I was thinking Anderson was…

I was thinking Anderson was from Georgia so he could always go there with Rooths if that’s where he ends up. Anderson was the one I was really excited about seeing here, despite the coaching.

Touché

Touché, unless it was push button start.

Lack of EI and most likely a drinking problem.

Average is 80 times

I feel like the real key…

I feel like the real key here is the fact he’s been employed for merely 10 days. The average drunk driver operates intoxicated 80 times before getting caught. So, either he has a serious drinking issue or he lacks in quality decision making. My guess is that it is a combination of the two. Considering he’s been employed for 10 days, if I was Warde I would can him. For me, there isn’t an upside here. He’s too much of a liability and we’ve had too much assistant coach scrutiny lately. If he’s already owning up to it, he’s going to plead guilty, so there aren’t any other circumstances to consider with this one.

Purely from a football perspective. First year head coach needs his coaches for his first spring practice and this dude is out getting arrested. Now they will go through spring practice without him.

He’s not watching, that’s…

He’s not watching, that’s the problem. Dude is at the buffet line while the basketball program has crumbled around him.

Hicks shooting 6-10 from…

Hicks shooting 6-10 from three, probably should guard him or something.

Quite the disparity at the…

Quite the disparity at the line for a neutral site game. 21-7

I feel for you, watching it…

I feel for you, watching it on tv was bad enough!

Remember the time Wisconsin…

Remember the time Wisconsin ran the ball 27 straight times against us and as a fan you felt demoralized? Well that’s how I feel watching our basketball team, their complete failure to even resemble organized basketball is demoralizing.

Juwan is all about setting…

Juwan is all about setting records, just not the type of records we want

Considering Juwan was…

Considering Juwan was talking about the off-season and what changes they were gonna make for next year the other day, I’d say they probably weren’t too invested in this game. Hard to define which game exactly would be the statement game under Juwan.

Nope, just can’t do it this…

Nope, just can’t do it this year. Our team has sucked all of the basketball joy out of me. Haven’t watched double digit games for our own team, much less other programs. I don’t know how you do it, but I give you credit for being able to stomach it. This will be the first time I can remember where I will not be pacing waiting for all the ncaa tournament games to kick off. Juwan has found a way to kill all my joy towards my favorite sport, and I’ve been through the Ellerbe, Amaker and early Beilein years.

Still no official word on…

Still no official word on Morgan and BJM. For the life of me, I have no idea why it takes so long to get these people hired. If this is the new normal, it’s gonna be fun every off-season or so when someone leaves and we have to spend two months worth of recruiting time to hire someone. Hopefully this is all a go when the portal opens so they can hit it running and try to add some key additions to the roster.

I’m just trying to imagine…

I’m just trying to imagine what Beilein could get out of Cheddar and YoYo. Those two would be completely different players under him.

How do you know? Maybe he…

How do you know? Maybe he was propped up by Beilein. Unless Juwan is a dictator, none of these coaches seem overly proficient at their jobs.

Then his entire staff needs…

Then his entire staff needs to go if Warde doesn’t have the balls to fire Juwan. Eisley was a pg in the NBA so if he can’t recruit and coach talented guards then he needs to go too. I think Saddi was propped up by Beilein and Martelli is way beyond his best years. The lack of roster construction, lack of fundamentals and defense is on the entire staff. I’m afraid Warde is going to give Juwan a pass by bringing in a different staffer or two.

Yeah, it’s more like Amaker…

Yeah, it’s more like Amaker. We were hoping it would work out but it didn’t. We hired Beilein and he fixed the mess prior to Juwan tearing it back down.

Why is it always the ex…

Why is it always the ex Michigan staff and players  who always seem to go publicly against their former school? Coaches and players leave all over the country and you never see this shit, but you have someone leave from Michigan and he’s slinging shit in no time.

Remember when the players on…

Remember when the players on the court played with passion and emotion? Remember when there was a bench mob? That has dissipated each year since Juwan got here to where everyone just sits on the bench all stoic. I’ve noticed it for the last several years, they look like they are on medicine out there. Diabate was slightly excitable and Hunter was a villain but other than that, everyone else just looks lethargic on the court and on the bench. The last time I remember any fun was the preseason tournament we won where Juwan was dancing. It’s been dead for atleast a few years and that has to be a culture thing.

Or the players told the side…

Or the players told the side that they witnessed and Warde didn’t do shit about it? All it’s going to take is one transfer out for the story to surface if there is anything to it.

This is HIS version of…

This is HIS version of events but it sounds exactly like a couple of other incidents Juwan has been involved in on the court. The anger management stuff seems to be really helping him 🙄. When the dude sees red, it’s over unless there is something in his way to stop it.

Thoughts on Denard as rb…

Thoughts on Denard as rb coach? I don’t see how it would be that much different for him considering how he played at qb with his vision, cutting ability and ball control.

Everything about him gives…

Everything about him gives me Hoke vibes except for his temper.

What you’re seeing is a lack…

What you’re seeing is a lack of any basketball skill set or coaching combined with players who are checked out.

Turned it off after that…

Turned it off after that. They tipped the fucking ball on a pass out top and nobody from Michigan is aware the ball is still bouncing and Rutgers dude goes and gets it, takes a couple dribbles and lays it in. Done!

I’ve watched less than five…

I’ve watched less than five minutes and it’s painfully obvious this team has zero basketball iq, don’t understand basic fundamentals and give minimal effort on defense.

Most basketball I’ve watched…

Most basketball I’ve watched in 2 months, now I know why.

