Any Negatives Coming From Camp? EDIT: Do You Leave Beer for the Host or take home?
Nearly everyone is excited (myself included) for this team and reading Sam's Inside The Sub posts multiply my excitement...However, has anyone heard anything negative coming from camp? After hearing how great Tarik, DPJ, Oliver, etc. are doing, can this be a product of poor corner play? Also, I don't think our O-Line could be worse than last year, but are they really that much more improved (Mo Hurst comments)? All that being said, I can't wait for 9/2.
Sorry to be a Negative Nancy, just want some more #content
EDIT: When you go to a party with a 12 pack of beer and only drink 6, do you leave the remaining beer at the host's house or do you take it home with you?

There was not a single drafted. When was the last time?

especially in years in which we only have one or two departures. The latter is probably quite rare, and last year wasn't one of those cases, because Cole is getting drafted and Bredeson likely will as well.

You don't think our line could be any worse than last year? Did you watch any Michigan football in 2013? That OL was about as atrociously putrid as you will ever see in the game of football.
Last year's line, while not great, was leaps and bounds better than where it was in 2013. In 2016 they could at least run over poor to mediocre defenses. In 2013 they couldn't run over anyone.

Sorry for not clarifying, I mean 2017 > 2016. Was not talking about RR/Hoke lines....

because 2014 was even worse, right?

Still three hours until I can start pounding beers
...and that's all the negatives I've got

One thing I miss from the Hoke years was a little taste of football in August. There were "youth" days, open scrimmages, VIP scrimmages. Even Harbaugh's first fall camp had a for students only scrimmage, but now we get nothing til Jerry's World. I need a fixxx....man.

No such thing.
If defense is ahead of offense...they're the best in the country...if offense beats the defense, they beat the #1 defense in the country so they're really good.

because I'm a follower and I want to fit in.
Then I read and realized, that's a negative post/way of thinking.
See, the herd is never wrong.

now, if you take a bottle and the bottle is unopened, then you're free to take that back with you

So my argument is that I have hosted parties and people leave their beer (typically cheap, shitty angry orchard). Which just becomes a god damn burden for me cause I ain't gonna drink that shit and now I gotta take care of it. I would rather you take your un-drank beer home...
August 18th, 2017 at 5:16 PM ^
That's not beer. Gross. I'm grabbing a homebrew to ponder the question. :)
August 18th, 2017 at 9:18 PM ^
Tell your friends to bring better (actual) beer.
And I tell people not to leave that type of stuff.

When I bring this, I'm sure as hell not leaving any!
August 18th, 2017 at 5:38 PM ^
If you can't afford to leave it, don't bring it.
August 18th, 2017 at 6:34 PM ^
It's not the price as much as the availability.

1) No negatives.
2) Of course you leave the beer.
Next question?

but definitely take back the marble rye.

Leave the beer, with the caveat that if it's something very rare/hard to find, you can leave not all of it if you brought it for others to drink, but should at least leave a token 1-2 as a thank you.
