Man, I hope this is the visit where he finally pulls the trigger. Been a long wait.
The head coach interviewing with an NFL team for the second offseason in a row and then his position coach getting canned a few weeks later is enough to give anyone pause. The wait is certainly justified.
has it really? He's a 2024 class guy, and the "early signing day" is in...December 2023? If he commits this month, as he might, that's the opposite of a "long wait".
Now if he goes to another school and we go another season with no top 100 recruits...That's time to complain.
But right now, the indicators are pretty good we get Davis, and have the potential to get another 3-5 top 100 guys. If you're recruiting for Michigan (or any school not doing pay for play), that's a massive win.
