1 day 3 hours ago Wait, what?

I am in no way related to this "Blue in South Bend." I simply appeared at the same time he vanished. This was merely a coincidence.

Nothing to see here, FBI Agents who are searching for the OTHER Blue in South Bend...

We agreed we would collectively own that. Don't be greedy.

4 days 46 min ago ...

4 days 3 hours ago Thing is

Of course no one cane out smelling like a rose. It was a postmortem. You can't write a book about how and why a plane hit the goddamn mountain without everyone looking bad.

4 days 23 hours ago Double parking

is where you park a car in the same spot twice.

5 days 36 min ago ^^This^^

... is a really, really, outrageously dumb interpretation.

5 days 39 min ago *

"He Mad. Nope, not him... the guy three seats down. Green shirt. Yep, him"

5 days 42 min ago I agree

But I think the reaction (at least for me) is one part "that's pretty shady" and three parts "holy terrible judgment, kid."

Besides, you keep calling this a "bribe," implying some sort of criminal activity. A better phrasing of the nefarious interpretation would probably be a "gift'; something that would seem completely okay and innocent in most circumstances, like an employer or family friend or whomever hooking this kid up with some spending money, that becomes a problem only because he's really good at running and jumping and catching.

5 days 47 min ago So

Not that it materially changes your point, but I see more like $4000 in that picture. And I can't remember the last time I saw that much cash just chillin, and I'm a man. I'm 30.

/Mike Gundy'd

5 days 54 min ago There are many reasonable interpretations

Of that picture:

  • Dude just closed an old savings account, and they gave him cash.
  • Dude received cash from a school
  • Dude received a 'gift' from a booster
  • Dude mows a bunch of lawns
  • Dude's parents happen to have a bunch of cash, and he was having fun

All are plausible. I have no way to know which is the correct one. But the "how do we know this isn't the Matrix, and that the picture isn't real?" explanation struck me as particularly ridiculous.

5 days 1 hour ago What I'm saying...

...is that "he fabricated this picture" is a really, really unlikely interpretation of this situation. What, he took a picture of someone ELSE's lap and stack of thousands of dollars? He found something on Google Image and assumed no one would notice?

5 days 1 hour ago So...

Have you met my friend Occam? He has some thoughts on this subject.

5 days 1 hour ago Hmmm...

5 days 13 hours ago Maybe it's just me

But don't you have to see how good teams ACTUALLY ARE before you can calculate a remotely accurate SOS?

5 days 20 hours ago Yep

I write stuff on LiveWriter and then publish it, but for some reason it publishes to Diaries. I usually relocate them to unpublished stories within a few seconds, but last night I had a brief internet blip so it remained up for a few minutes.

I'm not a mod, but I still have those powers, and every now and then if JGB and LSA are busy, I'll fix the things I see.

As for the point thing, I have no idea.

5 days 20 hours ago So many guns
