I went to 04 game in CH when I was in grad school at UNC. Reddick was at Duke, and we lost on a last second shot. In any case, noise level was deafening the entire game. Never been to a louder sporting event in my life.
UM OSU in football, UNC Duke bball are best rivalries in their respective sports.

About 1/2 inch of ice everywhere. MUCH less chaotic than last time bc no one is on the roads. Hope Charlotte learned from our incompetency in dealing w the last storm.
Hope they still play Duke/UNC, go Heels!!

Anyone saying the n word with the 'er' ending or 'a' ending deserves to get punched in the face.

Neither do 95% of D1 football players. That's an official number.

A mixer sixer for me (featuring Rogue Hazelnut Nector) and a Red Hare (Marietta GA) saison with apple spice for my lighter beer drinking Super Bowl hosts.

Our fearless governor who's inaction accelerated this mess, IS a hick. Press conference of national interest and he's saying "winduh", "tomorruh", and "y'all" multiple times like a backwoods retard. Enunciate your words moron.

It does matter. RWD doesn't work driving uphill in roads w an inch of ice. I have FWD, but was in the hell yesterday.

More and more, I picture football players as gladiators in the Coliseum. For so many players, life after 40 is a living hell.
|25 weeks 6 days ago||Pay||
For the simple reason that there is so much uncertainty of who's playing by the rules (running a clean program) and who's cheating (paying players), I would LOVE to "lift the curtain" so to speak so everyone is playing by the same rules.
The fact that one school could be winning conference titles and championships on the back of player payments, while a rival is running a clean program really bothers me and frankly, is dampening my interest in college football.
College football needs transparency. "Good guys" running clean programs get penalized and rewarded. It's like steroid use in baseball vs guys not using, at least until they cleaned that up.

The guy is a joke. He's got to have one of the most difficult recruiting jobs out there, assuming rival schools use negative recruiting.

For what most football players are looking for in regards to "academics", I can't really see a major difference between colleges. You're going to get quality instruction most anywhere you go. By "name", yes, UM would be superior, but if he actually applies himself to the academic part of school, would he get noticeably superior education from one school opposed to another?
Most major university faculty members are more focused on research and publication than they are with teaching classes anyway.

If you are over 18, and tweet recruits (without a job description that calls for it):
1. Sit down if not already.
2. Log off twitter.
3. Set aside a minimum of 30 minutes to evaluate your life, and priorities.
4. Watch "To Catch a Predator" b/c you will inevitably find yourself in a similar situation.
5. Realize the error of your ways.
6. If you do not come to that realization, contact local law enforcement...trust me, it will be for the betterment of your community.
If you FOLLOW recruits (without a job description that calls for it):
1. Follow steps 4-5 above.
Following is not as bad as actually interacting with teenagers, but realize you're walking a fine line.
You're welcome in advance.
This is my first post, and yes, I'm not just on my soapbox right now, I'm stomping on it.
