07/11/2018 - 7:47am This is spot on. Columbus …

This is spot on. Columbus (the actual city) isn't bad, I live here, but from September through January people are psycho's and have the osu blinders on 24/7. Now think if your kid, who is a stud athlete, went off to the rival. It'd be tough to live here still and feel like people weren't always judging you.

04/02/2018 - 3:32pm LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

LET'S GOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!

04/02/2018 - 12:20pm Same. No one could have

Same. No one could have predicted we'd be in this position at Christmas. We all want to win this game, but know the odds are stacked against us, and we should all be happy with this season no matter what. With that said, WIN THE DANG GAME! Michigan by 3.

02/16/2018 - 10:55am RPO offense was the hot thing

RPO offense was the hot thing and studied up on when Oklahoma St and West Virginia were popularizing it years ago. RPO plays are just getting a sloppy seconds go round because the eagles had success with it.

02/08/2018 - 7:50am Harbaugh would have to

Harbaugh would have to follow last year up with two more years of 9 wins or less and losses to OSU. Then his seat might get warm. The university made a big commitment to him. Besides, who are we going to get that's better?

02/07/2018 - 9:27am Isn't that the Jimmy John's

Isn't that the Jimmy John's guy?

02/05/2018 - 1:06pm That's what many are saying

That's what many are saying (Football scoop mentioned that in the article). That should be better for Michigan right? He is more of a "defend the spread" guy right?

02/05/2018 - 1:03pm I listened to show as well

I listened to show as well and when he was talking about that I felt like he was more talking about analyzing how the Patriots were defending it. He didn't really give any indication that they were studying it to incorporate on offense. I think it was a general "Hey, our coaching staff will watch the game in order to get better as a staff" generic line. Harbaugh is coach speak to the max in these interviews.

02/05/2018 - 12:52pm I feel like we've had more

I feel like we've had more than usual (3-4?) former players from the recent past join the coaching staff lately (Ross, Roundtree, Gant). I wonder why so many?

02/01/2018 - 7:56am Agreed, the video is great,

Agreed, the video is great, but I don't think that's anything different from how other Strength coaches carry themselves. I will agree with the OP, the video production is awesome. I feel like the football teams twitter/instagram accounts have been pumping these videos/pics out the past couple days to show off the new weight room.

01/30/2018 - 1:37pm Yikes, are you the old I see

Yikes, are you the old guy I see on the corner every morning yelling at people to slow down on the cul de sac?

01/22/2018 - 8:38am or they're just trying to get

or they're just trying to get playing time somewhere that they weren't seeing at the school they're transferring from.

01/04/2018 - 12:03pm I care more about the

I care more about the recruiting aspect. He's not a coordinator, he's a position coach so he has significantly less outcome on the game than OC or DC based on how he teaches the players. He does however have a significant impact if he beats out OSU on the recruiting trail.

01/04/2018 - 11:56am It would be more than

It would be more than justified based on Don Brown's performance.

01/04/2018 - 11:10am I wasn't trying to insinuate

I wasn't trying to insinuate that Lane was pawning off Kendal Briles, just saying that maybe they had a conversation about him that might lead Harbaugh to inquire.

01/04/2018 - 8:44am That could make sense based

That could make sense based on the reference. Kendal Briles is the FAU OC and Lane Kiffin was at practice while they were in Florida. One person I thought of, doesn't fit the baggage, but Mike Yurcich, Ok St OC. He is a native of Euclid, OH.

01/04/2018 - 8:25am This is like a murder mystery

This is like a murder mystery of how to find who our next offensive staff will be. Thanks umbig11, now I'll be terribly unproductive at work today trying to solve this case with the clues you gave.

12/21/2017 - 9:53am I get that OSU has out

I get that OSU has out recruited a lot of people over the past 5 years, but is there a website or source out there that accounts for all the transfers a program has and reranking the classes? It seems like OSU has a lot of great recruits come in and then a couple always fall off right away. I know that happens in every program to some extent, but a recalculated version of the rankings would tell a better picture of current team strength.

12/20/2017 - 1:14pm When wathcing his highlight

When watching his highlight tape the first thing that stands out is his passion to hit, and hit hard, whether on defense or offense. Was definitely immpressed by his film, it's 4* level. What is the competition like that he played against?

12/20/2017 - 8:57am German Thunder!!!!

German Thunder!!!!

12/07/2017 - 9:59am I wonder if an offensive

I wonder if an offensive coach is on the way out that we don't know about yet. I feel like that would have to be the case if Enos is being talked to. He would accept an analyst position at this point in his career.

12/07/2017 - 9:52am I don't like when we compare

I don't like when we compare Michigan to the browns. That gives me heartburn.

12/07/2017 - 7:54am I think the "or Pattersons

I think the "or Pattersons brother" was a joke. Devin Bush Sr is more than qualified. 1st rd pick at safety I believe, proved himself to be a great high school coach and we have 3 of his guys that are all getting some form of PT as true sophmores, and spent the year as an analyst in the system. This more than fits into the same pattern of Partridge, and hopefully we could get DB sr on the recruiting trail in FL with all the HS connections he must still have.

12/06/2017 - 8:18am I have the same feeling. I'm

I have the same feeling. I'm glad Harbaugh and these transfers are so confident that they are going to play immediately, but the fact is nothing has been made public and most have just gotten lawyers at this point. I'll be fearing the worst, but hoping for the best.

12/06/2017 - 8:07am This may be the best

This may be the best comparison I've ever heard. Thank you for making my day.

