Coach Jim Jacked to Start His New Year
Short clip in which Coach Jim can barely contain the enthusiasm with which he is attacking his first day of volunteer offseason training with the Chargers' players.
He is absolutely brimming with excitement. I think he is ecstatic that he doesn't have to deal with all of the NCAA/Big Ten/and other sources of bull manure in the college game. He is competing on a level playing field and that is his passion as he so transparently exudes.
Lions players say the same about MCDC, what you see is what you get.

He doesn't appear any more muscular than usual.
Sorry, in the way Jared was jacked:
Uhhh phrasing?
Take off your pants and jacket
”+1 Blink182” is not an award often given out. Congrats sir
I was like, "Who is Jim Jacked? I've never heard of him."
Then I realized that "jacked" is the adjective, not the surname.
Then I realized that you were using "jacked" as a verb and I threw up in my mouth a little.
Hey, we all wish we could start the year off on a good foot/hand/uhhh
Are we not doing that anymore?
coach jim is that way about everything. walking, drinking milk, driving his RV, you name it.
Drinking milk with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.
An enthusiasm well-known to MGoBlog
He might be enthusiastic about drinking whole milk and driving an RV, but let's be real here. Jim has a whole other level of enthusiasm reserved just for football.
And following the advice of Bo, he got himself a fullback, Ben Mason:

This is why Jim left. He just wanted to hang out with Ben Mason and talk about how good it feels to hit somebody in the mouth on the gridiron
The least surprising thing in the world is a Harbaugh being enthused
I want to see him showing off that 15-0 tat with an enthusiasm unknown to mankind.
Shirts with collars in that material should be outlawed from being manufactured. They never lay right.
I have spent many moons searching for a good polo. Any suggestions?
Shockingly, H and M
Sounds like he has a lot to do to turn around the culture of the team. The Chargers ranked 30th in the latest NFLPA Players Poll in which players graded their own teams in various categories.
Thank you for not swearing! 🙂
Did he ever smile like that when coaching us? kinda /s
Appreciate the joke and take no umbridge but feels like yeah, OSU 2021 and then this entire season (except for spots when the NCAA/Pettiti were trying to dump on our success). Nothing like new car smell after crushing it in your last job.
Is it just me or does his teeth look whiter now. The dentists in Ann Arbor must suck.
Maybe he switched to synthetic chaw
I am geeked for the spring game featuring the winged helmets. JH chose to leave, and I chose to move on without him. I wish him well but won’t really follow him unless he is opposing the Lions and I will root against.
I appreciate everything he did here, but now he can poop in his hat. I refuse to root for the Chargers.
Ben Herbert also had a 30 minute press conference. The man’s intensity is off the charts. There’s no way you can fully replace that.
We can only hope that enough of him rubbed off on his understudy/protege that we get 75%-80% of what we had.
But you're right, you can see it in his eyes, the intensity and focus.
What about the chickens? Are they adjusting??
Level playing field? He was coaching at michigan, not eastern michigan lol. He had more resources than 99% of other programs. He benefitted from the unleveled playing field.
True, and yet we see what the Nuts have done, hiring Bjork from Texas A&M and rostering the best college football athletes money can buy. In the pros, there's a cap that levels the field.
There is something fundamentally wrong with "LA Chargers". The extortionist, sellout Spanos family ownership ruined my lifelong fandom. I watched the drama up close for a decade living in SD, and they did the region wrong first demanding an ocean-front stadium and eventually deciding to become a tenant of the Rams. Because of JH I will follow the team, but "interest" is the limit of my engagement. IMHO, anything related to JH and Chargers is now OT.
preach. the murph (aka Qualcomm) was a great stadium with decent accessibility. it was also my favorite stadium to play in.
But did he hire CS to hack the in-helmet comm system?
