OT: Confess your unpopular opinions
A couple days ago a hashtag made the rounds on twitter that implored users to share opinions they have that aren't the most popular. We've had some quality confession threads in these parts before:
http://mgoblog.com/mgoboard/ot-creepy-stories-featuring-story-turned-short
(That one about songs you like but are embarrased about that I can't find)
so let's hear it. What do you believe despite knowing that it's not a popular opinion? Team related or otherwise (yes, many people will want to retain Borges. Be creative).
I'll go first: I really enjoy a good black bean burger and frequently order them rather than beef burgers.

Blimpy Burger and Chik-Fil-A are overrated.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:39 PM ^
Wow. Chick-fil-a? That's blasphemy.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:49 PM ^
I agree with you on Chik-Fil-A. I would just assume have Popeye's.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:50 PM ^
...did you seriously just say that you think Chick-motherf'in-Fil-A is overrated?!?!
Aw, hell naw!
December 11th, 2013 at 1:57 PM ^
This is mesmerizing

I think people who don't live near one think it's amazing because of its scarcity. I've eaten plenty but don't think it's anything special, just a decent fast food option. If you're in the south and want fast food chicken, Zaxby's is a far better choice.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:22 PM ^
There is one that is a three minute walk from my house and it's amazing every time I have it.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:36 PM ^
This is the first time I have ever encountered the possibility that Chick-Fil-A was anything other than midling fast food joint who took over the Peach Bowl. So it's actually good?
December 11th, 2013 at 4:16 PM ^
The first time I had it was a couple of years ago. All I heard beforehand was Chick-fil-a this and Chick-fil-a that. I finally tried it and was highly pleased. Waffle fries are also amazing. They bread each piece of chicken by hand in the restaurant, which is what makes it better than your average fried chicken. Each piece is different and I love it every time. I always get the spicy deluxe meal.

I've neve had it either. Actually, I don't have one around my area back home. Oddly enough, I've seen one here in Seoul haha

Zone Left! How dare you! Chick-fil-A??! He said "unpopular" opinions not "stupid" opinions! LOL
I think the cocaine and crystal meth they put in the breading and fries has worn off, causing you to think a little too clearly. Time for you to order a #1 combo!
December 11th, 2013 at 2:48 PM ^
Completely agree. They recently built one a block from my work; everyone hyped it up so much and I was really excited to go try it...only to get there and find that it is an entire restaurant built around subtle variations of the McChicken. I honestly don't get it. Glad I'm not the only "crazy" one.
December 11th, 2013 at 7:56 PM ^
Only thing I like is their fries.
December 11th, 2013 at 8:33 PM ^
Blimpy sucked. Good riddance. Charging people high prices for nasty food and rude service. And now there is no word on them relocating even after their "Blimpy Last Supper" scam they ran to supposedly get help for funding.
Elevation Burger and Great Plains are far, far better places for food and with superior service models.

I did not care for The Godfather.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:30 PM ^
It insists upon itself.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:51 PM ^
WHAT DOES THAT EVEN MEAN?!?
December 11th, 2013 at 2:04 PM ^
I think Chick Fil A is gross, but I state that usually and freely.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:05 PM ^
Agree on The Godfather and I also couldn't care less for Scarface.

Lord of the Rings.

The movies or the books? If movies, then you are forgiven. If books, then you musn't have read them yet.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:35 PM ^
I greatly enjoyed the movies over the books.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:37 PM ^
Movies.
Most of those types of books I do like.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:07 PM ^
They made a book out of that?
December 11th, 2013 at 2:26 PM ^
Airheads. Nice.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:24 PM ^
+1
That goes doubly for anything beyond that (+1,000,000).
Also hate "You won the internet"
and ASAP
December 11th, 2013 at 4:16 PM ^
Now you can actually +1. Yay.

I've read quite a few fantasy books/series and there are many far better then LotR. I have just never understood the love.

one of the nicest surprises of 2013. The guy can play despite some notable malfunctions this year. I think he is going to be a key playmaker on defense for the next three years. I am looking forward to a breakout sophomore year from him.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:30 PM ^
100% agree on this

I think the football team will be good under Brady Hoke, maybe even win a National Championship.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:40 PM ^
Many people think that actually, sooooo....
December 11th, 2013 at 1:50 PM ^
You must be new here.

Yeah let's pretend that the first day you found out about this site is the day you signed up and started posting (yesterday). Otherwise, no...no they don't
I invite you to any game open thread or coaching snowflakes.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:23 PM ^
I have read this site for years, actually.
December 13th, 2013 at 3:21 PM ^
also get their news from Buzzfeed. I also think we can have a superior football team under Hoke but its heavily dependent on good Coordinators.

NHL Hockey is way way way better than the garbage that's in NBA right now.
(Might not be that unpopular of a statement especially around here, but the majority of America disagrees with that statement)
December 11th, 2013 at 1:41 PM ^
YES 1,000 TIMES YES
NHL is my second favorite league. NCAAF is the best sport in the galaxy, but the NHL is clearly number two.
December 11th, 2013 at 2:37 PM ^
As a Canadian it's incumbent upon me to love hockey but I have to say that the NHL is my third favorite hockey to watch. I love watching the CHL (any league, but particulalry the Q since that's where I played) then NCAA hockey and the NHL is my third favorite.
The best hockey to watch is fast approaching though, and it's not the olympics though that is great too. It's the world junior championship and despite the fact that we haven't won the tournament in eons, that is the best hockey to watch by far IMHE.
For me though, I agree iwth your stance that NCAA football is the cream of the crop where sports viewing is concerned. NOthing better IMHE.
December 11th, 2013 at 1:50 PM ^
100% yes.
December 13th, 2013 at 4:46 PM ^
I've never really liked hockey very much and I love basketball, and I still agree with this. The NBA is unwatchable.
(yes I'm a cranky old man pining for the NBA of the 80s. Now get off my lawn.)
