| 18 hours 8 min ago | This is so appalling and |
This is so appalling and laughable to me. It's only laughable because I have seen this movie before in real-life and I can imagine the thought process of this kid. I played high school football with several kids just like this and it is really sad. Some kids from the inner city could care less about an opportunity when it is right in front of their face. The few standout kids on our high school team would get letters and pulled out of class for visits from coaches and I would see them on the street and at parties just acting lawless and untouchable. The crazy thing is that is what made them great football players, but in the end they loved the street life more than football and an opportunity to have a better life. In my opinion, this is due to 1. misguidance, but 2. by fear of the responsibility of having to grow up and leave the loyalty of the streets and the people that have been with you from day one, but don't have the same opportunities. It's a difficult thing to teach a kid the value of separating themselves from the negative people around them. If he is talented enough to get an offer from Staee, he is a good enough football player to have paved a whole new course for your life, but those blunts and your friends and apathy can make you say f**k it. So sad. |

Was so hoping the Mavs would get lucky even though their sights are set on CP3. Trey could be a better shooting version of him in 3 years. Hopefully they take Timmy, or trade up for Burke. |

Yea, once they post the best of mike and mike podcast sometime later today. That's what I'm waiting on. Got to my desk at 8:15 CDT. Heard Golic in next segment still trying to defend the ND perspective and Greeny pointing out the obvious facts and telling him it makes absolutely no sense to keep Purdue over Michigan. EDIT: Interview up now on espnradio homepage http://espn.go.com/espnradio/play?id=9281370 |

| 1 week 16 hours ago | Derrick Green, Drake Harris, |
Derrick Green, Drake Harris, now this (presumably)! I can't help but to be reminded of Dee Hart and Sammy Watkins slipping through RR's hands. While it would be nice to have Laquon Treadwell as a target this fall, Brady continues to amaze me in selling the family culture and tradition of excellence and closing out these recruits. |

I still say Cain Coulter was short on 4th and 1. That's when I knew Ross was for real. Spring videos look like he has made major strides which is scary! |

| 1 week 6 days ago | Everyone loved Purdue going |
Everyone loved Purdue going into last year so this means nothing to us that know team 134 or 135 have national championship potential with the talent cupboards so loaded. |
| 3 weeks 12 hours ago | It would be nice if |
It would be nice if outstanding football recruiting reaped immediate benefits as is the case in basketball. Burke's value was obvious, but without the difference McGary made to the lineup, we would not be as optimistic as we are, especially considering how most of us probably felt after losing to PSU and the MSU blowout. The sweet 16 seemed like this team's ceiling. After winning a Sugar Bowl, those warm and tingly feelings were being stroked by yet another outstanding class put together by Coach Hoke pooping gold. Alabama quickly dashed those hopes. Perhaps, though, getting ND at home will spur the boys on to an undefeated non-conference and inject some confidence into a team who was in every game but one last year and is better at QB. If Ohio can take advantage of an easier non-conference to work out their kinks and run the table, there is no reason that Michigan cannot do the same. There's no doubt watching last years team that they have caught up to both Ohio and ND talent wise and could soon pass them with superior coaching. |

| 4 weeks 9 hours ago | Coach Mattison has so much to |
Coach Mattison has so much to do with an average secondary being in the top 5 or whatever it was this past year, but players play and we lost our best corner in game one. Kovacs deserves a ton of credit for that. My guess is he its always around the ball in training camp drills and definitely makes a roster if for nothing else as a special teamer and probably thrives in the role. |

I would think your guess at ride the pole is as as any. Favorite Ross play to date was 4th down stop of Cain Colter incorrectly ruled a first down. |
| 7 weeks 2 days ago | From my experience, some |
From my experience, some people on this blog comment way too much and take the self moderating responsibility way too seriously. They are like the pharisees and saducees that thought there was no way this Jesus could possibly have a relevant opinion. I went through it in the early days of posting. I was born at osu medical center, but have always loved Michigan, but I couldn't expect anyone here to understand what that's like and many have hated on my name at times even though we all refer to tsio as Ohio now. Fortunately for me, I was able to move to Dallas 2 years ago and am no longer in that hole that is Columbus, and have been to Cowboys Stadium 3 times now in the past year. |
| 7 weeks 6 days ago | My seats are in the 300 |
My seats are in the 300 section which means I will have to rely on screen watching even more than the bama game. I'm more confident that I will have occasions to cheer this time around. Really hoping for some redemption. Thus should be a great way to bookend our fiscal sports calendar in what the locals affectionately refer to as the death star. |
| 8 weeks 3 days ago | On the road back to Dallas |
On the road back to Dallas from visiting my family in Columbus. So excited to see Michigan get a second opportunity in the Death Star to achieve greatness in the same fiscal year. |

Great, now I have to adjust my DVR settings. Edit: Maybe not, this game will be over quickly and the fianl may be in the 40's. |
| 9 weeks 6 days ago | Has anyone other than Trey |
Has anyone other than Trey Burke lead the team in scoring in any game? I'm thinking there may have been 1 game where GRIII scored 25+ in a blowout, but I am having a hard time remembering...probably because there was actually none.. |
| 10 weeks 2 days ago | Woodson, Denard, Hart, |
Woodson, Denard, Hart, Braylon and Trey top 5 if you held a gun to my head. |
| 10 weeks 2 days ago | Stating the obvious, but WR |
Stating the obvious, but WR is the only position where there is not ridiculous depth. Coach Borges' downfield playaction game was a beautiful sight to behold at times once Devin took over, and that without any real run game or an elite receiver to set it up. I think Coach Saban himself would have to raise his eyebrows when/if this becomes a position of strength. |
| 10 weeks 2 days ago | Idk if I would want to see |
Idk if I would want to see Burke's potential final game in Maize matched up against Larkin. That dude is Trey Burke on steroids in terms of speed getting to the basket. He might look like the far superior PG on the floor even though Burke's all around game is so polished. |
| 10 weeks 5 days ago | 1 - Intangible recruiting |
1 - Intangible recruiting benefits. 2 - Denard deserves it. Won't be remembered as a great QB- but should long be remembered as a Michigan icon of this era. Thought this voting was silly at first and there are honestly more deserving players this year than Denard, but I voted for these 2 reasons. |

| 10 weeks 6 days ago | I'm an accountant, but I can |
I'm an accountant, but I can only comprehend the graphs you ' put up on this about 50% of the time. This made more and more sense to my simple brain as I saw the subsequent examples. Hoke's depth in the middle can clearly be seen and felt I think by us observers. I'm sure we all feel and hope that Hoke (and Mattison) have dime Beilein magic with average players and are now getting more elite talent that will make Michigan national contenders soon. |
| 11 weeks 4 hours ago | The thread was my play by |
The thread was my play by play during class while watching the gamecast. While they were saying exactly what I was thinking, i would never actually say most of that stuff during a game because it's sunniest to change, like it did, and you don't want your pessimism to perhaps jinx the action. I was embarrassed to be reading for a while. Just glad when I shut it off and paid attention to the prof door a while I came back to a closer score and ultimately a win. Living watching it now and looking forward to Sunday. |
