They could have subbed me in off the fucking couch and I would have done better.  That was a middle school, first time being pressed, meltdown.

I have interest in your tickets in section 134 if you are still selling them.  Text 248-506-3059

I bought 4 through UM AD and can only use 3.  I don’t know exact location, but email says lower level.  I just want the $195 that I paid.  Text me at 248-506-3059, if interested.

You are correct about being…

You are correct about being weary of a Michigan vs Georgia matchup.  However, I think Georgia is the clear #1 and would expose Ohio St or any other team.

If Tennessee wins their last…

If Tennessee wins their last 3 games, they are getting the 4th playoff spot.  Georgia would also be a lock even with 1-loss.

You are correct.  Michigan…

You are correct.  Michigan shot 47.1% and 62.5% on FTs in a game and lost by 10 at home to an awful Minnesota team.  Tonight’s numbers aren’t beating anybody.

The refs suck in most games…

The refs suck in most games.  However, poor officiating was the least of Michigan’s problems today. This team needs somebody other than Hunter to step up and score consistently.

Minnesota is giving up a…

Minnesota is giving up a right-handed layup if Hunter wants it.  He isn’t taking it.

This team and Harbaugh…

This team and Harbaugh deserve credit for this win.  I am no longer a fan of Harbaugh as HC and thought the program should have moved on from him.  I will say that he surprised me today.  I knew Michigan’s only chance of winning would be to air it out more than they have.  I just didn’t expect them to do it.  There were some issues but they did it enough to make the offense effective and the defense played great outside of the last 2 drives in the first half.  I have to give credit when credit is due.  Go Blue!

I’m done blaming the OC’s.  I’m just blaming Harbaugh.

“We’re winning” as in…

“We’re winning” as in beating a MAC team and a shitty Washington team with an incompetent offense?  This team won’t be “winning” against any rivals if they can’t complete a forward pass.

You are right but many will…

You are right but many will disagree because tonight’s game plan worked.  If Michigan is unable to complete a forward pass against Wisconsin, Penn St, Sparty, Indiana, or Ohio St, I don’t think the end results will be similar to what we saw tonight.

I’m not so sure that it’s…

I’m not so sure that it’s the fact that Michigan DIDN’T choose to throw much that has fans upset.  I think it is the belief that Michigan CAN’T throw even if they need to.

Yeah.  You guys are right. …

Yeah.  You guys are right.  Let’s keep Harbaugh around.  He is aging like a fine wine in Ann Arbor.

Nope.  Not without the…

Nope.  Not without the ability to complete a forward pass.

Fuck that shit.  FG attempts…

Fuck that shit.  FG attempts shouldn’t even be allowed inside the 5-yd line.

Tickets are much less…

Tickets are much less expensive on the secondary market this year as well (even with StubHub’s ridiculous fees).  If fans don’t have an emotional attachment/history with specific seats, they can attend all home games this year for less than what they paid the AD for tickets.

If teams will have more…

If teams will have more wiggle room to drop a few regular season games and still make the playoffs,  maybe we will start to see more major P5 matchups in September.  That would be much better than most of the September football we’ve had in the past.

“We just pay more”

A damn fucking strong offer.

A damn fucking strong offer.

Say less.  Do more.

Say less.  Do more.

I totally agree.  No matter…

I totally agree.  No matter who the Lions picked this year, it could be considered as filling a need since the roster is awful.  They still would have sucked if they had picked a top WR instead of Sewell.  This is a multi-year rebuild.  Building in the trenches first is a sound strategy.  They have a lot of picks the next 2 seasons.  The Lions should be ready to contend in 2023 if they get these drafts right.

I didn’t mind the Lions…

I didn’t mind the Lions drafting Barnes but still can’t understand why they felt the need to trade up to do it.  He likely could’ve been had 1-2 rounds later.  I’m also not sure why they drafted a RB in the 7th round.  I’ll be shocked if he ever gets to touch the ball.  I would have rather seen them draft Dylan Moses and hope that he is good enough to get in to their LB rotation.  Other than that, I was happy with the first 4 picks.  I think the Lions got a lot tougher and more physical with this draft class.

Lions need to improve their…

Lions need to improve their play in the trenches.   I’d agree that they need interior DL more but this draft is short on talent at that position group.  They got the most talented OT in the draft.  Short of trading back, I think it was about the best outcome the Lions could have realistically hoped for.

Wisconsin is an auto-loss…

Wisconsin is an auto-loss until our d-line proves that they can stop their run game.  I see no reason to think they can.  So, an auto-loss it is.  Wisconsin has had a stout run game and massive o-line for the last 25 years.  Don’t even ask me who is returning for them.  It doesn’t matter.

The basketball team won in…

The basketball team won in Madison, Columbus, and at home against Sparty.  When was the last time football pulled off even 2 of the 3?

Still is

The Lions used their #3 pick…

The Lions used their #3 pick on a CB last year and they still need one.  When you fuck up the pick and get a shitty player, the need doesn’t go away.

You’ve got it.  Illinois…

You’ve got it.  Illinois played 3 NCAA Tournament participants in the non-conference:  Missouri, Baylor, and Ohio.  They lost to Missouri.  They lost by 13 to Baylor.  They won by 2 against Ohio.  This is a small sample-size of feedback that has pretty much been ignored.  Michigan did not play any NCAA Tournament competition out of conference.  The B10 seems to have better big men than the other conferences but lacks the athletes at the guard/wing positions that most of the teams still playing have.  I don’t ever recall more misperception of the quality of the teams in the NCAA Tournament than this season.  It makes sense with the conference-heavy schedules and fewer games played by most teams.

Did you watch the Iowa vs…

Did you watch the Iowa vs Gonzaga game?  Or, did you see the final score?  Iowa did not hang with Gonzaga.  Gonzaga kicked their asses and were in complete control before half.  They led by ~20 for most of the 2nd half.  The final score was closer than that game really was.

Wow!  Did the tournament…

Wow!  Did the tournament expand to 128 teams this year?  Sparty still didn’t make the field?

I have to agree with you.  I…

I have to agree with you.  I’m fucking pissed off losing to those assholes.  I don’t care what the “stakes” are. Losing Brooks on top of it.  This was a rough week for this team with a nice bright spot sandwiched.in between.

Franz and Hunter waited far…

Franz and Hunter waited far too long to show up today.  They should both be grouped with Livers as no-shows for today’s game.

I hate to say it but we can…

I hate to say it but we can’t guard Curbello or Frazier.  No way could we guard Dosunmo.  They are a terrible matchup for us.

They haven’t played a game…

They haven’t played a game in 3 weeks.  Didn’t stop Michigan though.

Amazingly, they were #3 in…

Amazingly, they were #3 in the KenPom rankings before our win earlier today.  They are currently #4.  Without any defense, I don’t think they are a top 5 team.

With the guys we want…

With the guys we want shooting them too.  FT shooting will be huge as OSU is already in the penalty too.

Football players don’t…

Football players don’t really have other viable options other than college or the NFL.  Basketball players have more options:  play overseas, G-League, college, NBA.

I had to reply to this.  I…

I had to reply to this.  I did exactly the same thing except I had a 7-team parlay with Utah Valley, in addition to the 6 teams you had.  I did the same thing on Thursday and won as well.  I’m betting very small amounts of $ but that Illinois game had me sweating it out.  I thought Illinois winning on the ML was the easiest pick of the night going in too.
