Absolutely. He has improved tremendously over the past three years. What is not always recognized is that he is only 21. He is still growing physically and mentally. His upside is significant. If he is given the chance to be QB2 for a year he will achieve much in the NFL for many years.
I can’t imagine why someone your age would take up snow boarding. I admire your spirit but question your judgment.
That said, get private lessons right away until you know what you are doing. Most importantly don’t try to keep up with your kids.
Their D looked good until a very mediocre Mizu team wore them down. They couldn’t put up a battle in the 4th Quarter, giving up two 90+ drives. Sound familiar?
I think that Michigan is taking the wrong approach here. Let events play out. Don’t make Harbaugh effectively choose now. He loves Michigan and is likely to stay, especially as his NFL options seemingly reduce each year. The last thing an entity needs is an unhappy leader. If he stays great. If he leaves, sad, but we now have one or more strong internal candidates at worst. Apparently, to my surprise, his flirtations don’t impact the ability to assemble a gear culture and great team. Give him the contract w/out the constraint and move on.
I strongly agree with the comment regarding the Seth's belief that "Stapelton thinks he is acting in the University's best interest". There is no reason assume good faith on Stapelton's part. The facts strongly suggest otherwise.
He’s the AD, it’s his job to be proactive. Manuel should have done a comprehensive internal review regarding program compliance as part of the response to burgergate. If he didn’t, he should be fired for incompetence. If he did, and this came up, he should have done something about it. If he did, and nothing came up, he should come out and say so and defend the program aggressively. He should be on point and be responsible and accountable. Any allegation regarding prior behavior is on Warde as well.
With all due respect Seth, that sounds like you guys are saying too bad users, suffer through it, change your browser, etc because we can’t fix this unless we change and that ain’t happening. There has to be a better plan than that.
I must say I miss the Beilein version of Michigan basketball. Guys like Teske improved over time and made substantial contributions despite limited physical talents.
Of these I would say Brown and Napier are most at risk. Day will be interesting if they lose decisively to Michigan plus lose another game or two. AD Smith is on his way out and might be willing to do the dirty work. Vrable is the coach in waiting so timing doesn’t matter.
So the maximum penalty for this horrible infraction is a 6 game suspension. The parties negotiate a 4 game suspension. Then the NCAA rejects the compromise outcome its staff negotiated. Unbelievable.
Time for new NCAA President Charlie Barker to step in get this resolved quickly.
Not a big deal. Like last year he works himself into the starting lineup mid season, only this year he is better when we take on the strength of schedule. Silver lining is others get experience and best players play down the stretch.
At a better school, my guess is no no and no. There are exceptions of course but if you are not a likely starter by your junior year a transfer probably won’t help you much. You can find a place to play but a transfer is not a ticket to the nfl.

I have no confidence that Petiti is a match for Sankey as a negotiator. The BIG10 will end up playing second fiddle to the SEC
And only 21. Still learning.

100% He is making things worse. Get rid of him. He is failing. Why Santa hasn't made a change is hard to understand.
Absolutely true.
Well that seems meaningless

Jordan Marshall is one guy you don’t have to worry about.

I wonder if he is a package deal to include Jalen Daniel? Frames needs an offense and Allar isn’t going to get them to the promised land.
Man, the next 365 days are going to be fun.
+1 for being the latest Yooper to join the Board.
Also, money for him. All of the coaches have performance incentives.
I never get tired of seeing the Allan Branch picture.
“Would take too much time”. Can’t let a silly thing like due process get in the way of a letting a mob administer its view of justice.
Hadn’t thought of this. Could happen. Glad Gus and Klatt will be on the call to describe what’s going on.
When did Brian say this?
They will have to if Michigan files a lawsuit and commences discovery.

Sad but absolutely true.
Well done Brian. Puts everything in perspective.

Cratering? Off to a slow start this year but won 11 and 9 games in 21-22.

Narduzzi is their best option among those who would actually take the job. He’s done an excellent job at Pitt.
Gold Jerry, gold!
There is a Seinfeld episode that applies to everything that happens in America today
I would take Narduzzi or Campbell over Leonard (or Tucker for that matter) all day long.

More than that they needed ticket sales. The stadium is sold out for 2023. They will give him time.
The “people with actual power” is Gene Smith, who is out the door. That definitely hurts Day.
Yes, probably should be first on the list.

The first thing they do is call Sherrone Moore’s agent, if they haven’t already.
The commentary reminds me of what people said about John Runyan.
Exactly. And remember they have 6-8 games to sort it out. Secondary will be fine.

Maybe it’s time to put away the talent gap thing away vs OSU for awhile
Okay best of luck to him and the other guys. Anybody think there are more to follow?

I haven’t watched either the USFL or XFL games yet. Is their any difference in the quality of players/games between the two leagues?
In this case “staff” means Hart.
Not going to win big at either of these spots, especially Georgetown, which is a real mess.
I’ll bet that a lot of coaches would be interested at $95million over 10 years.
Mr Hillman would like to point out that this is the second OSU/Michigan recruiting battle that went Michigan’s way this week!
Add Auburn to that list, especially their home uniforms
So correct. Made me cry, again.
