It's hypothetical but you wouldn't want to dramatically alter the rotation at this point of the season. Payne is a talented player who fills a need, he could slide in by absorbing the Morgan / Horford minutes (providing an upgrade) and stealing some minutes from the other front court players. |

Held my breath while Rumeal hit the free throws and loved every minute of the Fab Five era, but this may be my favorite team of all. |

My heart is pounding, Trey MF Burke! |
| 10 weeks 5 days ago | Agree but... |
Obviously a lot can / will change between now and signing day but I'd be ok with 3 if we somehow avoid significant injury (or other attrition) with the OL depth chart. 4 is better but I wouldn't turn down a better player at another position just to take a lesser lineman. AJ Williams still could outgrow TE and IIRC there have been some fairly talented walkons the past few years. |

is the last significant UM contributor from Brother Rice that I can remember. Might be missing someone but they usually end up at MSU. There were two high level prospects a few years back that both went out of state, a tackle to Tenn. and a LB to Penn St if I remember correctly. |

Glad it's over... Great performance by Trey Burke, what a player! |
| 16 weeks 5 days ago | Awesome |
It really doesn't matter, but it kinda matters... a nice boost going into the February gauntlet of at Indiana, Ohio, at Wisconsin, at MSU, Penn St., Illinois and at Penn St. Survive that with 1 or possibly 2 losses and #1 ranking / #1 seed / B1G title are all but assured. |

Leaving the Braylon game early. Not leaving the 2001 Citrus Bowl beatdown vs. Tennessee early enough. |
| 31 weeks 5 days ago | Definite HOF |
Not to nitpick but Ogden's a definite hall of famer. He was just nominated for first time in September and may go in on first ballot. Awesome player, prototype tackle for the modern game. |
| 32 weeks 4 days ago | Agree about Izzo's rep |
You cant argue with his accomplishments but he probably should have taken the pro money and ran a few years back. With the sleeping giants awakening in Ann Arbor and Bloomington, they'll take a step back and he won't be the beneficiary of (quite as much) media fluffing. |

There are very few things that I find shocking anymore, but I was trully shocked a few years back when I found out that Steve Sabol was not in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. I know his father is and I've heard a lot of talk today that it's almost a package deal but I'm hard pressed to think of anyone more deserving... player, coach, owner, administrator, broadcaster, journalist. Who was better at their job and did more for NFL football than Steve Sabol??? |

Like Earl Campbell... with speed. |
| 37 weeks 8 hours ago | Denard |
Interesting question... both are very productive players but are somewhat limited because they're not the prototype for their position. Denard's not a pure passer and Kovacs got some athletic limitations in coverage. The QB replacement options will almost certainly be less productive (individually) in the short term but should allow Michigan to run a purer version of Borges's offense and better utilize the skill position players. There's good, young talent at safety already on the roster and more on the way. You'll lose consistency and leadership but probably gain range and athleticism. Jarrod Wilson and Dymonte have the potential to be the best safety pairing since Ray & Hendricks if they develop over the next few years. I'll say we'll miss Denard most just because the O Line is looking so unertain next year and he's got the ability to make so many things happen on his own. |
