*Also add Composite Top 100 recruit and the #1 RB in Ohio and was planning on attending OSU's Spring Game*

Massive win for Mike Hart and Co.

The flood gates are beginning to open up. Buckle Up!

Will be extremely hard to pull West from OSU as he's from Cleveland Glenville and that's about as pro-OSU school as it gets. Not impossible but really hard. West is a big-time HS player

Question: Is Ted Ginn Sr still alive and affiliated with Glenville ? Haven't heard anything about him in years

We didn't recruit him at all. It was Year 1 of Rich Rod...which was a disaster.

Rather than go the Hoke route and try to transition the program in year 1, Rich Rod tried to make everything WVU in year one and he didn't have anything to make that happen.

Carr didn't help, but Rich Rod (and the people who hired him) is the main reason Michigan football was in the gutter for 10 years.

It sounds harsh, but if Michigan was going to make that drastic of a change it had to be 50% Spread/50% Pro in year 1...75/25 in year 2 and in Year 3, he could finally implement his entire program.

Still wouldn't have worked, but it would've been a lot better than the approach he took.

We immediately stopped playing with a FB and baby Boren didn't even get offered.

Which was so dumb, because when Rich Rod finally brought a more physical attack with Brandon Minor (due to McGuffie getting hurt)...he had a little success. We eventually started using TEs to lead the way for Denard...who was excellent at reading his blocks.

This is a huge head to head recruiting win over Ohio State.  Marshall is the Gatorade player of the year in Ohio, his dad a huge OSU fan and was being heavily pursued by the Buckeyes.

Downvoted for rushed and uninformative thread.

But wow, this is big, especially since we’re consider leader for Taylor Tatum, which I guess this could change. This legitimately could be our best recruiting class ever if this continues
