IU bball fan here, IMO Burke has been the best player in the conference thus far. When Zeller is on he's tremendous, however his inconsistency within games has been a point of concern. Conversely Burke is an absolute rock. If the season ends tonight he begrudgingly gets my B1G and national POY votes. |

Over at WolverineNation Rothstien wrote that "Hoke said Monday that the plan had always been to have Gardner play quarterback in 2013..." Ya right! If that were the case he would've had him ready to go for Neb -- i don't care if Gardner had been playing receiver all year, Denard was walking around campus the week prior with a cast on his throwing arm! Clearly, the coaches knew there was a high potential for a game-ending injury, and entrusted Bellamy over Gardner. Hoke, and the rest of us, believed Russel Bellamy was going to be the man next year. That is, until Gardner reminded us all what a stud he really is. But nice try looking suave Hoke. I love you, but not playing Gardner vs. Neb was ridiculous. Not having more confidence in Gardner was ridiculous. We should have been smooth sailing to the B1G championship right now |
