And yet, even on this monumentally bad day, he was still the 13th pick in the NFL draft, guaranteeing he'll be a multi-millionaire. All he has to do now is STOP FUCKING UP AGAIN! His nearly unique physical makeup allows all of his past fuck ups to be swept away in one go. He will be fine, more than fine, at least he should be.

In these analogies, Ole Miss is the UNC women's basketball team. Compared to A&M, LSU, Bama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, Ole Miss is expendable, and the SEC would probably be smart to let them burn.

Adults should have the right to their own image and its value, whatever that may be. No reason to take this away from athletes.

Even in the SEC, there is no reason at all for Arkansas, Kentucky, Missouri, Tennessee or Vanderbilt to individually vote for that ban. Outlying schools already in the SEC or ACC have more reason to vote for the camps than the Sun Belt teams do, since they can't really be punished by the SEC. Those five programs have already been screwed by the SEC's ban, so this could be their chance to switch it off and make things easier on themselves.

I get the feeling Hugh doesn't really recruit that much. At Ole Miss, the bagman does the recruiting, so having to actually do some leg work himself in recruiting comes off as being new to him.

This is just MSU rattling its cage and trying to assure itself a spot in the conference title game every year by getting away from the Big Two.

Only OSU and MSU fans want Harbaugh to leave UM, and you're clearly one of them.

He may suck at his job, but what good could Delany do here? The commissioner has to speak with 14 voices, so he's destined to come off exactly like Sankey. Best that he stays as far from this as possible.

You're struggling with this because you don't like having your logic questioned, but you're presenting questionable logic.

Sure, it's possible to differentiate between the different types of non-countable hours. If they spend 30+ min-countable hours a week anyway, who cares if 12 are spent traveling? In fact, a lot of the kids will probably be watching film or studying the playbook on the flight.
|10 weeks 4 hours ago||I hear you, but the travel||
I hear you, but the travel time is no more of a grey area than watching film or having workouts outside of coach contact time. If they really "work" 50 hour weeks every week, which I believe they probably do, then 30 are unpaid every week in that analogy.

Travel from class or home to practice isn't counted though. None of that time is relevant to countable hours.

If you look at the combined response to Penn State, Tennessee and spring break, the NCAA is saying here, "We're really just not against rape of any kind; if football dudes want to bang pretty much any genre of person they reeeeally shouldn't be, we're OK with it. In fact, we'll apply our rules in a way that makes it just a bit easier for them to do so."

That's really only been true since the hoops program got nuked. Before that M had one of the only, if not the only, pairs of elite football and basketball programs in college sports.