SEC has been recruiting…

SEC has been recruiting really well the last 3-4 years. It’s not UK and everyone else anymore. That conference, aside from Vandy, only cares about winning in sports. The SEC and Bigten are only like-minded about one thing and that is power. They both crave power and control. How to achieve it, they are miles apart.

Problem is he appears to…

Problem is he appears to coach more like Calipari without the constant loaded roster. Painter is a hell of an X’s and O’s Coach.

I have nothing against Jace…

I have nothing against Jace as long as he’s about 9th on the roster in minutes played. He’s that guy that is good for leadership and camaraderie(at least I think so, not sure after the Sanderson thing). He can come in and hustle and play defense for short periods and give guys a breather. That’s it though!

Sure am glad the Bigten is…

Sure am glad the Bigten is working with the SEC on a new college football model. The $EC historically has had the same issues navigating this corrupt world of college athletics. Lmao!

Maybe it’s just team variant…

Maybe it’s just team variant. We have had some years where the bigten was a bloodbath in the conference and couldn’t do shit in the tournament. I think that’s one of the reasons Beilein’s teams were so good in the tournament, because they weren’t hyper aggressive. Perhaps it’s just the inconsistency of the bigten officiating that I’m noticing.

I still think the Bigten…

I still think the Bigten officiating screws the Bigten come tournament time. Look at the foul disparity with OSU at 18 and Purdue at 8 in Columbus. In the tournament the officiating will loosen up and then Edey won’t spend half the fame at the line. Another reason Kofi Cockburn was hell in the bigten but didnt so shit in the tournament.

The success of our…

The success of our quarterback is going to fall on the shoulders of the new oline. Is there plenty of protection for the qb and is there running lanes for the running backs? It all has to gel together or it won’t matter who the qb is. I did like Tuttle’s mobility he showed prior to the cheap shot he took against Indiana out of bounds that pretty much shut his season down.

As long as Sherrone coaches…

As long as Sherrone coaches the team and doesn’t publicly talk about improving the game for the student athletes (know his place) then the NCAA will leave Michigan alone. I’ve thought all along the SEC and the NCAA wanted Harbaugh gone as quick as he got there. Everything was always an obstacle for him. Luckily for us, he’s a stubborn jackhammer.

I’m afraid Warde will use…

I’m afraid Warde will use that to not change anything towards any sport, including football, and stick to the antiquated mentality they’ve had for years. It’s transformational, not transactional remember.

Hell, Howard was supposed to…

Hell, Howard was supposed to bring that Miami Heat (Riley/Spoelstra) era defense and toughness at least. I haven’t seen that since the first season with half the team not his roster.

There was a time when I…

There was a time when I would have anticipated this game all day and my blood pressure would’ve gone up closer to game time. Thanks Juwan for curing me of the health concerns and not wasting any part of my day concentrating on this game! Caught the score at halftime and at the end of the game. Now I’m catching up on all of the excuses Juwan is dishing out, he has many as the team does turnovers per game.

Basketball, my favorite fucking sport and I don’t even watch the games. The program has zero life. Look back at the last few years, there is a culture problem. The bench mob doesn’t even exist anymore, the players every year look like they are on downers on the court and act as if they’ve never met one another before the game. We’ve covered the roster issues, the lack of fundamentals and coaching malpractice but the thing that stands out to me most is the players don’t look like they even have fun out there and that all started with Howard’s recruits. Can spring practice hurry the fuck up?

Apparently from “insiders”…

Apparently from “insiders” on X, Bama is the front runner. Must want to go play for the coach that gave up 34 points to Michigan in the title game.

It shouldn’t be a brand new…

It shouldn’t be a brand new system and you’d think he could wait until the db’s coach is named and go from there. He has another week to wait it out. I don’t know, seems a little premature for basically what is the 6th man who plays starters level minutes.

It’s everywhere now. He…

It’s everywhere now. He actually has been pretty credible with the portal and nil related stuff. Angelique and others are reporting it now.

I’ll be happy if we land him…

I’ll be happy if we land him but this is one of the reasons I wish he would’ve went after Parker from Toledo. This guy will be covered by the NFL every off-season, they already know who he is and what he can do. Hopefully whatever decision is made doesn’t take very long and Michigan can move on either way.

Wonder why not Corey Parker…

Wonder why not Corey Parker from Toledo? I know Michigan CAN out pay them, not saying they would though.

At this point, I’d like to…

At this point, I’d like to actually see the University officially announce Wink as the DC and Scruggs as the DL coach.

If you look back at the last…

If you look back at the last 3-4 years or so, the SEC has invested in basketball, they are recruiting well. I’m sure it’s the typical SEC illegal shit but they are stockpiling talent. It’s a conference that invests in its sports, not its academics or ethics.

The linebackers coach is BJM…

The linebackers coach is BJM, that’s been out there quite a bit, who is the defensive backs coach?

I’d rather give Saddi or…

I’d rather give Saddi or Eisley a shot, Martelli hasn’t done any better when he’s been the head man.

There are plenty of coaches…

There are plenty of coaches out there that can build a functional roster, foster a culture where they compete on the court and in the classroom and at least look as if they understand the basic fundamentals of basketball. Look at the talent Calipari gets and wastes because he isn’t a good coach. Juwan was worth the risk due to the importance of the Fab 5 and when John left late in the cycle but he’s just not a head coach.

Yet again, glad I didn’t…

Yet again, glad I didn’t waste time watching this stellar game. So much less anxiety when you just look up the gamecast and follow it if it’s reasonable and move on if it’s not.
