From the early years of Michigan Replay with Larry? All I could find on U-tube is an introduction to the show in '75...but it stops before the show begins. Great job Seth. It brings back good memories! |

WJR was my favorite in the 70s. They had Michigan Football, Red wings, Lions, and the Tigers. I think it was '76 when they picked Ufer's play by play from his local Ann Arbor station. The mid and late 70s were classic for WJR. Even JP use to talk to Bo on Mondays and Fridays. I'm surprised the way this station has declined in the past few decades!

But you never know how a kid will develop at the next level. We've had some past 5* RB who failed to have stellar college careers. I wish him all the best and I hope he beats out Davis for playing time at USC. One of our RBs in last year class or this years class may turn into a star RB! They should find some gaping holes given the OL Hoke and his coaches are recruiting and developing! |

When you're in the era you don't notice it! Now I look back and go whoa! I had a lot more hair back then, than I do now! Welcome to middle age! During the early and mid 80s, I never smoked much tobacco! I remember going to Michigan games while in the student section and the kids down one row from me would smoke up a storm! When I left the stadium my clothes smelled like I just left a smoke filled bar! |

I remember Mike Redford. I grew up where I could get both Detroit and Lansing Channels. Of course they were a CBS affiliate so they got to use TV2 WJBK Detroit's reporter. In fact, I was at at this game, a year after I graduated from UM! This was a heartbreaking year losing at home to MN and the team Holtz built! Up until this game everyone thought we were headed for a NC with Harbaugh and Morris! |

Move all the BCS bowl games to JAN 1, and move all the other bowl games before JAN 1. Then just playoff the winners of the BCS bowl games for the next two weeks. Most Universities don't start classes until late January, so it should not be a work load problem for those lucky schools that advance in the playoffs. Rose, Sugar, Orange, Fiesta and out of these 8 teams the odds are high that we would get a legit number 1, instead of a mythical number 1 ! |

I like the Across 110th Street theme song! When I here that song I always think of Michigan football thanks to Michigan Replay! May be my memory got mixed up...Don Shane may have done some on-field reports during the Brandy years for Michigan Replay. In the 70s we always got the ND and OSU game televised....and may be one other top pre-season game against Missouri or TAM! And of course the Rose Bowl and other bowl games after the '75 season. Most of the time being a young Michigan fan during the 70s, I had to listen to Michigan games on the radio...but during the mid and late 70s this was great with Ufer! |

I wish Tate would have kept up on his studies and stayed on the team. He would have provided some good backup QB play for Denard through 2011! Though, Gardner has the skills to turn into a great backup QB this season. Wow, hard to believe how time flies by! It seem just like yesterday when Tate wanted to go to Michigan! Everyone was psyched that we were going to get a great spread QB. Denard's recruitment was kind of quiet in comparison and everyone thought he could be a good backup spread QB with speed! |
