Baylor taking on Gonzaga
I have a feeling Baylor pulls this out but honestly wouldn’t be surprised if either team wins

I'll be rooting for Gonzaga because I want the IUsedToBe Hoosiers to shut their mouth about their 76 team.
Can you really compare a team that plays in the WCC to that IU team? I mean I definitely would to my IU friend, but in reality no way. Talk to me when you go undefeated as a Power 5.

I like Few and Gonzaga generally, but there's something about this particular squad that I find irksome.

The issue I have with them is the media adolation and worship they've received for months. It's been nauseating.
Playing out kind of how I expected really. Baylor is so athletic. They can shoot and defend. Gonzaga hasn't faced anything like this all year.
I don't know, they played Portland State at least a few times. How much better can Baylor be than them??
The way Baylor recovers on defense and is just consistently in your face is remarkable so far. Gonzaga can’t get any separation to make shots.

NFW is Gonzaga a top 10 defensive team. Outside of Suggs they are hot garbage at that end.

Before its Covid pause, Baylor was like this all the time.
yeah, well they were 2 for most of the year, but seeing this versus Gonzaga is eye opening for me at least, as I didn't really watch them during the regular season aside from highlights...
I knew they were quick, excellent defenders and shot the 3 well, but I was expecting a little bit more from Gonzaga...

This is why I was happy to be on Gonzaga's side of the bracket and not on Baylor's side. We were one basket from it mattering.
On 1/22 I placed two kinda dumb bets, Gonzaga at 3:1 to win it all and Baylor at 6:1. Surprised (and rather disappointed) that it worked out. Go Baylor I guess.
At this rate we’ll be able to go to bed by 10:30 and not miss a thing.