12/06/2017 - 8:01am Hopefully if Shea comes in a

Hopefully if Shea comes in a becomes the starter Harbaugh and Pep will adapt the offense a little and you'll see more of what the 49ers did with Kap to utilize his skill set.

12/05/2017 - 4:34pm Was just thinking this.

Was just thinking this. Happens with position coaches where they leave after a month before the job even starts because of a better offer.

12/05/2017 - 3:07pm Where is UMBig11! We need

Where is UMBig11! We need info on Greg Little, that would immediately turn this team into a favorite next year.

12/05/2017 - 2:01pm this only hurts our chances

this only hurts our chances

12/04/2017 - 3:50pm I think this is the most

I think this is the most savage Harbaugh has ever gone on twitter. Thing is I didn't think Morks comments were that far off from what he usually says.

12/04/2017 - 1:47pm He's also never had a top 5

He's also never had a top 5 defense helping him keep points off the board....

12/04/2017 - 1:41pm I'm guessing two main

I'm guessing two main factors:

1) Work with Harbaugh would be like getting your PHD in QBing

2) Was born in Toledo, grandpa I believe played for the pistons. Guessing some or most of family likes Michigan.

12/01/2017 - 10:56am If you stop shouting at me

If you stop shouting at me I'll help....

11/30/2017 - 4:00pm If Woods can cover better

If Woods can cover better than Metellus he seems like the better fit.

11/30/2017 - 2:01pm People are making this

People are making this comparison but it's wrong. They can get upset about Jourdan Lewis winning defensive back of the year over Hooker, that makes sense. In no way, shape, or form should an arguement for peppers not deserving defensive player of the year be made. His overall stats and impact on the game are enough. People want to point to only having 1 interception. Go look at the TFL's and qb hurries.

11/28/2017 - 8:23am his ability to burst off the

his ability to burst off the snap is impressive. Wouldn't be suprised if he doesn't take a RS and someone gets playing time next year.

11/27/2017 - 1:01pm Mettellus needs to make a

Mettellus needs to make a jump in coverage skills, otherwise I feel like he could get passed.

11/27/2017 - 12:59pm Because all the freshman LB's

Because all the freshman LB's were true freshman that were learning the system this year and have loads more athleticism than furbush. Would be shocked, and frankly somewhat disappointed, if one of them couldn't make the leap past Furbush.

11/27/2017 - 12:11pm Does anyone else feel like

Does anyone else feel like the Offensive staff got off track last year by hiring Frey? I'm not saying he's a bad coach, but now we technically have 2 OL coaches and no WR coach, and need some dominos to fall in order to restrcuture the issue. Just odd after all the young talented WR's we brought in.

11/27/2017 - 11:53am Soooo Drevno is leaving in

Soooo Drevno is leaving in this scenario? Someone would have to go.

11/27/2017 - 7:44am I think everyone assumes

I think everyone assumes based on year/starzzz which guy will start. This is going to be a strong battle next year between Mcaffrey and Peters, eventually leading to a strong battle between Doyle and Milton. Yes, Milton has more starzz, but watch the tape, Doyle gets through progressions, can make throws, and can move a little.

11/22/2017 - 12:40pm I was doing this excercise

I was doing this excercise the other day a bit at FBschedules. I don't think it is that far off from the other rivals, especially when you factor in the spot (who they played and home/away the week before).

This may be OT, but OSU '19 schedule. They cross over with @Nebraska (yes they are bad now, but baring who they hire and @ home could be dangerous), @NW, and Wisconsin. Even more interesting, in that same year their non-conference games are garbage, FAU, Cincy, Miami (NTM). Don't tell me these teams don't balance conference and non-conference for a given year.

11/22/2017 - 8:29am I think if he is an option to

I think if he is an option to play right away next year and not have to sit out it's definitely something we should pursue. If you watch his Ole Miss highlights he is comparable to what Johnny Manziel was in college (don't think Johhny Manziel browns). We could use a mobile QB with our OL pass pro being what it is and no guarantees it is going to make a huge leap next year.

11/21/2017 - 2:43pm That's what I feel the

That's what I feel the purpose of the lifetime contract is. I think Harbaugh and Warde want to put to rest the "Harbaugh is leaving for the NFL" crowd.

11/21/2017 - 2:32pm Cry, then run outside, dump a

Cry, then run outside, dump a celebratory beer on my head as if we won the stanley cup, then go out in Columbus with my michigan gear on. Unfortunately I live in cbus.

11/17/2017 - 1:06pm ummm so he's booting 57

ummm so he's booting 57 yarders every time?

11/15/2017 - 8:32am hope he's got a change up to

hope he's got a change up to go with that fast ball. I feel like that was Shane's pitfall to becoming a high level QB, he was still slinging bullets on 5 yard slants to the slot receiver and no one could handle it. That's something Peters almost does too well when he's checking it down. Thing just seems like it's not even going to get there sometimes.

11/15/2017 - 8:14am I was going to ask a similar

I was going to ask a similar question. I know we have heard on the broadcast a couple times where they say DPJ was open downfield, but there is never good footage so I don't know what to conclude. Have the coaches made any mention of this?

11/09/2017 - 12:04pm Believe it or not sometimes

Believe it or not sometimes random students have a better beat on their fellow classmates then a head football coach. Not saying you're wrong or right, just saying you shouldn't be so quick to discredit it.

11/03/2017 - 3:03pm at least 1 more to develop at

at least 1 more to develop at QB, Harbaugh can mold his throwing mechanics and then we have Denard 2.0, but faster!
