I don't support this pink thing. I've lost close family members to breast cancer and my mom had a scare a few years ago (thankfully, a false alarm). I fully support the search for a cure and help for those suffering. However, the organization behind the pink label only donates 15% of their take for actual research. The rest is spent on marketing, litigation and other wasteful activities. There are some really good organizations that raise funds and donate nearly 100% of their take. I fully support promoting them. |
