Hoke was top notch at this aspect of his job.

is the most any one person can be reasonably expected to do (and is unfortunately way more than what most people actually do). Politics runs our lives whether we like it or not, and the only way to bring about reform is through active participation. Some better participation in both local and national government would go a long long way in helping curb these essential problems we face.

This was during the 97 national championship season. The first day he came into the classroom, everyone thought he was Charles Woodson besides me. Everyone was like "OMG Charles Woodson!" But I was like, "NO THAT'S TAI STREETS!!!!" He taught me how to read a clock.
And the rest is history.

I'm all for the fouling rule as now we may not have to worry about the automatic 2 fouls and you sit out the whole first half coach b strategy

this is a ridiculous mindset to hold. the fact that you know you are going to be raped by agreeing to something, ie marriage, does not make it less rape...

Excited to see responses. I've lived in Michigan for 20 years and I've not done much traveling in the state at all. It's a damn shame, too. My parents aren't the outdoors types and we always did a lot more traveling abroad.

2 4th years, and 2 doctors. We ran a clinic out of the community center. It was a very...interesting experience because the program that we teamed up with in Peru was run by an American ex-pat who didn't really believe in Western Medicine. There were lots of struggles to get her to let us give people the medications that we brought. She was concerned that people would become "addicted" to Western meds. However, we intentionally didn't bring anything that would require long-term refills (blood pressure med, diabetes meds, etc.), and instead brought antibiotics, etc.
We also got to go to Machu Picchu, which is easily the most spectacular place I've ever been.

She was in the first year of her PhD at UCLA and I was a high school sophomore(?). Watched it at some UCLA bar that is glorified in my eyes because 1) that's where we watched that amazing game, and 2) they served me beer even though I was only 16.

Other highlight was playing pick up basketball at a gym (Liberty in Ann Arbor). It has a 12 foot tall chain fence wall surrounding the court. I was on transition defense and they kicked it out to my friend who took a three, and I blocked it so hard that I threw that shit over the fence.

8th grade baseball game. I was on a semi-competitive team with a couple of my good friends but I was absolutely terrible at the sport. We were playing our "arch nemesis" (but in an Illinois type of way because we never beat them).

I can't comprehend how a respectable NBA franchise could justify offering caliperi a job. It's so blatantly obvious that his best quality is recruiting...which really only applies to college basketball.

I'd love a job on Nate silver's blog. If I could do college over I'd have majored in math and and minored in English, and gone to grad school in statistics and start my own blog. I think 538 is decent but I'd love the challenge of doing some higher level statistical modeling and then having to break it down into terms that can interest everyone
