99% of the time Id agree with you about click bait or uninformative titles. However, this one was well worth the click and a +1. I'd of preferred HELLO: #1 RB out of Ohio Commits to UM.
Why in god’s name are you getting your panties in a twist about a celebratory post when you know damn well there will be a lengthy writeup on the front page within minutes of the news anyhow?
Considered down voting for the mean spirited comment, then realized I've posted many comments of an equally mean nature without really intending it. Then Considered upvoting to balance the onslaught against you. Then I thought of

Actually, I agree. Too much of this “Me first!” crap going on in these posts. Just take the 20 seconds to put a decent title together. If everyone takes the time to do it right, we wouldn’t have this rush to publish weak posts as quickly as possible.
I can't even imagine the t-shirt sales in Ohio at this point.

Donato's if we're putting too fine a point on it, but while we're bagging on Columbus:
Fuck their pizza. These backwood hicks cut round pizza into squares, and you have to specifically ask for pie cut like the rest of the civilized world. (Detroit pizza is rectangular so it's fine to cut that into squares) I shit you not, one time I called a pizza place for carryout, and asked for pie-cut and the yob working there did not know what I meant.
They also think Marion's piazza is PIZZA. Look it up, it'll make you nauseous.
Make no mistake about it, OSU wanted him BADLY! Huge win, can’t wait to see him in the end zone in the Big House!

Watched this guy play in the state semis and needless to say, he is really good. When I saw we wanted him, I was hoping it happened.

Kyle Kalis is the last that I can remember. But even that has a big asterisk next to it since a driving force behind his decommitment from OSU was the recruiting violations they were facing post Tressel/Pryor.
EDIT: Forgot Dymonte Thomas who was a 2013 kid. So it's been 10+ years.

Watched his highlight tape:
Pretty unusual high school running back highlight tape because there's not a bunch of long runs where he's against clearly overmatched defenses. The first couple minutes is that, but after that it's just like an endless series of one cut runs where he hits a hole extremely hard and seems like a total pain in the ass to get on the ground. Looks like Hart or Haskins in terms of style. Good short area agility but not a burner. Looks natural catching the ball out of the backfield and that high school runs a ton of nicely designed screens looks like.
Jordan has very good top-end speed-to go with his quickness and power. I've watched many of his clips and do not recall him getting caught from behind. This young man is going to be a terrific college RB.

This is awesome. I think Marshall can be special for sure. I really hope we can pull Tatum because he looks elite too. That could be an amazing combo like Corum and Edwards is.
Beating OSU for an elite kid in their state is a big deal.

With his Dad and friends being OSU fans, this feels like a situation where Michigan's style of play won a recruiting battle (which isn't something we've said a lot over the years).
He is good friends with Ted Hammond. And, this is an intelligent, articulate and thoughtful young man-oozing with character. There is an interview out there by an elder statesman of Ohio HS football coaching-and Mr. Marshall acquits himself quite well...and I thought then that he foreshadowed a commitment to Michigan.
This is a BFD in lots of ways. Onward!
