but your pee is just a little too wet...

Last fall, went to Venice, Florence, and Rome with my wife. Left the kids with the in-laws and had an amazing time. All are VERY different places. Venice is just unlike anything you've seen (and you WILL get lost multiple times). All were great.

Your dreams were your ticket out
Welcome back to the place we all used to laugh about
Well the names have all changed since you've been around
but the dreams have remained and they're turned around
Who'd have thought they'd lead you (who'd have thought they'd lead you)
back here where we need you (back here where we need you)
Yeah we tease him a lot 'cause we got him on the spot, welcome back
welcome back, welcome back, welcome back...

nobody called for a HIPAA violation. HIPPA, on the other hand...
I've actually had arguments with people who were firmly convinced that it was HIPPA.

I used to say NYC bike messenger by day and Broadway star by night.
I've settled (so far) on being a director at my global consultancy. Not a bad gig, but not sure I'd call it perfect - maybe my "very good fit" job :P

will likely be the 2018 Buick Regal TourX, used, so purchasing in mid-late 2018, right before the 2019's come out.
I have always liked wagons over SUVs/CUVs, but this provides the additional ride height that my wife likes.
If I could have a second (for myself, third for the family) car, it would be some sort of small, nimble sports car/coupe. Maybe something like the Subaru BRZ / Toyota 86.

then what is it? the softball team comprised of students from the university we attend(ed) or otherwise support?
it's not like he was writing "we" about the team's performance.

he could've let his brother drive his bride around in an Aston Martin from the church to the reception - forget the limo!

Chevy Nova - "no va" in Spanish translates to "not going"
Yugo - the joke my uncle (a mechanic for 30+ years now) always told me was "Yugo, you no come back"

Honeymoon in Tahiti in 2003, wanted to rent a car to tool around the island of Moorea. They had the "expensive" options, which were all newer Fiat Pandas. Asking if there was anything cheaper, they said they had just one manual transmission Panda. We took it for less than half the fee of the other cars, and we quickly discovered why - EVERYTHING was manual - windows, locks, seats, no A/C, no radio. And it was probably 10+ years old then. It was a piece of junk, but got us around the island with no issues.
Business trip to the Bay Area back in 2007 or so. Was pleasantly surprised to have received a Subaru Outback XT as my rental car at SFO. Talk about a blast to drive. Sure, I would've preferred the Legacy GT wagon and a manual transmission, but that was still pretty cool.
Business trips to Wichita around 2014. In order, received the following cars
Newest car I ever got was during a 2016 business trip to Atlanta - Jeep Grand Cherokee with 17 miles on the odometer. During that project, also ended up with a Dodge Caravan and Mazda 5, among other cars.
The only other hybrid I ever received was on a 2015 business trip to Eugene, OR. Had a Kia Optima Hybrid. Compared to the Prius, very much like driving a normal car. You can barely tell it's a hybrid.

The article is date-stamped April 7. I've just been out of town for work and didn't see every front-pager this past week.

It's still early, so would expect somewhat of a spread, but anywhere from 50 to almost 400 is pertty significant.

fastest is my 93 MR2 Turbo. lightly modded to 14.3psi (1bar), which is higher than the stock boost of about 7psi. improved about 10-15 rwhp over stock. theoretically, that put it at about a 5.7 second 0-60.
slowest was my 91 Honda Accord with 114 hp.

if they can do all those things, they can be a top 15 team. but until proven otherwise...
also, Mo and DJ are great, but shown to be inconsistent. if they can put it together and consistently play well, the front court can be fearsome.

Although his foray at Michigan didn't go so well, he seems to know what it takes to win at small private schools (Seton Hall, Harvard). He took Harvard to 4 straight NCAA tournament appearances. Their only other appearance was in 1946. He may not reach the heights from the 80s, but consistent NCAA tournament appearances and occasionally a 2nd weekend appearance could be in the cards.
Didn't realize that John Thompson III hadn't made it past the first weekend since the 2006-07 season.
Also, looks like a lot of Hoya fans are on the Tom Crean bandwagon, with a large contingent of #AnyoneButAmaker folks. Crean also had success at a catholic university (Marquette) before heading to IU. Might be a good move, and they can hang out with John Harbaugh.

A. maybe he just likes the sports drama, and is a basketball fan in general. I don't have to be a fan of a fan of a team to appreciate that.
B. I could see your analogy making sense if his point were that UCONN are still winners and the best despite losing. in this case, the other team actually won the game. no moral victories here.
C. Good for them next season. for this season, they were great, but the crazy won streak is broken, which I think was the op's point.
|3 weeks 2 days ago||I have unc winning it all,||
I have unc winning it all, and they're my only remaining final four team. If unc wins tonight and Gonzaga loses, I am assured of winning the money pool. If unc and Gonzaga both win, it will come down to the championship game. If Gonzaga beats unc, I come in third.
First place gets 392, second gets 112, third gets 56.
In short, my rooting interests tonight are unc and usc.

and interpretations by the commentariat.
if you think of it in terms of magnitude of the upgrade relative to previous state, I can see that Illinois probably did better. But in terms of absolute expected performance/outcome, it could be that Indiana is in better shape. To put it into a crude hypothetical numerical scale, it'd be like Illinois starting at a 20/100 and IU starting at 50/100. Illinois may have improved 50 points to 70/100 while IU improves 30 points to 80/100. UI gets a bigger upgrade, but IU still ends up being a "better" team.
It seems the concensus, at least, that IU has the higher floor and higher ceiling, although UI has much more room to improve.

that said, get over it. seeing the blood and other stuff is one thing, but remember that seeing it is way more pleasant than having to go through it. so get over it and just do what needs doing. take your cues from your wife, nurses, and doctor. don't push back, argue, or suggest alternatives. just do it.
