some of you actually think that the average attention span during a meeting is no longer than an episode of the simpsons?
comparing dry work meetings to breaking down film for million dollar salaries is a bit of a stretch.
if this is actually true, I weep for humanity...

He made it a bigger story than it should have been.
"He's a great coach. He won at Stanford and the NFL, so there's not much more to say. Michigan made a very good hire, and I look forward to meeting him... Outside of that, I haven't really thought about it as our focus is on our bowl game tomorrow."
Instead he went pouty a la the tent stake incident...

Sam pretty much said the same thing, in terms of not being able to confirm the contract length....
would not be surprised at all if the contract actually falls into the 7 million dollar range...
|26 weeks 4 days ago||Agreed... Durkin is currently||
Durkin is currently unemployed, so what is being negatively recruited?
|27 weeks 12 hours ago||Also||
Sam is now at 75% and bacon was at 85%
Those guys won't go much higher than that unless JH was in a limo headed to Schembechler Hall...
At this point, it's as good as anyone could have hoped for...

if they fire him, won't they also owe him a buyout? Like how we stil are on the hook for firing Hoke?
Seems like if they are going to fire him, without even bothering to explore compensation from another NFL team (which doesn't have to be picks, could be conditional picks or a pile of cash), it seems like a good thing for Michigan... or neutral at worst.
If true, maybe word has been passed, because, otherwise, why wouldn't SF simply wait and see what other teams would offer? Even if its simply money?

when does the clock start then?
Sure Saban has been there 6 years. Please refresh my memory about how many MNC and SEC titles he also has.
I am more than willing to give Hoke et al a grace period of four years...but honestly, even Dantonio won a share of the B1G title after four years...Hoke is better than Dantonio isn't he?

its probably part of it i would imagine...DG was probably playing it safe...
At the same time, it's CMU...if it was a problem of getting separation, that's going to be the case all year...
On the plus side, we have Devin...and he reminded me a lot of Vince Young - a glider who can still make throws on broken plays...a very, very dangerous combination
|1 year 43 weeks ago||i saw a lot of times that DG||
i saw a lot of times that DG had to pull down the ball to run it after failing to find an open receiver. Now that could have been for a variety of reasons, as I wasn't at the game; it could have been a reluctance to throw against a cover 2...but it could also be our WRs not getting any separation.
Throws within the offense were really limited to Gallon's TD and Reynolds bomb...Looking at the boxscore, the ypc weren't big numbers and Dileo's yards were from a broken play...
Now this may be growing pains...but it could also be that our WRs are average and that there is no deep threat.
I think it bears watching during ND, cause they are going to focus on stopping the run...so we'll see where our WR corp stands after that test.

Its not even the end of August 2013...Not sure if closing out 2015 CB recruiting at this point is a good thing or a bad thing?
These kids go through a lot of physical transformations at this age, both good and bad...
