But he has to pinky swear to never punt from the opponents 39 again

Well, yeah. David Shaw is now a successful head coach at the best academic institution in America outside of the Ivy League. I don't think he's chucking that to become our offensive coordinator, regardless of your opinion.

You're better than this.

Where in "No" are you reading sarcasm?

Yeah, there's like 3 guys with it.
But UMBIG11 has earned it, like the #1 jersey.
The other guys should switch to a different helmet angle or something.

Would that qualify as "Intent to Decieve"?
January 5th, 2018 at 3:00 PM ^
Everytime I see an avatar like your's, I get excited thinking it is UMBIG11 with some info, then I realize it's not and get my hopes up.

I could wear the "Fire Borges" shirt my fiance had made for me ... and then light myself on fire
January 5th, 2018 at 12:39 PM ^
In hindsight, firing Borges and hiring the young, fresh, and energetic Doug Nussmeier helped to unlock the gate through which Jim Harbaugh would enter.

every single member of Hoke's entire offensive staff should be banned from any employment regarding Michigan Football. There's plenty of smart people, lets not start caping for Borges.

Is it sad that I have watched Suicide Squad several times simply because Margot Robbie is the hottest woman on the planet?

Whole Roman thing is a bit weird. Not like Jim isn't on speaking terms with Ravens HC. Rumors were pretty strong and now he stays. Didn't Jim kind of know this was the probable outcome all along?

they probably played a one-on-one game of basketball to determine who gets roman
January 5th, 2018 at 1:21 PM ^
Jim won.

January 5th, 2018 at 1:22 PM ^
Well if John "won" Roman, he should at least have to take Drevno.

January 5th, 2018 at 12:23 PM ^
Not sure what your point is. I'm saying that Jim and John clearly talk and almost definitely had all their cards on the table and also probably discussed this with Roman together. So if he was going to stay, why all the smoke?

The few reliable sources never said anything more than JH was kicking the tires on Roman. Making contact doesn't mean anything more than that.

I'm kinda hoping Jim Harbaugh is the Offensive Coordinator next season.
January 5th, 2018 at 12:26 PM ^
Kinda sorta... I do hope that he sets the direction, scheme, and play design, but that someone else has day-to-day control over minutia. The Head Coach needs to keep on top of everything - not just one unit.
January 5th, 2018 at 1:13 PM ^
(1) Wow, first post. Upvote for that.
(2) Have we decided that was the problem this year... or at least an important part of the problem this year? That Harbaugh was more hands off with the offense?
January 5th, 2018 at 1:18 PM ^
Receivers open all damn day long.
January 5th, 2018 at 3:40 PM ^
I haven't decided anything other than that I trust Jim Harbaugh knows how to run an offense, and that it's possible he has ceded too much control to others with adverse effect on outcome. But I'm just a fan!

Me too. I don't want an NFL coordinator trying to run an NFL playbook/offense with college players.
January 5th, 2018 at 12:16 PM ^
Find a Don Brown equivalent, a college-only guy who isn't looking to be a year or two and out. Do those exist? Somewhere, that has to exist.
I don't care if Michigan players are familiar with a single "pro concept" by the time they hit the NFL. That's not our problem. I'd rather have an OC or pass coordinator who eats and sleeps college offense and only thinks about how to beat today's college defenses.
January 5th, 2018 at 12:19 PM ^
I thought this article was pretty cool about how Mike Gundy found his current OC. Obviously Harbaugh would be looking for different attributes, but it seems like a good way to get talent and fresh eyes into a system.
