2 back to back road tests coming up. Season could be "over" before we even get to Sparty. Nebraska doesn't seem to be as bad as everyone thought and are itching for a dub after so many close Ls. Wisconsin will be tougher on the offense than Rutgers was and well, it's in Madison.

a loss to wisconsin and nebraska and harabugh has to be gone. The season is another failure (thats 6 in a row for those losing count) i will not count his first season as that exceeded everyones expectations. I am optimistic we can beat both teams so heres hoping that happens and it doesnt come down to a firing this early

"...you are putting your wife and family above your Michigan fandom."

And he's now and forever neutered.  LOL!!!  She'll always remember that she comes before Michigan - which is (needs to be) true, but letting her know this so early has it's own costs down the road.  Next thing he knows, he'll be cleaning out the gutters during a game wondering WTF just happened...

Wisdom after 19 years of my too good for me wife sticking with me, don't bemoan the team after you are a few PBRs into the day/evening.  I was married the day of a Notre Dame Michigan game.  There was a television in the limo.  We are watching the final seconds of the game and I state out loud, "This day sucks."  Even the groomsmen gasped.  Not my best moment.

Enjoy the day and many, many years of love, joy and laughs to you both!

I had a colleague whose fiancee scheduled their wedding for the afternoon of a UM-MSU game decades ago. It was in the pre-internet era, but my lovely wife had bought me a very expensive palm sized tv because I often had to work on Saturdays and could watch games at the office. Needless to say, I was the most popular guest at the reception.

Congrats on the wedding.  No way to predict that it would be a night game when you scheduled it.  It reminds me of my daughter being born on Nov. 20, 1999.  She held out until Michigan beat Ohio State as I watched from the hospital room.  Not to be outdone my son was born October 5th, 2002 and he waited until Michigan beat Penn St. to come into this world.  Have to plan fall babies like you do fall weddings.

FYI: I took a look at the Week 5 schedule and Nebraska has a home night game this Saturday against N'Western. It should be a must see game since we play each team consecutively.

Two other B1G 7:30 kickoffs; Indiana @ Penn State plus WKU @ Sparty.

OH State @  Rutgers at 3:30 will answer two questions; how good is Rutgers and how good is OH State?

This is a really good comment, and really makes me think, so thank you.

I actually think Michigan wanted to pass up and down the field last year and that they thought Milton had the arm to afford them that opportunity, but for various reasons it didn't work.  As a result, they didn't run the ball despite having a bevy of very good running backs.

This year, they have apparently come to the conclusion that last year was a total mistake and that we should run the ball into the hole until death do us part.

For some reason unknown to mankind, our staff apparently has not yet come to the realization that offensive powerhouses rely on a variety of run, pass and other options.
