3 weeks 4 days ago	So maybe I missed it, but...	So maybe I missed it, but when did the half-empty student section become a thing? When I went (00-04), the student section was always almost full by kickoff, and I don't remember it being an issue after that until about 2-3 years ago where you'd see the hugely vacant sections of empty student seats.  I'm legitimately asking. Is there some sort of logic or change behind students suddenly not showing?

19 weeks 2 days ago	Watched the game...	Watched the game with a girl who had never watched UM before. She asked why our numbers were neon yellow.  That's a fail in my book.
25 weeks 4 days ago	Hate how...	Hate how CBS doesn't allow their videos to be streamed on an iPad. Want to send this video to the dad, but his only "computer" is an iPad and the CBS site re-directs you to their $5 app and this link doesn't display the video at all.  Guess I'll wait til it hits youtube.
25 weeks 4 days ago	Don't assume...	Don't assume  all east-coasters are for this. I would rather have to travel for a more legitimate college Saturday experience, than allowing a couple semi-commuter schools into the conference.
33 weeks 4 days ago	I'm sadly old enough to remember...	I'm sadly old enough to remember Park Avenue Country club in NYC being the alum bar, which was actually big enough to hold most of the UM alums. Since it closed (I think 4-5 years ago), we've been crammed into 2-3 smaller bars with lots of alums sill getting rejected off and spilling out into the surrounding Cal/Oregon/Florida bars.

1 year 25 weeks ago	Let's talk about everyone else in the country...	I don't get how many people are listing MSU #2 in the rivalry dept. Sure, if you're in-state, it might mean a lot to talk trash to your buddy from Deerfield.  But the ND game is a national rivalry. Even my non-UM/ND friends tune into that one from wherever they are.  It's #1 Ohio, #2 ND then a huuuuuuuuuge gap, then #3 MSU.

2 years 33 weeks ago	Ha!	This is like one of those situations where a parent has to say they love all three of their kids equally, but there's an obvious favorite. Right now, if it's a close game, the only way Tate sees time is as a punter. Seriously, he's prob the best we've got right now.
2 years 38 weeks ago	I think it's a double-edged sword...	I think it's a double-edged sword. As a UM alum, I welcome fans who have no connection to the University, so long as their not fair-weather. However, I hate people who do the same thing for other teams. When I say I went to UM and someone tells me they like ND, but they've got no connection to it or haven't ever even been to South Bend, I think "I want to kill this fair-weather fan!"

And we know in college, we should be lucky if even one of these guys does it. I just hope it's the guy with the highest ceiling, Garden.

3 years 37 weeks ago	I think there's a 75% chance...	that we don't have Forcier, Gardner, and Robinson on the same team at the same time. These are three guys who are too good to have one of them as backup. Someone will rise to the top and get most of the snaps, and someone will inevitably decide to push their draft stock up somewhere else or commit elsewhere for a chance to start three years. Strictly business.
3 years 38 weeks ago	Exactly.	It's probably because our changes are so subtle, that no one has thought to throw together a history of it. I'm sure schools that change uniforms every year (couch, couch, Oregon) have prob tracked the changes better.
3 years 38 weeks ago	I will back this one up...	from my Freshman year on, one of my friends SWORE up and down that this would actually happen and that people would sit outside the door late at night. It became somewhat of an urban legend at UM.
