Im basically speechless and honestly got a little teered up watching this and thinking about how many hours of my youth I wasted on this and id do it all over again. As an adult its gonna be hard for time, but im gonna have to sometimes. Todays youth has no idea what theyve been missing.

Completely agree, however I am a little hesitant as to the quality of this product.  EA has removed features from Madden over the last 10 years and only recently brought a couple back (franchise mode, create-a-team, career mode, etc).

If the game comes back with all the old features I knew and loved (create-a-school, career mode, dynasty mode, etc) while adding the player's real names (thanks NIL), then I'm sold.  It will be the first sports game I've purchased in over a decade.

I wouldn't get your hopes up.  EA is so riddled with microtransaction B.S. and have been coasting on it for a long time.  The gameplay of their newer games is absolute garbage.  While I'd like it to be actually good, I don't think it will ever compare to Denard cover NCAA 2014 unfortunately

It is absolutely fair to be concerned about an EA product over the last decade.  It's not ALL microtransaction BS from them, but I'll wait to let some folks review the game before I pony up.  Not that I have nearly as much time for videogames as I did when I used to play NCAA 05 and 06.

The word on the street is they got several people from the revamped team (People that helped modify/upgrade the last release) if this is true it will be a new game for sure. It could be the best game on the market right out of the box. That being said I would take all the old technology with new updates to playoffs, NIL, dynasty etc and would buy that no problem.

Have you played Madden recently?  If you have, you would understand why my disposition is this way.  There's a reason EA has garnered so much negative publicity.

The old games were super fun.  They've been getting worse every year.

Again, I would love to be wrong and I hope I am but we'll just have to see when the product is here.

While we dont' know about microtransactions EA has straight out said point blank this game is focused on dynasty and not UT. This is not going to be NCAA UT focused with packs and all, although they will be in the game. That in itself is a pretty good omen on how the game will go.

Gameplay has always been an issue - remember when LBs would jump 10ft in the air anytime you tried throwing over the middle?

But nothing beats the rush of landing that first 5-star recruit, turning Army into an absolute powerhouse, and watching the triple option spread back across college football 16 years into your coaching career because all your coordinators got head coaching jobs elsewhere.

In the interim, I've gone from far too young to ever be Michigan's coach to older than Michigan's actual coach.

Hoping they've figured out the balance to make recruiting engaging and realistic without being tedious

I’m absolutely stoked. I’ve been playing revamped for like two years now and it’s great, but this is going to be on another level. I’m probably going to waste more time on this game than I should.

I’m not too stressed about micro transactions. this will be my opportunity to do what Warde couldn’t and build an NIL beast that would make bezos blush

Ugh, idk but i feel like the game is gonna suck.  I have NCAA14 I still play and it's great, but the latest versions of madden are just unplayable.  So many unskippable cutscenses and micro transactions, just straight up ads in the game.

I hope it's good, even if it's like i have to disconnect the wifi to play offline and have the best experience.

EA has hinted and said repeatedly they want to make dynasty / offline a huge focus of the game. A solid offline mode without too many microtransactions would be ideal. of course, still haven't seen how the NIL or transfer portal would work but even if you have to spend more in game currency or points to buy a bigger budget...you know what I'm fine with that
