06/15/2018 - 10:08am Alabama had the #1 class in…

Alabama had the #1 class in 2016, and they only have one of their WR/RB recruits left from that class. The one guy who is left was ranked over 100 spots lower than Evans. Saban obviously sucks at talent evaluation, too.

06/08/2018 - 10:22am Mo will definitely be missed…

Mo will definitely be missed for his contagious enthusiasm, but I think next years team will be in good hands. Z has the pit bull mentality, and Poole is always loose and confident. I am sort of expecting the team to take on their personalities.

05/23/2018 - 3:14pm Joe Milton is not going to

Joe Milton is not going to play this year unless it is an absolute emergency.

This will be the third year in a row that the offense has faced Brown's defense in practice. They still sucked the last two years.

05/23/2018 - 11:45am What I saw in that game last

What I saw in that game last year was that we still have no idea what Haskins is going to be. Yes, he lead his team to a win. Really though, he threw 7 passes. 3 of those accounted for 80 of his 94 passing yards. One was a jump ball that his receiver made a ridiculous play on. The other two were simple dump offs to a receiver on a crossing route, and the WR ran away from the defender for a big gain after the catch. He then had a 22 yard run where literally nobody on our defense was even looking at him until he was 15 yards down field.

Yes, he played well and did what he needed to do. He could be great, not trying to say he won't. But there really isn't much to go on yet.

05/23/2018 - 9:48am Just gonna throw this out

Just gonna throw this out there. Patterson had a better completion percentage than Lewerke last year. He had higher rating, threw the same number of TD's and was within 300 yards despite playing 5 less games than Lewerke in the regular season.

05/17/2018 - 12:51pm Just in time for the record

Just in time for the record Freshman class they are bringing in...

05/10/2018 - 3:38pm For some context, Connor Cook

For some context, Connor Cook had almost an identical stat line vs Alabama in 2015. I know it is technically a different Bama team, but their defense is basically the same beast every year. This was Shea's 7th career game, on the road, in his true Sophomore year. Cook played Alabama in the 14th game of his redshirt Senior season on a neutral site.

05/08/2018 - 10:25am I don't think Happ is

I don't think Happ is overrated, his game is just outdated.

05/02/2018 - 12:42pm Curious as to why you don't

Curious as to why you don't think they are potential first round picks. Only have to look at our rivals to see that Lattimore and Waynes went #11 and Dennard went #24 recently. All are pretty similar in size, at least close enough that it won't make much of a difference. Lewis was shorter and was almost a first round lock until he caught a case right before the draft.

05/01/2018 - 2:00pm NFL is obviously part of the

NFL is obviously part of the #BLUEWALL!!!

04/19/2018 - 1:46pm It was a little of both. The

It was a little of both. The staff didn't do a very good job of game planning to what they did have on the field, and the offense seemed to have no flow or purpose. There were a few times (like the OSU game) where the staff actually did put together a solid plan of attack, but couldn't get the execution from the QB position. Here's to hoping that everything on that side of the ball gels this year.

04/05/2018 - 4:08pm I keep saying this

Michigan came out and controlled both games the past two years. The issue in both was poor execution on the QB's. Speight's two picks in 2016 and O'Korn missing what seemed like 100 wide open receivers in 2017. If Don Brown and the defense can get pretty much anything out of the offense in the second half of these games it will be a different story.

04/04/2018 - 4:01pm Even before that, when UM had

Even before that, when UM had a 7 point lead with Nova on their heels on both ends, there were several open 3's missed, and a couple of and-1 opportunities that just wouldn't fall. Still tough to say how the rest of the game plays out, but at that point if we build on the lead a little, and prevent them from only focusing on taking away anything going to the rim, who knows how things flow from there.

If we had say a 10-12 point lead, and weren't in the middle of a 10 minute drought on offense, those early DiVincenzo 3's aren't absolute killers.

04/03/2018 - 6:37am They definitely showed up.

They definitely showed up. They controlled the first 10 minutes of the game. They just didn't have the offensive firepower to put a stranglehold on Villanova. Their offense was always going to get theirs.

04/03/2018 - 6:26am Stop

The missed goaltend was bs, but the officiating did not play into the outcome. Villanova has the perfect college offense, and couldn't be stopped. The story of the game was Michigan not making shots.

04/02/2018 - 10:11pm And the patented end of half

And the patented end of half implosion. Aided of course by the goaltend.

04/02/2018 - 10:06pm Can't make any open shots.

Can't make any open shots. Never going to keep up that way. This is what I was worried about.

04/02/2018 - 2:35pm If it is a tight game and

If it is a tight game and they aren't playing the way they like to, I think the pressure starts to build on them. I agree that it is ideal that this turns into more of a grind, still have to hope our offense is better than it has been for most of the tournament.

04/02/2018 - 2:26pm You better get your ass in

You better get your ass in that church at 9:15, no waiting. And I expect  to be typing in all caps as soon as the game thread starts. No messing around tonight.

04/02/2018 - 9:48am Villanova actually made 18

Villanova actually made 18 against Kansas.

04/01/2018 - 9:13pm West Virginia hung tight with

West Virginia hung tight with them for a while, but they press so Nova was able to get a lot of easy buckets and uncontested 3's out of the press-break.

03/31/2018 - 8:40pm Definitely rooting for Kansas

Definitely rooting for Kansas now.

03/31/2018 - 7:57pm Don't let up!

