If you read the article the Grime’s came to him. He has a reputation that he will give them a platform to tell their story and not bury it because he or his employer require access to the program. That’s the way it works often in journalism, if you have the reputation the sources seek you out.

11/06/2018 - 7:18pm People get really touchy…

People get really touchy when a kid gets processed but maybe it's what's best for the kid. During his recruitment it was said the coaches basically stopped calling, they still gave him a scholarship. It seems it was clear to the coaches from his senior tapes he didn't develop like they thought he might and tried to cut bait. He can always say he played for Michigan and maybe that's what he wanted but to transfer after a season and a half it doesn't seem like he was happy with his decision.

I don’t feel sorry for these programs. You want respect and a seat at the big boy table? Schedule games against the big boys without holding them for ransom or a return dates. FSU was a mid-major till Bowden got there, then they went into places like Lincoln, Columbus, Ann Arbor and Baton Rogue and won. Year after year without return games.  Pitt and UNC don’t cut it.

10/29/2018 - 11:28am The notion that OSU is out…

The notion that OSU is out of it is plain silly. With the proximity and how many guys OSU puts in the NFL and Larry Johnson I won’t count them out till he’s on campus and enrolled.  Plenty of top commits take awhile to commit and still go to the obvious contender. DPJ just a couple of years ago took awhile, Will Campbell comes to mind. Going back a ways I really feel like LaVell Blanchard wanted to leave home but ended up staying after waiting late into the late signing period to do so.

He may have the feeling that he wants to branch out and leave Columbus but recruits don’t always do what they want to do. The pressure of family and community is tough, and OSU can show him a real path to success and track record of winning. I don’t think he knows what he’s going to do yet but if when it comes to that time OSU will be the easiest choice.

Michigan has never lost a game Tarik Black has played in. Facts.

10/15/2018 - 2:04pm Shea has been struggled…

Shea has been struggled against zone, I know quarters is kind of hybrid but the blueprint is there to make him hesitant and smack him when he breaks the pocket. MSU has the ability to bottle the run game and make this a low scoring game.

I don’t expect a huge day from their offense but with I could see Lewerke extend drives with his legs and agressive 4th down calls and trick plays from Dantonio could capitalize on their opportunities in front of a juiced home crowd. It might be enough to win especially if the turnovers break the Spartans way.

10/14/2018 - 2:50pm Kicking is adventure for all…

Kicking is adventure for all but a tiny fraction of kickers, Michigan has had it’s share of solid ones when looked at through the lense of time. The NFL can’t even find 32 consistently good kickers.

I still think Drevno > Funk. I think Drevno (Warriner as well) was promoted to his level of incompetence.

There’s got to be a caveat for offsetting- replay-the-down penalties if they happen after a turnover. I mean you can’t see the returning team block in the back and go run up and face mask a guy for a replay the down situation, right.

They didn’t play those teams today. The game they did play, went very well, as good as anyone could ask for.

10/06/2018 - 5:23pm What the fuck game did you…

What the fuck game did you watch? Patterson didn’t kill any drives on bad third down passes. There was 2 McKeon COMPLETIONS that came up a yard short, but they had a chance.

Long was doing a lot of grabbing. Watson has looked good.

Mike McCray territory is better than Drake Harris territory.

09/13/2018 - 3:31pm Bergens?

Bergens?

09/09/2018 - 10:56am I don’t think you did that…

I don’t think you did that Oliver Martin play justice. It was running to his left, across his body with a Bronco in his face and it was a dart where only Martin could catch it. I am pretty sure it was third down. I was impressed he even got a throw off, I don’t remember a Michigan QB ever making that play.

Western was extremely aggressive, the Oline can’t block 7 guys.

Fuck off. Does your nephew generate hundreds of millions for his school?  These guys are vastly under compensated, you are a lowlife if you want to take away their perks because they lose football games.

08/26/2018 - 5:32pm He didn’t play in the…

He didn’t play in the Outback to preserve a redshirt.  This injury is a full 3 weeks earlier and he has a lot more practice reps under his belt that would make his transition back to the field easier.

Elite 11 is always confusing but McNamara was 9th heading into the Pro Day had the best Pro Day and remained 9th?

