. I wanted him to come back out of pure selfishness. I love this kid: his energy, his hustle, his absolute confidence in his ability to hit every three he took - just everything.

I said this once before, but it bears repeating: There's only two things wrong with Mr. Brown: We only had him for one year, and he doesn't have a twin brother who plays football.

Good luck, my son. Wherever you go, kick some ass.
