Bosa Out Until At Least November
Surprised I hadn't seen this posted yet but Nick Bosa's father said he is out until at least November after surgery and will he be reevaluated then. It doesn't sound like he's all that certain he'll play at all this year. First and foremost you feel for the kid, but if he's not 100% for The Game, it could mean a lot especially against our tackles.

Definitely coming back right in time for The Game
September 24th, 2018 at 8:25 PM ^
Would Bosa really risk a long-term injury that could affect his draft status just to play Michigan in The Game?
*checks recent history against OSU

Yup, seems likely.

Bosa, De La Rosa, Coca Cola, it dont matter. Wolverines by 10.

I like the enthusiasm! That kind has been unknown to mankind for quite some time...
September 24th, 2018 at 9:03 PM ^
Confidence...is very sexy.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:09 PM ^
If that's true, the guy who posted the confidence thread must be a very emotional Ron Jeremy .
September 24th, 2018 at 9:23 PM ^
Whoa...you think Ron Jeremy is sexy? Hmmmm.
September 24th, 2018 at 10:31 PM ^
Sexy? Maybe. Inspiring? Absolutely.

I met him at an ATM on Sunset. He had 3 beautiful women in attendance. They all drove off in his bile yellow Pinto.
September 25th, 2018 at 12:26 AM ^
My brother was in Ordinance. Retired a few years back after 17 years .
September 24th, 2018 at 11:26 PM ^
Way more than 10
September 24th, 2018 at 8:17 PM ^
Yeah OSU will be down to 3 5* DE's. Very difficult times for the Buckeyes.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:20 PM ^
Thoughts and prayers.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:36 PM ^
Sure, other DEs will have an opportunity to make an impact in The Game...
...but Bosa is special and missing him will be a dramatic step down. (if he doesn't play)
September 24th, 2018 at 8:56 PM ^
Shut up idiot face.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:11 PM ^
see mirror.
nothing chuck posted deserved that. please don't embarrass our fan base.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:07 PM ^
I don’t understand how people can’t see this. OSU doesn’t have 3 top 5 NFL talent DEs. They have one and it’s Nick Bosa.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:52 PM ^
DreMont Jones is a projected 1st rounder this year, Chase Young is also projected a 1st rounder next year.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:53 PM ^
he'll play, unless he has some type of setback of course.
September 24th, 2018 at 10:18 PM ^
Agreed. It might not be the "silver bullet" Michigan needs to beat the Bucks, but losing him is not nothing.
I'm not sorry that the Buckeyes are now a *slightly* weaker team, I am sorry for the kid. It's a tough break, and sounds like a painful injury too boot.
September 24th, 2018 at 10:51 PM ^
sorry that he is injured. . .
but he is an overrated fuckhead. Hurst was definitely the better defensive lineman in the big ten last year.
September 25th, 2018 at 2:15 AM ^
"Overrated fuckhead"???
I'm not sure that he's one bit overrated, and name calling doesn't make your point any stronger. Oh, he was better than Hurst last year, and arguably the best player in all of CFB this year until the injury.
September 25th, 2018 at 2:04 PM ^
then can't he just perform a miracle and cure himself? jeez...
September 25th, 2018 at 7:15 PM ^
2:15am? Just get off your Domino's delivery shift?

Don't check back here very often, so I just noticed this bit of ignorance. No, I'm a nightshift Pediatric Resident, but your attempt at insult is so much better than the truth.

What are "things I've said to women immediately before being slapped in the face", Alex.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:19 PM ^
$200 or $1,000?
September 24th, 2018 at 10:11 PM ^
Definitely for $1,000.
September 25th, 2018 at 1:50 AM ^
He pays way too much for getting slapped around
September 25th, 2018 at 6:39 AM ^
Great comment, had me doing some belly laughs haha
September 24th, 2018 at 8:23 PM ^
He will definitely play against Michigan.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:24 PM ^
I don't care how many 5*s they have. Bosa is a surefire top 10 pick. Basically everyone is a step down from that.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:28 PM ^
Agreed. The havoc he creates can swing a game.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:24 PM ^
Bosa may not return this year if it doesn't heal quickly and correctly. Sports hernias can take longer for some to recover from. This dude is a freak in strength, which puts tremendous pressure on his core. He wont risk a re-injury if he isn't 100%. He is a lock for Top 3 in draft. He may wait until playoffs or bowl game.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:25 PM ^
Anyone know if and when Vilain returns?
September 24th, 2018 at 8:45 PM ^
Was wondering the same. Would like to see this kid play. Dont like the trend though.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:39 PM ^
Got to say no, he absolutely will risk a re-injury to play vs. Michigan. That problem is that you're projecting rationality into the thoughts and actions of a Buckeye.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:03 PM ^
If Urban has anything to do with it, he WILL risk injury to play against Michigan!
September 24th, 2018 at 8:27 PM ^
He should not come back this year. I say this 1. because the drop off to his replacement isn't crazy, and 2. because a core muscle injury should be treated with an excess of caution - he could put his NFL longevity in jeopardy if he rushes this. I make the first point to say I'm not just saying this as a Michigan fan that doesn't want to face him. I mean, I don't, but I'd also advise him to not come back this year if he were my son and I was a huge Buckeye.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:34 PM ^
Maybe I'm scarred by the Detroit Tigers recent history with "core" injuries, but him coming back this year seems unlikely if this issue is at least somewhat serious.
Granted Verlander and Miggy are older than Bosa, but football is also a more violent sport. It took those guys many, many months to come back to top effectiveness. I don't see how he can sit out for many weeks and then be ready to go until, say, the bowl game.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:44 PM ^
According to the lame post prior to this one...just be confident...with perspective.
Be sure to tip the wait staff.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:47 PM ^
Hope he gets back to 100%. As far as The Game is concerned, how healthy the refs are is the only thing that worries me.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:49 PM ^
Hoping to play the Bucks without him is weak sauce. Borderline cowardice.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:51 PM ^
When you've lost 13 of the last 14 you take any advantage you can get. Especially since OSU will have the men in the stripes on their side.
September 24th, 2018 at 8:54 PM ^
Plus all the disadvantages we have had to play with during The Game.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:16 PM ^
Michigan has played in The Game without a healthy, starting QB from start to finish for the past how many years exactly? Nobody is actively rooting for the kid to be injured, but history also won’t care who played and who didn’t. Just win no matter what.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:32 PM ^
Dont care who is injured or otherwise unavailable. I just want michigan to win a clean game with whoever makes it that far. Michigan has lost at least a half dozen Ohio State games this century due to one or two poorly timed injuries, we get no sympathy.
So basically, fuck them, with or without Bosa. They are going to be good regardless.
September 24th, 2018 at 9:57 PM ^
I'm not sympathizing, dude.
