If you are an honest person, absolutely none of us wanted it to end this way. I had such high hopes and really wanted Juwan to succeed. He was never the same after he lost his mentor and friend Donnie Kirksey from Covid complications. My heart goes out to him and all the Michigan faithful. Go Blue Coach.
But it can't and it won't. So take it for what it is, a bunch of really smart people doing more than sitting behind a computer keyboard and bitching about somebody's politics. I'm sick of it. Grow the fuck up and enjoy history.
Here come the thought police with their pitchforks and flamethrowers. Stand By. And thanks for taking it for the team. The fact is, many bucknuts listen to this guy, so he speaks for a huge portion of the cooler poopers. Good on ya Mate.
How Far is Afar, since your analysis did not age well? I think hiring Chip Kelley had a lot to do with it. But the money is there also, they saved big bucks when JH did not return.
You want a Pos-Bang? Go watch the Harbaugh Brothers, my friends. Start your weekend off the right way! Come back and bang me if you think this is worth it!
Yeah I was there. The Boilers took over our house. I was amongst a shit ton of them and they were very complimentary of our facility and lamented the "good old days". When they got lippy all I said was Farleigh Dickinson and that shut them up. They are good fans. Like we used to be. BTW, I bought my barely into the upper bowl tickets for 12 bucks, and they were selling for 7 yesterday. We played well. The boys did not quit and scrapped the whole game. *Sigh*
I listened to it on CKLW driving from Ann Arbor to Traverse City. That was a Friday, I believe. Coming home from UM for the weekend. I stopped in Claire at the rest area as the signal was fading, listed to us win, drove home, told everyone we won, my Dad went out and bought a bottle of Stoli to rub it in the faces of the Russkies after we won. I got several mean stares and "you little shit, you lied" type comments until the last 2 minutes of the game replay. Then we got bombed and jumped into the Boardman River after taking a sauna. Don't know how I lived through all these great moments! It was a paradigm shift in how the US thought about itself and how the world viewed us as opposed to the Russkies. We could use one of those now. Any ideas?
Card and chocolate delivered upon waking up today. Off to work. Coming home tonight to cook a gourmet dinner of lobster tails and beautiful ribeye steak. Asparagus salad key lime pie. And then let Cupid do his thing.
Last statement (and certainly more) is definitely incorrect. If you had listened to Sam Webb, he had 3 top 10 defenses at Baltimore. 2020 changed a lot of things. Put someone in the right position with the right attitude and exceptional talent, which is undeniable, and LFG.
My Dad took me to a Michigan game in 1969 when I was 11 years old. No it was not the Ohio State game. But I fell in love with EVERYTHING MICHIGAN and I was hooked at that point. I graduated from UM in 1981. I have had my own season tickets since then, but now I sit in the same seats my father bought in 1969 (I had them transferred to me prior to Dad's passing in 2011), so the family butt has been there for 55 years this fall. I live in Fort Wayne and make the trek every home game and many away. Also attend the other sports as well from time to time. Almost all my friends are the people I have met that sit together in Michigan Stadium. We are an awesome bunch and get together many times during the year outside of football. I Love Michigan, as does my converted Hoosier Wife, now an MGoWife of 31 years.
Ummm, was he not DC in Baltimore with the number one defense, then 3, then 7th in the NFL, with assistants MacDonald and Minter? Or am I imagining that?
I hope he reads this and fires himself. He's got to recognize he just doesn't have the talent, desire or drive to LEAD. I heard his interview on WTKA and he sounded half in the bag and making excuses. He had that chip that someone else spoke of on another thread. We are being driven into oblivion AGAIN by an inept AD in a long line of inept AD's. Exception being our "interim" AD Jim Hackett, a LEADER. Which is what we need to move forward. Success is 90% preparation, and as the OP so poignantly noted, that is what is completely lacking. And I am disgusted such an opportunity has come and gone. 43 year season ticket holder here. If that carries any weight.
I am literally sick to my stomach. Thanks Warde. Too late for a Warde vax, this disease could prove fatal to Michigan athletics, let alone football. Total failure to accomplish the objectives of the job.

That aged well.

That is snark. Totally unnecessary. He has a great point that SOME of us considered to be a factor. And I for one am very happy about this.

Yes, I thought the same. I guess nobody Pos-Bangs like they used to.

Bad Santa could be a real thing?
Fuck off NCAA
Just got my Detroit Free Press Maize Grande book today. It's freaking awesome.
I can't wait for the time when there's an all- human talk radio station. But that's probably like 300 years into the future.

There is no pandemic so we are more clearly focused. Clearly.
Let's Science the SHIT out of this.
And no gold pants to trade later for tats.
UCLA would like a word with you.
I like your list, I have also a special place for Donovan. 4 huge smiles in two years and lots of big ones.

Dude. Damn it's so dusty in this room.....
No Cheeseburgers for Toni.

Perhaps Jake for the win?
Meanwhile, I bought my Purdue Michigan tickets for 12 dollars. Jesus.
We'll see.
That wasn't nice. True, but not nice.

Early to bed...
It's for ONE (1) season. Geez.
Except at the other BIG schools.
LOL. OSU folks melting down. Beautiful.
Think for yourself, Man.
This is kind of a big deal, nothing to joke about. This is a huge step for Michigan and I for one am very happy about it.

Blessed. Go Blue!!
Sal, this is a bad take. You need to do your research not at 12:19am.

The one where the players enter the portal?
Mob mentality. This is why......well, I will stop here. You get the gist.

I just fast forward to the last 4 minutes of each game and it does me good. 'Cause that's when the BOA crushes it's prey.
