the best we can realistically hope for is a D that gets better as the year goes on and his hopefully somewhere between competent and pretty good by the time the Nebraska and OSU games come along. With Mattison at the helm, I think we can realistically hope for this. Hoping that Kellen Jones will eventually be able to play himself into the 2 deep at the Will. Hoping with added experience and coaching Marvin Robinson will be a player that you just can't keep off the field. Same with Furman. They are both raw now but hopefully will be more refined in technique and responsibilities as the season progresses. |

I'd go with the win against Duke by means of a Tim Hardaway Jr. game ending and 1 Alley Oop from Darius over that impressively ugly Kelly guy. I'm just personally more excited about our Basketball team/program at the moment. I'm sure that will change as we get closer to the fall but the last 6 months have been pretty tough on me as far as football goes. I'm just slightly emotionally detached from the football program at the moment. Absolutely not trying to bring the front page malarchy into this. Just way more excited about the basketball team.

where upsets are valued very highly. You get 8 points for an 8 seed winning and 1 point for a 1 seed winning. So if a 1 seed wins 4 games, you get 4 points. If an 8 seed wins 2 games, you get 16 points. Does anyone have any opinions on some low rated teams that could advance? I'm thinking Belmont, Utah St could. Anyone have any thoughts, opinions, or suggestions? |

as well. Has Doyle even thought about what happens next year when Morris has already been out of the cocoon for a year? Will he keep calling him butterfly in year 3 and 4 because he made a big leap from year 1 to year 2? How can he possibly think that nick name will stick? |
