Michigan at Nebraska scheduled for prime time
As expected, Nebraska has made this a night game. 7:30 ET kickoff.

Yayyyy.......
That game concerns me a lot more than it should. Has the vibe of Scott Frost knowing his job is on life support and he needs to show something that warrants him keeping his job, so he pulls out all the stops and literally empties the cupboard to beat Michigan, and all his players rally around him in a public display of support days before the game in a "Let's win this one for Coach Frost" kind of mentality.
I know Nebraska is awful, and even when they show signs of winning a big game, they implode all over themselves and blow it. But Michigan has been a completely different team on the road for years, and not in a good way.
That game could very well come down to who makes the least amount of mistakes. Or who makes the last mistake that sets the other team up with a short field to go ahead late.

Michigan football has traditionally been very giving to opposing coaches that are on life support. The Nebraska game worries me as well. As does MSU. But I actually think we will come out with a win against Wisconsin. Yeah, I am a bit sideways.

This year would be a great year to kill the "Harbaugh can't win big games on the road" narrative.
If not now -- when?

Never this is going to finally be the nail in the coffin year. He’s had his chance and did jack squat.
thank you.

Good to hear. Had more or less planned this scheduling an early morning appointment that day. Glad I won't need to cancel it.

Unless you were blind watching the game on Saturday, Martinez should scare the crap out of Michigan fans. We play soft coverage so throws are made easier and we apparently really suck against semi mobile quarterbacks, much less a mobile one like Nebraska and Maryland have. Look what an average ass quarterback did to our defense.
Kenneth Walker rushed for a grand total of 61 yards on their defense so let’s not pretend that we are going to run all over them. Unless we operate more like the first half Rutgers (and add more to that) we are doomed the rest of the season other than probably Northwestern. I’m hoping this was just a bad second half performance and we come out against Wisconsin and show what an explosive offense we have. It’s not that we don’t have playmakers, we’ve shown the speed, it’s the failure to utilize them properly. A night game at Nebraska will not be a cake walk.

I don't know. I'm not so worried about Nebraska. Martinez is their leading passer AND leading rusher. He has more than twice as many yards rushing as their #1 RB.
State has not looked so good on defense. And I didn't watch that game. So I don't know how Nebraska lost while having dominated the stats.
But it looks like if you pin your ears back, and go after Martinez all the time, you will beat Nebraska, as it looks like they don't have anything else to fall back on.

Was hoping for 3:30.

We only play there once a decade so might as well be a night game

I love Michigan late games. :-)

What is wrong with you people? Day game, night game, Michigan is going to grind that team into the turf.

Don't really care so much about the time of the kickoff as long as their mics are picking up everything audible to help us keep track of the 'hitting hardest' score.

Earlier, I thought this would be a for sure win. But NE D has a pulse and played well on the road at MSU. NE should have won the game but their special team play chocked. I have now moved it to toss up and given Harbaugh night game record on the road, I'm now leaning this night game on the road as one of our losses.

Nebraska will be Rutgers on steroids (perhaps literally). We better take the lessons we hopefully learned from the Rutgers game and make some fundamental adjustments.

In looking at the comments on this thread it already sounds like Michigan lost to both Wisconsin and Nebraska. I didn't know these games have already been played. So much for optimism.
