Interesting ON3 prediction to Michigan for 4 star WR
Channing Goodwin is a 2024 low 4 star with decent offers, of which Michigan is clearly the best. EJ Holland has predicted him to Michigan. Very interesting that he is a teammate of coveted 5 star QB target Jadyn Davis. Hopefully there is a connection involved that makes us look even better for getting Davis (who may try to become eligible for the 2023 class).

He’s Jonathan Godwin’s son. And Jonathan helps coach his and Jadyn’s high school team. Yes
I forgot about the connection to his Wolverine Dad which had been mentioned here before.
Don’t forget his Wolverine uncle Harold Goodwin too.
Channing’s Dad Jonathan played for Michigan and then in the NFL as an offensive lineman for over a decade. He won a super bowl with the Saints and played in the Pro Bowl.
Both On 3 and Rivals with predictions for Goodwin AND Justin Okoronkwo last night. Must have similar sources. Anything that helps with Davis is a good thing imo and a great WR prospect is a nice bonus.
Okoronkwo is a currently unranked 2024 LB/OLB from France (?) that is the last of the three European kids that M had been rumored to be hot after since their visits in the US.
Twitter On3 post said he was from Germany
Haven’t you heard. JD comin’.
HYH. JDC. FTFY.
If this were the post about best past posts we might say, “Raback it!” Or “BKFinest it” about JD.

I'm interested.

What is this speculation based on? I haven't seen anything to suggest he wants to do this.
Always one. There's lots of info out there. However, just because you haven't heard doesn't mean, everyone else is making things up.

A quick google search brings up this article, which says that based on twitter rumors, Michigan MAY want him to reclassify, but he has expressed no desire to do so. This is the "lots of info" you're referring to? Pretty weak.
However, just because you haven't heard doesn't mean, everyone else is making things up.
I never said "everyone" is making things up. I simply said I haven't seen anything to suggest it and wondered where OP was getting his source. Calm down.
I haven’t heard this yet either, but I would assume if he’s trying to reclassify for 2023, that would help us since most major programs already have their top QB committed (Alabama has two).
Originally, Davis was interested in reclassifying and going to Ohio State, but they took Raiola instead and appear fine with chasing a 4* instead in 2023. Davis has since lost all interest in Ohio State and seemingly backed off reclassifying. For Michigan, we need to focus on landing him first. In 2023 would be ideal, but we can't afford to push him away.
The other top contenders for Davis appear to be Georgia and Clemson. Georgia has been trending for Julian Sayin and Clemson is also chasing DJ Lagway, though TAMU likely leads there. Michigan would probably like Davis to commit as soon as possible, and being the next QB domino
Isn’t that how we got JJ?
Yep and that model seems to be working. Hopefully, that continues.
Yea it's not exactly a leftovers situation when we still get a 5*. Plus JJ is probably better than McCord anyway. Who knows, maybe Davis will be considered the better QB in 2-3 years too.
I feel like reclassifying never works well, the last thing we need is somebody who is too young and then leaves before ever playing.
Yea, this is the only "source" I can find. One that references vague twitter rumors, lol.
Seems to be only a postulated rumor.
GO BLUE and the 10 posters too!!!
Dad should let son have a 15 minute head start at the dinner table.
His dad was a stud.
