one thing that distinguishes Harbaugh is his deep and broad ties in the coaching world (pro and college) and the apparent desire to work for him. Having assistants get HC jobs only makes it easier to attract good assistants. Given the money now available to pay coordinators Harbaugh win attract someone very good.
|3 days 15 sec ago||That was really great||
As we begin a new era of excellence The Game is back. World order is being restored. I say it all the time, I can't believe Harbaugh is our coach. I am up for a new 10 year war.
|4 days 18 hours ago||Amen||
Could not agree more
|5 days 2 hours ago||Of course not||
It is not in any way good for Michigan for MSU to be successful in the CFP. I love the BIig 10 but no.

He is much more likely to retire soon than to move to another job. Father time catches up to everyone. I am sure every SEC coach are talking about that to recuits all the time.

Traditional powers, great setting, huge audience. What's not to like. It is also a good match-up for us.
|1 week 23 hours ago||That's interesting information||
Thanks for the post. I was assuming there would be an incentive to leave as the #2 at his postion group but your post suggests there is a real incentive to stay around for another year. I am surprised at the low value the NFL apparently assigns to tight ends.
|1 week 1 day ago||If O'Korn is the real deal||
Harbaugh will say no thanks. Moot point anyway-if O'Korn is set to be the starter, Hill will go elsewhere.
|1 week 5 days ago||Maybe this Harbaugh guys||
knows something about coaching QBs. Jake's improvement has been remarkable. The future is bright my friends.

may not be the hot hire by teams looking for a new HC next year.

Whoever takes that job has a lot of work to do.

Not very popular (or that good), was replaced by Wangler. I remember when he struggled one side of the stadium would chant: "No BJ!" then the other side of the stadium would reply with: "No Dickie". Classic.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Correct||
However this season turns out he would be leaving "on top". Even though he might be arrogant enough to think otherwise, he is maxed out at MSU. Even if he doesn't achieve greater success at his next stop, he moves to retirement with one last big payday and no need to get another job. If he is going to make a final move, now is the time. Doors will be closing fast because of his age.
|2 weeks 1 day ago||Man, Brian was a tough grader this week||
"Disappointed" with giving up 6 points and 225 yards? Debating whether we might have slipped to being only the second best defense in the country? Cheer up, I think the D will be okay.
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Also exactly||
Let's have a rapper/rappist be part of the Michigan experience. The guys seem to love it so it works. Harbaugh is a celebrity and let's bring in more. Harbaugh is creating the vibe that Michigan is a cool place to be. Shall we deny MJ a field pass when he shows up to promote the program?
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Excellent||
I almost forgot what the thread was about
|2 weeks 3 days ago||Didn't seem to bother Smith||
Not saying it is a good move but something about Hoke got Smith to commit. On the other hand it is inconceivable to think that could happen to Harbaugh

Thanks for the post
|3 weeks 4 days ago||Leadership||
If Meyer was really interested in creating a positive culture he would have to take into consideration Jones' role as well. Jones, while obviously not as culpable as Barrett, allowed his friend to get behind the wheel while UI. Not a surprise of course but there is no accountability here.
|4 weeks 3 hours ago||He didn't ruin Michigan football||
he just fucked it up royally for a while. Michigan football is back. I couldn't be happier. Please resume pure joy status.
|4 weeks 4 hours ago||Exactly||
It is not the job of college coaches to prepare their players for the NFL, it is to win games for the employer. If Gailey wants to complain about the skills Smith brought to the NFL he should direct his comments to his GM

|4 weeks 2 days ago||RR to VaTech||
Beamer is holding on by his fingernails and may finally retire. I think RR could be successful there, is a better fit culturally, and the program has strong support from the administration and fans. In many ways it is a better job than Miami and AZ.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||What a great boss||
I am sure your employees enjoyed that you shared what's important to you outside of work. If I was your boss I would promote you.
|4 weeks 2 days ago||I think the impact, if any||
will be because it is now likely that MSU will go to a better bowl game, perhaps even the playoff. That gives them the ability to say they are the more successful program right now. I would think that impact is marginal at best, unless by some miracle they win the championship.

I never heard of the guy
