Zach Harrison Tweet: "Most Confused I've Ever Been"

Submitted by BursleyHall82 on October 31st, 2018 at 1:02 PM

Five-state Ohio DE Zach Harrison tweeted out this cryptic tweet last night: "This is the most confused I've ever been in my life." That's all he wrote. No other clues. LINK

Coming on the heels of Urban Meyer's health update yesterday, Sam Webb was speculating this morning what this tweet meant, since Zach is probably the most close-to-the-vest player he's ever met. Could be he was leaning OSU, and now he's not.

I choose to believe it's promising news, because I want to.

If we were the presumed leader as some speculated, maybe it’s not good news. Either way, best not to over analyze tweets.

If Michigan wins out, Urban Meyer retires, he's probably coming here.

If Ohio State rights the ship, beats Michigan, Urban stays, he's probably going there.

Just keep winning.

I was going to make an effort at seriousness and ask if PSU is still in it for Zach, and I presume that the answer is yes.

46% OSU, 44% UM, 10% PSU?  Something like that?  I get the confusion, when there are three schools in the mix.  Maybe a fourth school came up with a nice presentation.

Well, to play devil's advocate, it sounds as though Harbaugh might have been doing a little damage control this morning: https://www.freep.com/story/sports/college/university-michigan/wolverines/2018/10/31/michigan-football-rashan-gary-injury/1830253002/

If Rashan and his mother took issue with the way Harbaugh presented things after the MSU game, I can't say I would blame them. It's possible Ms. Coney-Shephard expressed some frustration with the way things were communicated publicly.

I can't begin to know the pressure this young man is feeling about this decision.

However, once you get to his level as an athlete, and are considering one of 3 blue-blood football programs, and 3 very respected academic institutions (one obviously much better than the others) you have to kind of forget about all that.

Who will my teammates be?  My classmates? What will life be like outside of and after football?  He's probably smart enough to be doing this anyway, but I really think at this point all the "other" factors should be the most important.
