First time post. Be easy.
Where did you have M’s record, before the season, after today’s win?
Beat tO$u. Go Blue.

9-3

They've got to prove on the field that they can beat OSU before I can say they’ll win that game. Until then, that game is a loss every single time.

They could win their bowl game and get to 10-3. Depends on who they play and what their mental state is after OSU.

Before season thought we'd be 10-1. I am just glad to see team playing their best football in November for a change. Still a lot of bragging rights on the line this week.

All I know is that Jimmy’s football team has yet to beat a team it was not supposed to beat...and this has been going on for 5 years. Yes, 5 long years.

9-3.  And i predicted we'd lose to Wisconsin, PSU and the Death Star.

But now that we seem willing to actually open things up on offense I'm a bit more optimistic that 10-2 IS possible.

10-2 before the season.  Pep may have gone 11-1 with a loss to OSU.  I feel like Gattis gives us a fighting chance this week.  The season was successful and disappointing at the same time.

I had 10-1 with a loss to ND. I didn't think PSU was going to be as good as they've been, and I also expected us to be a hell of a lot more prepared for Wisconsin. ND is a very good team, but I expected them to be a playoff contender this season.

I thought 9-3 to start (loss at PSU, loss to OSU, and I was torn on either Wisconsin or ND).

After the Illinois game, I thought 8-4 was more likely.

Now, still not sure about next week, but I am so glad to see the turnaround from halftime of that Penn State game to now.

I had them losing to one of ND/PSU, possibly both. Didn't see the Wisconsin loss coming, as I thought we'd roll them again.

As usual the season comes down to OSU. A win and the future looks bright. A loss and ...well we all know that feeling as it will feel exactly like most of the last two decades.

I'm not expecting them to win, but a W in this game, 1-0 vs Day, goddamn. That changes everything. The future would feel bright again. Either way, Gattis seems to have the offense humming finally and if we can find a QB who can run the system in McCaffrey or Milton and not have it take half the goddamn season, we should be very effing good next year. So, here's to hoping. It'd be a helluva a way to go out.

On 7/29, I posted to a thread here that we would be a 9 or 10 win team with losses to OSU, ND, and possibly PSU.  I didn’t expect to beat ND or lose to Wisconsin.  I still expect to lose to OSU.  And, defense remains my biggest concern as it has been for a couple years now.  Still hopeful that Harbaugh gets his first victory against tSIO.  Don Brown needs to call the game of his life.  Go blue!

10-1 with a loss to Wisconsin. The PSU loss will haunt me for a long time. I expect to finish 11-2 with a great Rose Bowl victory.

I thought 8-4 with losses to Wisconsin, Pedo State, ND, and OSU. Glad I was wrong about ND and Michigan was able to get to 9-3. Hopefully everyone plays in the bowl game and Michigan can get to 10 wins.

Brian had us 11-1 with a loss to OSU, so 11-0 after today.

I think I had us 10-2 on the season, with one loss to OSU, so 10-1 after today. Or maybe 9-3 for the season. Either way, I did not expect the horrible start to the year. That was disappointing, and I wonder if some of the team's recent progress only seems great in comparison. I suppose we'll find out in a week. Strangely I might give us better odds of beating OSU in The Game today than I would have at the start of the season. Still not good odds, but better.

I predicted 9-3 with losses to WI, PSU and OSU. I hope I'm wrong and we can get a big win next week against OSU. We need an electric stadium next week with the defense and offense both playing well. I have a feeling it will be a close game now, win or lose.
