Baylor taking on Gonzaga
I have a feeling Baylor pulls this out but honestly wouldn’t be surprised if either team wins
Baylor just looks too quick!
Really enjoying timme and zags being force fed humble pie . particularly when he’s being drawn out to elbow to play d - exposed. And still preening like a dbag down 15 after a wide open layup - ha ha
The fuck humble pie are you even talking about??
I’ll generously assume tonight is the first time you’ve watched timme play
Baylor going to rip that mustache off of Timme!
Now that I’ve spent the entire first half talking shit about Gonzaga I expect them to come back and win
Surprised as athletic as Baylor is, they are a bunch of Wisconsin’esque floppers. they have taken at least 10 dives
Single digit lead would be a dub for the Zags going into half.
Was Timme in the civil war?
Yes - and he was on the losing side
Wife has Rock the Block on the other TV set, so I kind of slid in there. May be the zags can come back and make it closer.
Not over yet.
What's your guys' deal with Timme?! Facial hair?!
I think everyone hates his moustache celebration. I find it hilarious and even funnier that the dude had the audacity to do it while down 18 in this game lmao
I finally figured out who Timme reminds me of. He is Charlie Day if he was a giant douchebag .
No way Timme is Mac
I kinda like Timme's stache.
What does apple have against basketball courts?
Why did they destroy that court in that AirPods commercial
They think sports are cancer.
Here we go again...
BAYLOR IS JUST RAINING 3s in the 1st half.
Gonzaga’s only hope is to put Baylor in a boatload of foul trouble.
This is like watching that game earlier in the season when BYU shot 75% from the floor and scored 55 points in the 1st half against Gonzaga.
Yes, you read that right. 75% in the 1st half.
But in that game, Gonzaga scored ~45 points in the 1st half to stay within striking distance.
Baylor is on fire - but Zags are ripe for an epic comeback.
Agreed. Might not happen but keep this at 11, 12 at half and it's a game for sure....especially when it felt like death 10 minutes ago.
Timme is horrible on defense and I really feel like Michigan would've beaten the Zags if Juzang just missed a couple shots.
Maybe so, but that does not solve the Baylor problem.
Agree. I think we could've and would've beaten Gonzaga.
But Baylor would've been tough because their perimeter guards would play like OSU's guards did against us...
It would've been like playing 2018 Villanova.
Michigan should have put Brown on Juzang. He would have kept him under 20.
Huh? Brown lost Juzang twice in the first half and gave up threes.
Brown was the guy who gave up Juzang’s first two three-pointers by going under screens set on him. Wagner and Brooks were the two guys best-equipped to cover Juzang and I doubt either of them would have held him under 20 had they checked him for the entirety of the game.
UCLA scored 51 against us. That end of the court was not the problem.
i would have taken a 49-40 win.
I would have taken any win, sure - but you ain't winning many games with 49 points.
Um no take off your maize colored glasses. We have no offense that would’ve contended w the zags. They would’ve blown us out. UCLA has scorers, that’s why they almost won.
10 pt game. Wow. Shit is ON!!!
Gonzaga plus Officials > Baylor
You think Baylor isn't fouling?!
Also, some pretty bad non-calls
Baylor is settling for jump shots and open shots underneath the basket. Gonzaga has pressed towards the rim the last 8-10 minutes of the 2nd half.
Who watches this game and thinks Baylor is getting jobbed? every foul called against them was legitimate if not 100% obvious and they flopped twice and got the fouls called in their favor (and probably should’ve gotten two other flop warnings).
If it’s the FT disparity, it’s hard to draw shooting fouls when Gonzaga barely contests your shots.
It’s official
I don’t know shit about college basketball
great run to end the half by Gonzaga
I am mildly amazed that this is this close.
All that craziness and it's only a 10 point game into halftime...
Baylor plays like an NBA team. Never seen so many early shot clock threes. If they don’t get hot again Gonzaga could get back even by the under 16 media TO.
Edit: missed word.
Unusual to be down 10 and be the team with all the momentum, but that's where Gonzaga is. Drew looked nervous in the end-of-half interview.
Lol @ ppl complaining about refs. How is Baylor exactly going to draw fouls when they're hitting 3s at will and driving to the hoop with zero contests from the Zags' D?
I'm SO glad I don't care who wins. The officials got the word from CBS that a blowout was bad for ratings and started "helping" Gonzaga wherever they could.
Such bullshit.