05/25/2018 - 1:57pm Seriously fuck the MLS for

Seriously fuck the MLS for penalizing Detroit because we wouldn’t subsidize them a brand new soccer only stadium.

05/23/2018 - 4:44pm I’m referring to Billups.

I’m referring to Billups. Sorry if that was unclear.

05/23/2018 - 2:20pm I’d prefer Battier, at least

I’d prefer Battier, at least he has front office experience. Also it was glossed over during his playing career but his sexual assault settlement will be front and center if he is picked to run the team.

05/23/2018 - 10:20am That was a weather game.

That was a weather game. Throw it out.

Unfortunately you are in the majority. Controlling these kids wages and likeness isn’t enough the NCAA should be able to control their freedom for 4 years.

04/25/2018 - 9:54am Still don’t like it. Beilein

Still don’t like it. Beilein should be punished for developing guys like Burke and Stauskas into NBA lottery picks? I don’t think spreading the one and done out helps college basketball. Was it good for anyone Ben Simmons was on LSU or Fultz went to UW?

04/16/2018 - 1:35pm 2004 Pistons. So much

2004 Pistons. So much personality and so unexpected, was such a fun season.

04/09/2018 - 11:42pm Well this is the anniversary

Well this is the anniversary of Appomattox, hopefully this turns out as well for our side.

03/27/2018 - 10:06pm I think this and the Capel

I think this and the Capel hire is pretty good evidence that nobody thinks the NCAA is going to do anything and the FBI stuff is overblown.

It’s gotta sting even more as Michigan progresses thinking that should’ve been us.

There was one were Rahk pump faked a 3 and dude flies by Rahk sidesteps and misses the wide open look and Reggie raves how that’s text book running a guy off the line.

03/23/2018 - 11:22am I have forgotten about them,

I have forgotten about them, like when they lose if only because local sports media is easier to consume.  I get the trash talk is part of the fun for some people but I just don't have room in my life to care what State fan has to say.

03/22/2018 - 11:40am The McCaffrey buzz will be

The McCaffrey buzz will be loud this spring, Remains to be seen whether he can take it over to games but he will push for the starters spot based on how he will practice and prepare.

03/22/2018 - 11:35am Harbaugh will split TE’s

Harbaugh will split TE’s wide, could open up a throwback.

03/06/2018 - 11:56pm Who knows, but in a world

Who knows, but in a world where Langston Galloway makes 5 million a year he certainly has a chance.

02/14/2018 - 4:53pm Fine. Don’t love it or hate

Fine. Don’t love it or hate it. I assume he’ll be active in recruiting, should be able to be a professional position coach and be a solid guy in the room.

02/13/2018 - 11:34am Herb Hand?

What has that guy done? Those tire fire olines at PSU? Drev has coached great olines at Stanford, USC and the 49ers. His Michigan tenure has been underwhelming for sure but I do believe for a guy looking to get to the NFL a former NFL coach and a more pro-style offense is an advantage.

02/12/2018 - 8:32pm What does Sean Magee do?

What does Sean Magee do? Was/is there a hierarchy?

02/12/2018 - 2:09pm Agree

Young’s TO margin is essentially a function of his usage x freshman x pg. Not that interesting when you look at it that way.

02/09/2018 - 3:30pm The fan base feels like a

The fan base feels like a real tire fire right now. Sam was talking about a 2019 commit getting harassed for talking about taking visits today. Things feel really whiny and entitled. Even when comes to the site.

02/06/2018 - 11:29am I see Matt Mcquaid right now

I see Matt Mcquaid right now with chance to develop into something more.

Twitter beefs were lame. Glad he has cut that out for the most part. I don’t have a problem defending his program but I would like it be done more maturely.

02/05/2018 - 12:36pm Because Belichick likes him?

Because Belichick likes him? He plateaued at Rutgers flamed out in Tampa, and the Buckeye defense wasn’t as good as its talent.

02/03/2018 - 11:03am Any chance everyone but

Any chance everyone but Patterson gets released as seeing he was on campus and not a recruit?

01/21/2018 - 1:46pm Interesting, seems like a

Interesting, seems like a great hire as an analyst. Three years ago he was the run game coordinator for the best running game in college. May have had something to do with Barret, Elliot, Decker etc, but seems like a steep fall.