Don't let up!

03/31/2018 - 7:51pm This is ridiculously

This is ridiculously frustrating. Pissed at some of these calls by the officials, but if just a couple of these shots would just fall then everything changes.

03/31/2018 - 7:06pm Well, that was an atrocious

Well, that was an atrocious half of basketball. Can't play much worse. Hopefully they can pick it up in the second half. The first few minutes will be key.

03/31/2018 - 6:54pm Of all the things I thought

Of all the things I thought could happen in this game, I really didn't expect this team to come out and shit the bed.

03/25/2018 - 1:57am Michigan had as many NCAA

Michigan had as many NCAA tournament wins this this weekend as staee has had in the last three years combined.

03/24/2018 - 10:20pm And arms on every drive

And arms on every drive

03/24/2018 - 10:07pm And I didn't really realize

And I didn't really realize it during the regular season, but the ACC plays some nasty basketball. Teams like FSU, Virginia, and Syracuse just trying to turn a game into an absolute shit show. Duke plays that 2-3 zone now, which is effective, but awful to watch.

03/24/2018 - 10:04pm Up one without a FG from

Up one without a FG from Wagner or Duncan. Uncharacteristically, FSU is hitting shots and Michogan is turning the ball over. Could be a lot worse. Need to clean things up a bit and get some shots to fall.

03/23/2018 - 4:06pm I thought it had something to

I thought it had something to do with so many of their players not being allowed to leave the state.

03/17/2018 - 11:39pm This is an absolute shit show

This is an absolute shit show of a game

03/13/2018 - 10:06am Sparty's worst nightmare: TV

Sparty's worst nightmare: TV Teddy officiating all of their games that are being broadcasted on ESPN with Dakich doing color.

03/09/2018 - 10:08am Obviously there is still some

Obviously there is still some good music being made these days, but you're right, the mainstream is more watered down and corporatized than it ever has been. Up unitl about 30 years ago, talent would rise to the top. It has since evolved into pretty little marketable packages; simple, catchy beats with lyrics that are essentially hashtags that can be repeated. Put a marketable face to it, push it on the masses, then profit.

While there are still talented musicians out there making good music, the number has dwindled. There is no such thing as a developmental deal any more. Original, talented bands are forced to do everything on their own now. Not many people are able to stick with it when they are personally covering the costs of equipment, recording, advertising, merchandise, representation, touring expenses, etc. Not only does all of that fall directly to the artist now, but they have to somehow cover all of that in a time where people don't buy albums or go out to shows unless it is a band that they know from the radio. Even for bands that you hear on the radio who play medium sized clubs, breaking even on a tour is a success.

03/08/2018 - 3:51pm Then imagine the nightmares

Then imagine the nightmares the rest of the B1G would be having the next couple of years if Z was in Wisconsin along side Davison. Glad he is in AA.

03/05/2018 - 1:36pm I think it mostly stems from

I think it mostly stems from the fact that they signed a five man class for next year. There needs to be some attrition, and he seems, right now at least from the outside, as the most expendable.

03/04/2018 - 5:04pm Need some of these shots to

Need some of these shots to fall. And I don't know what the hell you are supposed to do about Haas. He can just bull his way down anytime he wants, but if you push back or reach it is a foul.

03/03/2018 - 6:20pm And even better, the two wins

And even better, the two wins were in EL and on a neutral site.

03/03/2018 - 6:18pm About the floor slapping

I rolled through RCMB to get my fill of schadenfreude and came across an amazing troll thread titled "We need to slap the floor more." Here is the op...

I feel that if we had more floor slapping, there is no way we lose today.

I only remember seeing a handful of floor slaps, and only one quad-slap. That is an issue

Izzo needs to answer the tough questions about the lack of floor slapping, and the team leaders need to be held accountable for not orchestrating whole team floor slaps.

03/03/2018 - 6:13pm Me too

That little extra rasp in his voice.

03/03/2018 - 3:45pm Love getting a bucket after

Love getting a bucket after the sissies slap the floor.

03/03/2018 - 2:58pm These fuckin end of the half

These fuckin end of the half lapses are brutal.

03/03/2018 - 2:45pm Should easily be a double

Should easily be a double digit lead right now. So many wide open shots coming up short. Hoping they can find a second wind.

03/03/2018 - 2:31pm McQuaid easily has the most

McQuaid easily has the most punchable face in the B1G

03/03/2018 - 9:45am Unfortunately I agree. They

Unfortunately I agree. They will have a ton of motivation after what we did to them the first time, plus they are playing to get a better seed in the tourney. They already have a talent advantage, and we are on the 3rd game in as many days. Feels like a game that Michigan will wear down and have a tough time hitting shots with the tired legs.

03/02/2018 - 3:22pm Not this again. Stop letting

Not this again. Stop letting teams cut into your lead and gain momentum heading in to the half.

03/02/2018 - 3:02pm The whole team does

The whole team does

03/02/2018 - 2:44pm The officiating in this

The officiating in this tournament has been awful. All the way around. Not just some bad calls, but they are calling these games so tight.

03/01/2018 - 5:01pm If we are able to pull this

If we are able to pull this one out, I will feel good about the next one. Team shot poorly and the officials took some key players out of the game early. Would have to think that the shooting evens out.

03/01/2018 - 4:48pm I dare someone to find me a

I dare someone to find me a team who gets the short end of bad calls late in games more than Michigan. Unbelievable.
